I found this character base by mellon_soup on Pinterest and thought it'd be perfect for the eyeliner thing I drew a couple weeks ago! They're chillin' in their boxers and doing make-overs after a monster-free day-off <3<3 (The knights have to wrestle good binding habits into Clay (lest he bind the day away while he's fighting or working out). Bind responsibly!! Do not be like this nerd who canonically sleeps 2 hours every night). Kwato (I dunno if you're gonna see this, but you're awesome!!) in the comments of one of my AO3 works got me thinking about Clay with white trauma hairs and I had to add them. I was held at gun point by myself. I feel like Lance would pout when he's focusing on smth, I dunno-

(The amount of times I've typed "Babyshitting" is both astounding and hilarious, in my opinion) Chapter three is out! Omg it was two fucking years, how tf did that happen. Chapter four is almost done but-- uh-- considering my apparent track record, I can understand how that wouldn't be very comforting, haha. I was thinking about cross-posting it here, but I dunno- I don't wanna have it in different places before I'm fully happy with the work in full, lmfao

Made this today instead of doing literally anything productive-- I feel like Clay doesn't know anything about makeup stuff so he just kinda trusts Lance to go at it and today it was rad, rock-star lookin' eyeliner. (I dunno what Clay's sighing at, but I'd like to imagine someone (Aaron) said something cringe) Coloring is hard! But this was fun <3<3 (Don't ask where Clay's shirt is, I keep forgetting to draw clothes when I'm sketching headshots)

UUUUHHH-!! Did anyone else who watches Nexo Knights on Tubi.TV notice that they refer to Axl as "Alex" in (at least) the first episode synopsis? Am I going nuts, or was Axl's named supposed to be Alex-? I swear I've heard something else somewhere that Tubi.TV has un-updated episode synopses so I wouldn't be surprised, but maybe it was just a typo, lmao

In the midst of my writer's block, have an outfit re-design! I've never mentioned this before, but my version of Clay is a trans man and, lemme tell you, button up shirts can be scary for us swag-ass AFABs without something underneath. I'm not sure if he's had top surgery or if he's just using a glamor spell, but I feel like Clay would still wanna make sure he's covered up. (He owned the Hawaiian shirt prior to the episode, but he brought it to cover his shoulders) I think episode 2x6 Knights Out would be more fun if all the Nexo Knights were there trying their damnedest to make sure Clay actually relaxes. Also, there's no way Clay owned a swimsuit prior to that episode; in my re-write on AO3, Lance is gonna drag the others to go shopping so they had swanky new fits for the expensive-ass resort he's bringing them to. (The new jewelry is plot related) (don't ask where his other hand went, it's in the void, idunno how to find it-- Also he is ripped, trust me, I just dunno how to draw those yet)

Howdy, bud! I'm trying to put together a vague outline of the series for me to work off of for my re-write, is there anything important I missed? Or just something like a plot-line or note from an episode that doesn't make sense?

Season One

Graduation Battle-Bration (Merlok fake out death, rip)

Jestro ("Jes") joins Monstrox ("Mon")

Uses Nexo Powers for the first time even tho Aaron calls his hovershield a "Nexo" shield before the powers were introduced-?

Established lava monsters

Mon and Jes collect some of the "Books of Evil" 

Season One Finale

Knights get separated, Aaron escaped and gets them out   

Mon tries to take over Knighton, but doesn't get past the front gates

Season Two

Mon and Jes find the other Books of Evil

Somehow not immediately snapping into awareness when they get woken up by a rogue "Rooster of Wakening" means the knights are "lazy" – Local teacher threatens to un-knight the Kingdom's only protectors, even more local knights forget only a King can do that

Season Two Finale

Mon tries to possess Clay, it doesn't work

Jes gets redeemed – Local Jester finds out he's good at stand-up even though it's been previously established that his stand-up routine is, and I quote Aaron, "brutal"

The knights all got different jobs cos now there's no more evil even though there wasn't any evil before when they initially became knights

Jes gets corrupted again, yikes (Mon's a cloud now, hate it when that happens)

Enter Ruina Stoneheart in maybe Heart of Stone, idk, she does that "OoOoOo, I'm a spooky lady" thing with Clay
