Tried satin stitch embroidery for the first time! 🧵✨ I got a kit with three designs — just finished the second one, and now hoping to get it framed a bit faster this time. French knots are killing me 😵😂

Kyrgyzstan is my homeland and this is a Kyrgyz pattern I really liked, so I turned it into a cross-stitch chart to stitch it myself.

Right at the finish line, I suddenly ran out of my entire skein of floss 😅 Had to run to my mom for help, she has a much bigger collection of floss than I do. The color’s not exactly the same, but now this piece has its own little story. A sweet reminder that perfection isn’t everything 😊

I absolutely love this piece! Finding and matching all the colors was a real challenge, but the result was totally worth it.
