bones and his adamance about kirk not being an admiral ☹️

i’m reading the lost years (so expect me to probably post about it more than once) and i’m on like chapter five and they’ve manuipulated babygirl (kirk) into a paper pushing position and he was supposed to meet with admiral nogura ab how his first day was and instead found bones inside his bosses office LITERALLY YELLING at the HEAD OF STARFLEET ab how kirk should not be in the admiral position because it wont be good for him and that he doesn’t actually care about kirk at all and oh my god. yeah girl you advocate. im in tears. im in tears imagining jim kirk listening to his best friend leonard mccoy yell at the head of starfleet on his behalf. god. god this is gut wrenching. and SPOCK too. spock is so upset. and they’re separated. put my trio back where they belong. on the enterprise. together.

i’m going crazy can anybody hear me. gnawing at the walls of my enclosure.

probably will hear more from me about this book, i’m only 74 pages in and i have so many THOUGHTS.

okay but on a serious note this show changed my life forever and i’m so serious about that. this show is amazing, the themes, the messages. i know that’s the mfing point of star trek atp and everyone and they mama knows star trek has always been progressive, but it was beautiful to sit down and experience.

i love this show. i will never stop loving this show. they mean everything to me actually. this is the hill i will die on. live long and prosper everyone. 🖖🏼💛
