Apple uses Facebook and may other social media tools to promote their products in other words social marketing. Their advertising objective is to inform, persuade, and remind the customers. It is very easy to know when new products are out because they make sure it's everywhere. They also use print broadcast and billboards to assure people know of their products. Yes, they are very effective because that’s why people want to have the latest technology. They have a program called Apples educational prices where students and teachers qualify to get discounts on their products. Other than that Apple doesn’t have any other sales their prices are very firm, and they don’t discount on their products. It is very effective because no matter the price people still buy their products. Yes, personal selling is helpful because any time a customer has a problem with the products they can go in to the store get helped.

Post 12 Place (Distribution)
Apple's distribution strategy is very effective. Apple has many stores where you can purchase their products. But not only do they have many stores, but you may also purchase their products online as well as by third parties as Sprint T-Mobile and other companies and store that carry their products. In my opinion Apple uses both intensive and exclusive distribution with their products because even though they are everywhere, and a lot of stores sell their products they are very exclusive. I would say Apple uses their own stores as well as mass merchandisers and superstores like Sam's and Costco. This is very convenient because their products are very accessible to everyone.

Post 11 Trends/Pricing
The threats or opportunity for the brand is Samsung, because they have phone's that are very competitive to the iPhone. Samsung has responded to the evolution of iPhone very well. Their technology has been great competition to Apples products. Although Samsung products are expensive I believe their prices are a little more reasonable. Apple products are expensive, but you pay for what you get so therefore I think it is worth every penny. Apple has a fixed cost, but their prices remind the same regardless of any production changes.

The associated service with Apple is customer service which adds tons of value to its products. I think Apple understands customers' expectations that are based on their knowledge and experience. They have a great online website providing different service to help customers. Apple also provides support and incentives by providing educational pricing. Which is very convenient for students going to school in my opinion. Although they do not have a lot of discounts Apple has reasonable prices in my opinion because you pay for quality products. Apple does a great job communicating the service promised because they promise only what they can deliver.

The key differentiator of Apple is like CEO Tim Cook said, “We never had an objective to sell a low-cost phone. Our primary objective is to sell a great phone and provide a great experience, and we figured out a way to do it at a lower cost.” The price just depends on what you are purchasing a phone, tablet, iPod, or computer. Although the products are on the expensive side that maintain their value. The Design that Apple offers is high quality products that depending on your personal needs they have a variety of different products and services they offer. Apple has different distribution methods including in store purchase as well as online purchasing. The sustainable competitive advantage Apple has is that it has been a leading brand for years now. Providing apple store location in places that are in malls and that easy access to anyone looking to purchase their products.

Using the SWOT analysis, I have determined some of Apples strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Some of the potential strengths are consumer loyalty a lot of people are loyal to the apple products like the iPhone and computers and a newer product like the apple watches. Another strength would be that all computers and other products share the same software which is convenient. Some of the weaknesses are price because Apple is on the pricier side because of their high-end products. There are a lot of opportunities with Apple in the market share growth. Some of the threats that apple has faced are Netflix, Hulu, Amazon since they stream videos.

Throughout the years Apple has used the segmentation methods to target different people. Apple uses the demographic method to target different age, gender, and income people. By using the behavioral measures which include occasion and loyalty they reassure customer that they can meet their relevant needs better than any other company. By using their benefits in other words prestige, they strive to meet the customer needs and wants. Using psycho graphic segmentation, Apple evaluate how consumers purchase according to their lifestyle and self-concept

Apples key competitors are Samsung, Sony, Lenovo, and there many more out there. Since Apple does not only have competitors with computer brand it also has competitors with software and other services that it provides. The position is hold in the market is one of the top if not number one brand. Apple has made it to the top using the marketing mix. By providing goods and services that people use in their everyday life like computers, phones, and i Pads. By making the quality products and with the newest technology Apple has made it to the top. Using the business to consumer marketing strategy it has provided get service to their loyal customers.

What makes Apples packaging so special is the dedication and effort they make to package everything so perfect. Since Apple knows that’s the first impression a customer has when they look at their product they keep it clean simple and direct. I believe that Apple has done a great job packaging all their products. For that and many more reason they have brand loyalty consumers keep on buying their products over and over. Consumers buying from their family brand because they are loyal. Overall Apple is a very successful company that has grown a lot throughout the years.

Apple has a very effective marketing plan by creating, capturing, communicating, and delievrying value to customers. By using the 4 P’s it has made customer very happy throughout the years. By using the marketing strategy it has targeted customer excellence and product excellence. By using the market segmentation it has divided the market into groups to identify customers different needs and wants. It has also kept a very positive public relations for customers.
