UNSC - USA THE BIG DADDY
Tumblr media
by Dain Kim from The New York Times
UNSC - USA tries its best to console Israel like a crying baby, but fails.
During the press conference held in the UNSC, a passed resolution aimed at maintaining peace between Israel and Palestine was briefed. Despite its approval, Israel expressed clear dissatisfaction with the terms outlined in the resolution.
While the resolution addressed four key demands made by Hamas—preserving borders, enabling Gaza’s reconstruction, ensuring humanitarian aid access, and securing a promise from Israel to avoid future aggression - Israel firmly rejected it. The delegation of Israel stated, “The demands didn’t include crucial assurances for the safety of our civilians,” emphasizing that national security remains their top priority.
Fortunately, the USA once again reassured the council of its commitment to maintaining the peace, vowing to take strong and decisive action if the resolution was violated: “We have the biggest guns on the table.”
With Israel’s concerns still unresolved, the future of peace in the region of Israel and Palestine remains uncertain.

Even if so, the delegate has also recognized the country’s economic flaws and will ensure to spend enough funding to enhance the problem of poverty in Xinjiang

U.S. Exposes Its Hypocrisy and Incompetence
by ChengQi from Xinhua News Agency
UNESCO - In a display of utter incoherence and self-contradiction during the UNESCO press conference, the delegate of the United States failed to provide a competent response when confronted about the nation’s misplaced priorities on so-called “human rights advocacy”. Despite their previous relentless insistence on dictating global morality, the U.S. exposed its hypocrisy by acknowledging its domestic turmoil while oering an unconvincing and uninformed justification for its actions.
When questioned about why Washington continues to push LGBT agendas abroad while its own country is plagued by racial and social strife, gun violence, and political instability, the U.S. delegate provided an extremely muddled and unclear response, riddled with vague statements lacking any substance. The delegate’s remarks were centred around the transition to a new administration under Donald Trump, with some out-of-context remarks about a new terminology and how previous frameworks had been “blown away” and that funds could now be “diverted to other more important stu, I guess.”
The blatant lack of direction and concrete policy details raises some serious questions: How can the U.S. justify interfering in other nations’ social policies when it cannot even articulate a coherent domestic plan? How does it claim to champion human rights while consistently failing its people? The response was not just disappointingit was an outright embarrassment, exposing the U.S. as an unprepared and uninformed force on the global stage.
If the United States cannot even answer a simple question about its priorities, how can the world trust them to lead discussions on human rights? The international community must recognize this façade for what it is: a desperate attempt to maintain influence while ignoring its deep-seated problems.

EXCLUSIVE: SECRET DIPLOMAT IN FCC.
by Emma Zhang from VN Express International
FCC - Exclusive insider information was received through a delegate regarding secret diplomatic mission plans to the Sulu Sultanate.
The Sulu Sultanate, through unknown means, is in possession of Russian matter-antimatter weapons. The intention of the use of the weapons is unknown, which has raised concerns among nations. The plan is to send a diplomatic mission towards Sulu primarily to “offer help and gain a mutual understanding”, and wishes to “teach them how to use the weapons if they’re open to it”.
The delegate continuously underscores the importance of these weapons, stating that the weapons “are catastrophic and world-ending.”
Through this mission, the delegate hopes to establish diplomatic ties with the intent of maintaining relations. The delegate expresses their wish that in the future, Sulu may join the Non-Aligned movement.

“Dirty, Western Pig propaganda!” says Qatar delegate
by Caitlyn Chia from BBC News
UNESCO: Qatar firmly rejected the initiative of even considering the inclusion of LGBTQ+ topics in educational curricula to fasten equality, labelling it as "blasphemous" and an extension of “dirty Western pig propaganda” that threatens to ruin the world.
Qatar appears to believe that the inclusion of LGBTQ+ topics in educational curricula will distract students as they’ll be bombarded with “whatever new genders USA comes up with”, and derail students from their main objective in school.
Russia, despite acknowledging that a majority of nations indulge the idea of interpreting LGBTQ+ education, aligned with Qatar in opposing the initiative. They emphasized that culture and religion must be protected warned that forcing LGBTQ+ topics into education systems would threaten traditional beliefs, and emphasised that UNESCO must address the sovereignty of all nations.
It is likely that a soft resolution, which allows for voluntary LGBTQ+ education rather than an enforced standard, ensuring that nations like Qatar and Russia do not feel their cultural or religious values are being threatened, may be brought to the council. However, there’s also the possibility that the debate could steer away from LGBTQ+ inclusion itself and redirect towards broader discussions on sovereignty, cultural autonomy, and education policies.

