AU based on a one off scene in S4 where Lloyd sees a picture of kid him with the older teen ninja-

When the Ninja returned to "their time", they were happy to see Lloyd safe and sound. But not too soon after their return, things in their lives start to look different.

Jay is sporting more facial hair, a beard almost! Kai is with more scratches and bruises. Cole's hair has grown long and body more full. And Zane has less of a human skin and more metal.

Wu is much much older and Nya is trying to gauge Jay's maturity to see if he's even- husband material!?

It seems that with the timeline going goofy to fix things, it didn't just take Lloyd being younger into account-

It took the guys being older too.

During his treks, Cole barely lived after a bad floor collapse. Trapped in the Caves of Despair, he was then met face to face with a ferocious creature his mother had warned him about years ago...

Sons of Garmadon/Hunted AU

With the ritual successful, Garmadon is again unleased at his very worst. But as the prophecy was completed, and his initial corruption cleansed- Garmadon is left in ruin as he's once more trapped in the body the venom groomed him into. He has no true evil in his body, it is only the mere skin of his that remains tainted.

That leaves him with a bad case of a tiny little girl who clearly did not understand his true self.

To be fair, neither did Wu, neither did his father...

Harumi is missing.

The Ninja are scrambling to find her and possibly- hopefully alive. Every room seems to be void of the princess, and soon suspicions are raised if something or someone has gotten aboard the ship and took her.

All this fuss, all this worry.

And one Ninja considers their options.

Is it worth it to admit to what they did to her?

They did catch her feeding information to the Sons of Garmadon...

When Harumi was taken back to the palace, Lloyd stayed behind to make sure all was okay in the slums.

But what a twist it was to hear from some of the homeless never seen Harumi until that very night. Some say they found her pointing SoG members in their direction to mess with the poor folks before doing her charitable act in front of Lloyd.

The worst come from a few that tell of Harumi approaching friends and family, who shortly after disappear and then reappeared as new members of the SoG.....

Cole has always been able to see spirits hidden from the normal eye. It let him stay in touch with his mom, much to his dad's worry, and he's used the spirits of hikers before to safely traverse his homeland.

A good side to seeing ghosts is that you can take care of unfinished business for them!

Bad side is sometimes those spirits want to kidnap and kill your little brother cause they got snubbed out of a prophecy.

Scott's uncle, Dr. Julien was fascinated by Zane. So they agreed to study Zane in exchange for housing and teaching him how the real world worked.

S3 comes along and Zane gets blasted apart, and the others are sad... then two seconds later, he respawns and freaks everyone out.

The reason Wu never shared the information of other Elemental Masters is due to Elements being wide spread knowledge and widespread inherited.

Amber, Speed, or Wind are normal, everyday elements Ninjago's citizens use. It's not uncommon for entire classes to be filled with young Masters of all kinds.

The only difference of Wu's omission is that... The Elements of Creation (Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Earth) are only held by one holder at a time.

Meaning the OG4 are the rarest in Elemental Mastery.

Cole knew that his culinary skills weren't that great. He's seen many negative reactions towards his food enough times that he wanted to turn a new leaf and fix his approach to cooking.

He never tells the others about his "solo patrols" in the city, really being him attending a local cooking class and getting better. Better so much that he starts trying cooking again in front of the others.

And the others are... not so supportive.

It all devolves when Cole tries to make a cake for the others. Finally, something that'll convince them that he's improved!

But he's crushed, not even an hour after he's talked about finishing it-

The cake is in the trash. Untouched.

In Ninjago, they have what's called Heart's Desire Day. For this holiday, someone writes loving notes to their friends and partners with extra gifts of candy or flowers or whatnot.

So when Lloyd is faced with his first year with the Ninja on this holiday, he tries to find the right words to say to his family.

But if that doesn't work-

The Green Ninja fortunately knows everyone's favorite candies!

Kai and Nya tell the Ninja about how their parents went missing. They also tell when their parents came back and brought with them a confused, but happy to be above-ground snake army.

Morro takes Lloyd prisoner, but instead of doing everything that leads his second death-

Morro works with Lloyd to secure the Realm Crystal, to destroy it so the Preeminent can't invade Ninjago.

Which proves to be a challenge when the Preeminent's more loyal spirits are bound to their task, and Morro and Lloyd must keep up the act until they can get to the Fisrt Spinjitzu Master's tomb.
