Here are some fun things that we had at Nippon Con! Our registration table complete with Spidershark to oversee the Con, as well as our “Anime-Influenced Western Cartoons” panel, and our game room!

Also we would like to remind anyone who wishes to send pictures that our submit is open!

Another vendor that was here for Nippon Con was Oh Snap Collectibles, which makes various snap buttons with a wide array of different images, as well as different accessories to attach the snaps to such as bracelets, necklaces, rings, and more!

Another artist featured in Nippon Con 2016 is Yucari Cosplay, who not only had various merch for sale but also had her own cosplay book and pictures for charity!

On April 17th we had our annual Nippon Con, which was a major success! Here’s one of the awesome vendors we had: Cosmic Crown, which does custom tshirts!

NipponCon 2014 would like to thank Asterplace for joining our performance roster! 

Show Time: 5:00pm

The Asterplace is a New York City based Tokyo melodic-core and Japanese anime rock band from Tokyo, Japan. They perform worldwide at rock festivals & Anime/culture conventions, mostly in North America & EU.  They also have excellent language skills, speaking fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and needless to say, “Japanese” as their mother tongue.  “The Asterplace” can be defined as creating beautiful music, much like the beauty of a flower blossoming each year, representing the beautiful melody the band’s music creates. As the sun shines upon the world, as the moonlight upon the atmosphere, The Asterplace projects their music to the world. So far The Asterplace has performed at more than 30 conventions as musical guests. Their performances at Anime NEXT, Kotoricon, Zenkaikon, Tribeca film festival, Armageddicon, Sakura Matsuri at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and the Sakura Matsuri in D.C. are only a few of their musical endeavors thus far. Furthermore, their first tour in Germany during 2013 was a great success.

This company offered us 3 boxed sets of their series to use as prizes, as well as offering us screening rights for the convention. These will be used as prizes during several of the larger events.  Thank you Rightstuf for all of your support.

DJ Nawty started out as an Internet radio DJ back in the mid 90’s, for fun. When gaming on line became big , She started playing a VR game called The Sims…

Nippon Ai would like to welcome Warm and Comfy to their performance roster.

Their performance is at 2:00pm.

Warm & Comfy is a genre breaking musical experience from the minds of Mr. Warm and Ms. Comfy. Descending from the land of Kawaii Kitties, they have been programmed to perform at many live events including Nippon Con, Fuwa Hina Maid Cafe in Baltimore, and Japan.
