I'm getting kind of sick of people saying things like "you have to be careful, predators are masters of disguise" because in my experience the reality is that most people will bend over backwards to make excuses for and defend very obviously creepy behavior from men. Middle aged men will make crude, sexual comments about underage girls all the time and usually the adults around them will laugh and brush it off, and if you say anything against it they'll accuse you of being dramatic. People will overlook obvious red flags that a man is a predator and then when the guy is finally arrested for child porn/rape they want to pretend like there was no way they could have known. i saw a video somewhere on tiktok about a girl saying ( and being 100% valid ) how uncomfortable some of the league of legends skins for women make her because they're overly sexual. i feel like this is a very niche issue, but i cannot stand the outrage when women complain about the sexualization of female characters in video games. the same right wingers who act like they cannot play a game if they don't consider the main female character attractive are the same people who would flip out if they saw a woman dress like the way their pornified 3d characters are. when it's a video game character thats a woman the excuse is always "there's women that are built/dress like this in real life!!" but when a woman dresses the exact same way in public its "all women are whores"

The video game trope of the naked female boss is getting old. I can play a game and fight tones of male bosses, all ugly, old or covered in armor, clearly their beauty isn't he point, but the minute it's a female boss she's just a beautiful girl with no clothe on. They don't even necessarily look bad in terms of design (I like the goddess Hela in Hellblade), but the difference with how male bosses are treated is obvious. In Elden Ring not a single male boss was hot. They were all ugly, monstrous or old. No pretty faces, nice slim bodies and none conveniently losing his clothes during phase two and showing his perky youthful ass. I'm embarrassed for the devs.

And don't get me started on horror games and movies. Not only are women naked but their femaleness is used as a scare factor. I'm so tired of this shit.

What you wrote about males' pedophilic tendencies and women enabling them is so true. I remember reading years ago a book by a pedophile and he said that most men were attracted to girls under the age of fourteen and that many of them simple chased after women to go after the young girls in their families, and that these women were too stupid and desperate to notice something was wrong with the man. That he saw many men pretending to be prince charming and that women fell for the trick every single time. I didnt (want to) believe it back then because I was young and naive, but looking back I was at my most popular in my teens and had been getting approached and catcalled since age 10.
