17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what

i'm so happy to hear the food i draw looks good!! while drawing i usually only ever have water/coffee/tea at my side because i am insatiable and will inhale the food without noticing if i'm multitasking... and i'm learning from the chef running my lunch place (absolutely amazing guy) to respect my food not only while cooking but also while eating, and focus on the details. when i draw food i mostly do so from memory since i cook a lot and it's easy to put it together on paper with first hand experience!! :3 on drawing food, i'm very inspired by the way wendy macnaughton does so, overall she's a fantastic illustrator. look how she draws sauces and freaking feta cheese and makes it look so crumbly and tasty and like feta:

26. What's a piece that got a wildly different interpretation from what you intended

the closest thing to an answer i have is how people interpret the relationship between double face; specifically this drawing, because i personally don't view their relationship at all like that of a parent-child - if anything i feel like the rest of crazy:b babies kohaku a lot more than madara does. madara treats kohaku more like an equal (t ex he calls him kohaku-san!! compare this to rinne and niki's kohaku-chan) while also keeping him at an arm's length in that really classic martyr madara way. which is why it's all the more gutwrenching when madara disbands double face; kohaku loses that very valuable and important partnership and madara self sabotages. i could go on... double face forever. but honestly i also think it's kind of on me for using that caption:D #regret

hello! i've heard of artfight and it seems like a lot of fun, i always love to see people post big collections of art attacks they did during artfight once the month is over AND i love seeing/drawing OCs! i might look into participating next year if fortune smiles upon me in terms of stress and work but this year july is looking..........😰...... for the time being i'm cheering on everyone participating..!! good luck!

my artstyle and drawing kissing aren't concepts that are besties so i usually take the coward's route instead of the difficult one. and i also really like how cars can be super fun shapes and i like admiring cars but they're soo hard to draw !!!

i looove opposites/parallels/mirrors!!! i love when characters are those to each other. it's so much fun in art + character design + stories in general... waaahhhhhhhh also i love mundane settings and the quiet life type of depiction. so good + fun!!

3D!!!!!!!!!! it's incredible what people are able to do with it and it's not easy...!! if you have 15 minutes i recommend you watch my friend sander's incredible film, seeing from the sidelines how our colleagues made it come to life was fantastic. the colors and world and tempo... aahhghgdflkgh but i also really appreciate rug tufting....................

22. What physical exercises do you do before drawing, if any

i usually warm up by drawing a couple of circles and spirals to get my hand loose and that's all BUT........i do weightlifting at least 3 times a week and it does do wonders for my wrists, shoulders and back in terms of pain/fatigue...! big recommend if you draw a lot, + you can eventually lift up other people which is also nice

Mason Lindroth of hylics fame is a fantastic artist, musician and animator, the characters in Lindroth's work are endlessly fun. im a huge fan of the Shapes

the mozarabic illustrations in manuscripts written by Beatus of Liébana, who was an 8th century monk in Spain who jotted down his visions of the apocalypse among other stuff. it's unclear how much of the illuminations were actually finished by him but if his little monk friends did them together i'm not exactly mad. the strong colors, the rly expressive faces, the HUGE hands always...... slay. i feel it's also important to mention that Hildegard von Bingen was active about 3 whole centuries after Beatus and i love her art sosososo much too...!

i have to cut myself off here bc i could go on 5ever. special shoutouts also to the manga legends of year 24 group, hwisnails nail art, luwaldstad's tattoos.

8. What's an old project idea that you've lost interest in

i usually don't lose interest in stuff i want to make; i just run out of time or get slightly more passionate abt sth else ;_; soooo many abandoned animatic ideas for everything i love...... i think one thing i won't end up making since it'd be massive is a zine dedicated to my love for reality TV, the exploitation of both contestants and viewers alike and how long running reality shows become a microverse in themselves (t ex the way the bachelor franchise is SO self referential, how certain words/phrases mean something completely different inside the bachelorverse vs normal life; the recurring contestants and "sins" they've committed etc), the way reality TV is misunderstood by ppl who don't watch it and just overall my personal relationship with reality TV!! talking about it again still makes me wanna draw it AAAA so many pivotal/memorable moments in my life are for some reason tied to reality tv. god damn

ALKSDHAKLS i think they're super aware; it's even funnier if rinniki are like that but the rest of crazy:b finds out they aren't even together and it's just like. WHY !!! they're always mentioning them being lovers and stuff so i believe that in a way they know before rinne and niki know..?
