It’s all ‘omg mad max ! I love my controversial king!!’ Then Lando says something dumb or annoying and the whole internet starts going on about how he’s not championship winner material.

AND DO NOT GET ME STARTED on how the internet has vilified George for…caring? Showing emotion? Because it’s weird and cringe for a man to show an emotion that isn’t rage?? - yeah…

Everything George said in that interview last year that he got called a crybaby for saying is 100% TRUE. And it’s been proven to be true…over and over and over again. And it’s not funny. It’s embarrassing. Why is a 27 year old man throwing tantrums? Instead of talking to his team management, instead of trying to get the best result he can with that car.

No one in my family liked F1 when I got into it but I DID get my grandad into it. That man will watch ANY sport that’s on ever but he’s only ever been really invested in Rugby and football.

I have no idea how long I have left with him (you never know ) but I’m so happy that this is something I get to share with him. Knowing that he’s there on a race day with a can of Stella cheering for Oscar and Lando because he knows I love McLaren. I still don’t get to see him as much as I’d like but f1 has definitely brought us closer.
