what i think is funny about the aristotle & dante movie director or whatever saying conan gray copied the movie for the ‘this song’ mv is that i watched the mv and then reread aristotle & dante and literally thought they had the same vibe. like i listened to the song on repeat cus it’s SO them.

i haven’t even watched the movie yet so that’s literally so funny. so clearly they’re not wrong that they’re similar, but that’s also just a vibe thing. gay vibes.

i didn’t even know i was gay yet when i first read it and yet i felt so deeply represented. like even more than the queer aspect, ari as a character is just so ME. like i lovehim so much and he is literally me. and then also being half mexican but never feeling mexican enough and like im so disconnected from that part of me/my culture…i just love it and i can’t wait to reread it this month and then FINALLY watch the movie.
