i think garrett as a character is unreasonably funny. he is constantly chasing after a sense of completion and goes to such extremities to achieve that. bro faked being a fictional character for years just to get some spongepussy and after his shitty ex cheated on him he fucked off into the horseland wilderness to go find porn. he’s so quick to find anything to fill in the voids left in his life that he decided to date a guy he only met two days ago and the cracks in that are already beginning to show, garrett is an emotional trainwreck, and just when you think that train has hit enough people there’s like 5 more that are about to be splattered on the tracks. in complete opposition to rich who is just a carefree dumbass, rich doesn’t think about shit like the meaning of his existence or the value he brings into the world he is just happy to be there. find some porn? sure why not it’s not like i killed 5 people a few days ago let’s fucking go bro. rich is aware of himself as a person and knows he isn’t perfect but he doesn’t really think about the deep philosophical questions about his stupid donut life. he just wants to do what he wants. but i think the one thing he truly does hate is being forced into positions where he must act. he likes when things come naturally, he is a posterchild for freedom and childlike wonder. kind of
