Year 28 ✨👑 Happy Birthday to me! Thanking God for allowing me to see another year of life. Year 27 almost took me out. It was the hardest year of my life. I had to fight every day to stay here and not let depression win. Losing my mother shattered my entire world and broke me into pieces. The old version of NiEsha died right along with her. Ever since then I’ve been trying to figure out who this version of NiEsha is. Although, year 27 was hard for me it also taught me a lot and made me turn more to God even though I was angry at him and didn’t understand why my life was going like it was. I am truly happy and blessed to still be here alive and glad I didn’t let the dark times win. I thank God for giving me another chance at life. Forever missing you mama and I’m going to continue making you proud. Love you! This journey isn’t easy, but I know I’m needed and loved. Cheers to another year of life and continuous healing and evol

It's ok not to be ok. People say that a lot but it's true. Just because you're sad now doesn't mean you will be sad forever. Falling apart today doesn't mean you will feel like this tomorrow. If you're sad, that's ok. If you break down, you will be better soon. Don't hate yourself for feeling bad, it's not your fault. Another day will be better.
