Might undergo TAHBSO in 2025

So this 2024 I have been wondering why is it that my stomach is still bulging and round while everything else in my body is getting thinner... I started asking my brother around May (when I checked my messages) and at first he was concerned about my liver so he advised me to do a cleanse. He did told me to go to a doctor for a check-up but I was too busy with work and overall I was feeling fine. I did watched my diet and slowly took off sodas and other bad food from my diet. I kept with a 30 minute walk a day routine so I still have some exercise despite my busy work schedule.

Fast forward this December 2024, I'm still feeling okay but last November ovulation week my bloat and constipation got so bad I was about to cry and had to take laxatives to ease it. It got better with laxative but it got me worried.

I took an online consultation on December 5, 2024 and I was advised to get a Transvaginal Ultrasound. I had it scheduled for December 16, 2024 since I still have my period at that time. Come the day of ultrasound, I was still feeling positive. Until the results, that is...

Turns out I have a large fibroid/myoma on my uterus. About 18cm. It covered my other ovary so they can't see it but my other ovary is okay. I was really devastated.

I tried to call back the doctor I went with online but she doesn't respond anymore... Quite unprofessional really... Why I said it was because the online appointment was scheduled. If she was unavailable at that time she should have closed that scheduled in the first place. So that same afternoon we went back to the hospital for a face-to-face consultation since I figured it would end up that way anyways... The doctor was nice but she did say because of my age and the size of the myoma removing everything is the only way to go. Basically a TAHBSO or Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy which meant removing my uterus, ovaries and cervix. We're fine with it, me and my husband, since we didn't really plan on having children, but what really stressed us out is the financial burden. We have to prepare at least 250-300K Php for the operation. It's not like we can just have that money on us. Everything we have we are still paying for them since we need them for work. It was really dark for us.

I contacted my brother who recommended for me to have a check-up. He works in the US in the medicine field so he knows best what to do and he offered to help us financially. It was a huge relief for us but that doesn't mean I should just let him do everything so even now as I'm still looking for ways to save money for the operation.

Right now all I could do is take portions of money from my commissions and save it to an account that will be use to pay the hospital bills.

As I'm waiting, just trying to spend the holidays as normally as I could, all I could do is pray that the money won't be a problem later on and that I have no complications during the surgery.

Dear God... please guide me through this dark days...
