So this week has been full of chaos and driving, digging and huffing and stamping. By that I mean myself and the child have been digging top soil like no tomorrow, 2.5 tonnes to be exact.
The main goal of this wasn’t for fun (god forbid) but to fill the gaping hole that was the pond.

Lockdown has unleashed all the time to dedicate to cooking and creating something delicious. So over the last few weeks I have been busy trying new recipes and perfecting old ones, and it has been yummy! Here is a selection of goodies I’ve managed to create over the past few:

So it’s VE day here today and people are out en mass to celebrate and remember those who have fallen and ensured peace in Europe for the most part. My partner’s grandad was part of the war and he won’t ever share his stories, I’m not sure I blame him. The horrors these people must have been though is unimaginable.
