hmmmmmmm usually Hinata is headcanoned as a rich kid because she's Hyuuga. and usually, Naruto is headcanoned as a troublemaker, and quite often, too, he's pretty normal. so I'm not entirely certain if you're trying to ask for something that's out-of-the-norm, but the specificity of your ask makes it seem like you've had trouble finding fics like this.

Wait. Are you asking for a fic where Hinata isn't shy? Like, a popular Hinata who's not shy? I don't entirely understand what you're asking for, I'm sorry 😓

I'm doing well! I hope you are well, too! I can't tell if this is a lost and found ask or a fanfic rec ask. But anyway, I don't know of any secret relationship canon-divergent fics where they end up getting caught by their friends. I only know of a modern au fic where they get caught.

NaruHina Secret Relationship AU

This is the one that I know of where they get caught red-handed, so to speak! It's just that it's not canon-divergent. “Secret Lovers” by @spyder-m - Rated T, Modern AU, Multi-chapter, Complete. Unbeknownst to their friends, Naruto and Hinata have actually been seeing each other for quite some time. With their relationship developing further and the time they have to spend alone being limited, how long will they be able to keep this a secret?

I remember the Gaahina Baby firefighter fic but I can't find it QvQ But on my search for it I found another fic that might be one of the #unfound ones: Naruto AU- Heartbreak and Healing By: WandCloakStone AU where after the big, end fight, Naruto leaves on a mission for 6 years. When he gets back, Hinata is understandably upset.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look for the fic!! It was a while since I read it but from what I can remember Hinata and Naruto were strangers at first. Her son was with Gaara. They are no longer together but are still friends. The plot wasn't focused on the fire, that was just how they met. I believe it was a multi-chapter fic, but I can't remember if it was competed or not.

Anyone who sees this please keep an eye out for this Firefighter AU fic on ffnet 😭🙏🏼 I really want to read it. It must be old because GaaHina is not as popular of a ship as it used to be,,, that's pretty rarepair these days. i'm thinking this story must have been written around the same time as the NaruHina fic "The Way of the Geisha" by chancewriter (in which GaaHina and SasuHina pairings were hinted)...

"The Way of the Geisha" was written in 2011. GaaHina must've been a pair on more people's minds back then, as opposed to now...when I'm pretty sure hardly anyone thinks of even suggesting them together. These days people use Toneri or possibly Kiba/Shino/Sasuke as romantic rivals rather than Gaara.

So...thinking a fic definitely written before The Last came out!

Hi!  Oh boy do I love this question! It’s more comfort fanfic writers than comfort fics. Their style of writing just hits the right spot! I live in constant fear that they delete their fics or the whole profile tbh. Anyways, here are some that I can think of on the spot.
