this just been bugging me they barely did anything with Raph while his brothers got tossed through the wringer or had their thing. After his whole anger stuff was resolved they did fuck all with him. Mikey gets the superhero stuff Leo gets ptsd and enlightened Donnie gets traumatized what does Raph get? Oh two episodes where he helps people. Which yeah makes sense they could have made that an on going thing for him like Mikey’s superhero gig. But no they had to drop it. Because in a way that is kinda Raph’s own superhero thing it’s just less flashy. I noticed this in fanfiction too where Raph is constantly left behind while his bros get their thing and have all the good stuff. If I come off angry sorry I have a lot of feelings about this lately.

Do you have any headcanons or general thoughts on 03 Raph?

I’m realizing something about my followers, and it’s that I seem to have collected a large amount of 2003 fans. Which, like, I’m not complaining :P

Omg Raph my boy, I have done such a 180 on this dude. He used to not be my favorite, cuz he was so angry and closed off and not relatable to me at all. That was before I had really fallen down the rabbit hole of hyperfixation and I just kind of dismissed him as a flat character (god how wrong I was)

I have since mended my ways! Now I love how complex he is as a character, all the subtle (and not so subtle) ways in which the writers showed how much he cares, how deeply he feels all of his emotions, and how truly kind he is. That’s one thing I love about 2003 in general, is just how kind all of the boys are. Like they’re sarcastic little shits to their enemies but they’re so kind to everyone else, it’s just adorable honestly

As for headcanons, I adore the “Raph is a big ole softie” trope. He sleeps with a stuffie tucked under his arm. He brings snacks to his bros all the time, as a gentle reminder to eat or just as like a little present. He’s Klunk’s favorite after Mikey (animals in general gravitate towards Raph for some unknown reason). He cries at “chick flicks” (and then will beat your ass if you say anything about it). He acts like he hates hugs but then will make up any excuse to get them. Just a big ole sweetheart wrapped in spikes and rage lol
