i wish i knew something more appropriate to say. its hard to even imagine what has or will happen. there was something i wanted to say before i read your last post, so i think i will just say that, and hope it reaches you one way or another. "your persistence to create despite everything around you inspires me so much." its not much, especially now, but i hope it means something

Thank you so much for this, it makes me feel blessed to know kind people like you care about me and my safety. I went through a lot in the past two weeks and on top of it all, my country's internet was down and and i was in compelete isolation from the rest of the world, but sketching little things and remembering all the wonderful messages and comments i'd gotten throughout the years helped me feel better everytime. I can't believe we're officially at war now and my loved ones and i can die at any minute. I just wanted to say that if i go offline in the upcoming days it's either because they're shutting down the internet or the worst has happened. Either way i love you all so much♡ thank you for always being so supportive and kind to me, it makes me happy to know my art touched and inspired so many people and made them happy even for a minute. Makes it feel like it was all worth it :-)♡

Hello there! I found your art recently and really adore the way you draw different materials. Do you have any tips for studying material textures? I'd like to get better at it myself ^^

Thank you so much!♡ tbh i just search for pictures of figurines and clothes, pick the ones that interest me and study them. But instead of copying one specific image try to focus on understanding how the material looks and interacts with light in general, if that makes sense? For example if you wanna learn how to draw glass, study a specific picture but also collect other pictures of different glass objects too and try to find the similarities and common features between them, like how there are always dark streaks with hard edges inside them or sharp highlights scattered all over. This will help you get a good grasp on how the material generally looks and soon you can even draw a glass version of something that's not even glass (you can compeletely wing it but trust me it will still look believable!) Atleast this has been my experience :) sorry if this was confusing lol i'm rlly bad at explaining </3
