The recent addition of the premium ads have broken the old dashboard userstyle, but I've found a workaround to it
You need to go into your uBlock Origin settings and add a line in "My filters":
"www.tumblr.com##.gLEjz" (without the quotation marks)
And voila, it's usable again

Manga I've read this week
Versus by ONE and Kyoutarou Azuma Honestly all I needed to start this was finding out it was made by ONE, it's a fantasy story where humanity must defeat the Demon King and the main character is sent out to defeat one of his lords only to be easily defeated. Following his defeat he runs away to run into his brother who informs him that he was merely a distraction for their true plan, summoning another world to defeat the demons for them, however after summoning this other world they find out they have their own existential threat in the form of an infinitely adapting robot army. Not only that, there are actually 13 different worlds that were summoned onto one planet, each with their own "natural enemies" of humanity. Really fun, really violent. Honeko Akabane's Bodyguards by Masamitsu Nigastu I started reading this originally the week it first started coming out, but the site I was reading on didn't have any more scans and I dropped it for a while, started it again this week and it's still super fun. The premise is sick and most of the characters are really cool. Unfortunately as it seems like it's gonna be ending soon several of the characters won't get any sort of backstory. It's also a very silly romcom with the main duo not being able to confess, then having 2 love triangles. Sumihiko my beloved.
GALAXIAS by Ao Hatezaka Only 6 chapters are out, it's got people with dragon tails and gives me kind of early HxH vibes (I can't really think of anything else where the main character finally gets a chance to leave their incredibly isolated home).
GOZE HOTARU by Kou Tosaya A blind girl learns how to play the shamisen so she can roam the countryside and find her father. NGL I'm like 3 chapters into this one so I don't actually know anything, seems neat though.

Figured I should talk about every game I've 100%'ed on steam so here we go.
Completed games reviews #1: 9 Years of Shadow
6/10
An incredibly stylish metroidvania with some fun environmental exploration and a really neat healing mechanic. Get it on sale.
The normal enemies feel like they take forever to kill even when fully upgraded, and the elemental weaknesses are completely pointless half the time. The minibosses are generally pretty easy with a few I struggled with, but there are so damn many of them. Bosses were fun and challenging if somewhat repetitive.
Getting around was infuriating prior to getting the light armor, but that's probably just me having to fidget as I run around in game. The lack of any way to see if a room still had anything in the map made getting the last blue note irritating. The complete lack of fast travel is a mistake.
The coolest thing about the game besides presentation is the light bar, besides making the game trivially easy until the very end. Gaining the light armor gets rid of the magic you have so you don't have any mana.
This game flirts with greatness but could've benefited from fewer enemies and mini bosses, fast travel, and having some kind of magic following getting the light armor. I'm looking forward to their next game, Mariachi Legends.

Folding Ideas: My Personal Favorites
Sometime last year I saw The Future is a Dead Mall for the first time, and as my first video from Dan Olson I can't say I was particularly hooked. Part of that was because the next few videos recommended to me were Line Goes Up, and Jamie Oliver's War on Chicken Nuggets which are really long and I don't really care about respectively. However, having gotten really into his videos recently I kind of just wanted to post something about it, so here's my list of my favorite 8 videos of his.
I Don't Know James Rolfe
It's just, so damn good. The framing of a retrospective on Dan life and career as a pseudo-takedown video on someone he claims to share some kinship with combined with a performed midlife crisis. Just absolutely brilliant. As far as particular draws for this video: the shot were Dan gets really angry at the camera while talking about how hard it is, while sitting underneath a projection of James is easily my favorite thing Dan has ever made.
2) This is Financial Advice
A thorough autopsy of the Gamestop squeeze and the followers of the meme stock movement with a few of my favorite gags of Dan's, also my favorite character of his (I'm new here). While a far more thorough video than Jauwn's video on Kais Maalej when it comes to the big picture both are very solid videos in their own right.
3) In Search of a Flat Earth
To be completely honest this is not a great Flat Earth video. It's good and it has quite a few incredible parts but I don't think it's as good as Hbomberguy's or Philosophy Tube's and especially not Professor Dave's. However, this is the single best video I've seen on Qanon. Also the descriptor Esoteric Fictionalism is really good
4)The Future is a Dead Mall
Of his 2 videos on defi I think this is the stronger of Dan's, and I think that's for a few reasons. Namely because he's able to attack the idea of the Metaverse more directly than he's able to attack anything during Line Goes Up, but maybe I just don't remember it as well.
5) Line Goes Up
NFT's are really fascinating and Dan does a really good job of covering them, it's just there's a few other youtubers who also make great videos on NFT's and crypto as their main focus, namely Jauwn and Coffeezilla.
6)The Art of Editing and Suicide Squad
A really good video on a pretty bad movie. It covers a lot of the problems in the movie and how despite several of them being caused by studio overreach it just wasn't going to be a particularly good movie. Also El Diablo is far and away the best character in the movie .
7)The Darkmoon Fiasco
Short sweet to the point.
8)Contrepreneurs: The Mikkelsen Twins
Dan writes a book about hypnosis. also he makes a whole video off of ads that just kind of annoyed him, he does the same thing for the Idris Elba Gold Doc which is also a great video but I think this one is the better of the 2.

I always hate finishing a series that actually has the time to give itself a proper ending. It just leaves me feeling kinda hollow.