Persian Federation Crashed Out.
Tumblr media
by Reuters Reporter
UNOOSA, 3rd of March 2173 – We’ve just witnessed one of the most spectacular diplomatic crashouts in history. If you thought your day was rough, spare a thought for the Persian Federation.
One moment, they were proud of their nation with a thriving, bustling city. The next? Boom – a radioactive surprise. Persian Federation was left discombobulated. Citizens of the Persian Federation have returned with symptoms of radiation poisoning.
In Persian’s speech during the press conference, they aggressively stated that the United States is not “following democracy”. They are focusing much more on irrelevant issues, such as the Red Hand as a terrorist organisation. However, it has done nothing towards the people.
At this point, nations in the council will start taking bets on when the next “accidental” hypersonic missile deployment will be.

We Haven’t Done Yet — Israel
Tumblr media
by VN Express International Reporter
FCC - In response to the terrorist acts and intentional violence allegations, Israel has said that “these countries have been framing Israel for something we haven’t done yet”. Israel has denied any intentional involvement, repeatedly stating “the events are both unfortunate coincidences” and that the council had been “blaming Israel without evidence, (they have) no proof”. However, the ominous “yet” raises questions about their future intentions.
The delegate of Israel is being accused of organising deadly antimatter strikes on negotiators between nations and the Red Hand, a terrorist organisation.
However, Israel has accepted full accountability for the nuking of Tehran, where a 15kT nuclear warhead had been deployed. Israel labelled the deployment as an “unforeseen miscalculation”, adding that they “are responsible for the technical problems”.

“Might as well invade China and get more land,” says Japan
by Annie Chengqi from Xinhua News
SWITZERLAND, 1981 — Japan has chosen to invade at a time when China, despite battling its own internal struggles, remains a sovereign state with a long and proud history. As Japan launches a completely unprovoked attack under the pretext of the war’s imminent conclusion, they have revealed their expansionist ambitions with little — or, seemingly non-existent — regard for the consequences of such aggressive attacks.
“Well, there’s only like… 100 days left of war anyway, might as well invade China and get more land.” — Responded Ōshima Ken'ichi’s when Japan was questioned regarding this abrupt military action and the corresponding consequences, dismissing all concerns with this extremely unsettling remark.
The response suggests Japan’s fundamental disregard for diplomatic norms and global stability, cementing its reputation as an opportunistic actor. Allies of Japan and fellow delegates of the HCC are questioning whether Japan is truly seeking peace or just looking for another chance to take more land for themselves in the chaos.
If left unchallenged, this latest invasion may only be the beginning of a much larger conflict—one that could shape the future of Asia for decades to come. How will Japan justify itself for this terrible action when its allies are immersed in peace talks and stalemates?

by Yonhap News Reporter
HCC - The UK has stated that by pressuring Germany,  the internal security of Germany will be damaged and they will have no choice but to surrender.
Although peace negotiations are still underway, the German Emperor has been reluctant to discuss peace terms with its allies. When inquired what the next step would be after Germany's refusal, Alfred Miller, the Secretary of State for War of the United Kingdom replied that the UK had set naval blockades around Germany, preventing resources from reaching their people.
“The people will starve, and Germany will ‘come crying’ to them for peace talks,” says Miller.

German refuses to participate in WW1 peace agreement negotiations
Tumblr media
“The war has still not turned against our table” says Germany
by Emma Zhang from VN Express International
UNOOSA - Germany currently holds parts of Northern France and Serbia but refuses to use it as leverage in peace negotiations.
When asked why they would not engage in peace discussions with the opposing bloc like their ally, Austria-Hungary, Germany confidently stated “We want to gather further wins and victories so that we can defeat the Allied powers once and for all,” insisting that they will have a definite victory. They did not comment when asked their opinions on the importance of creating peace now. The Allied bloc also stated that Germany’s refusal to participate will “surely become an issue”.
Currently, Britain, Italy, America and France are engaging in peace negotiations with the Ottomans, Austria-Hungarians and Bulgarians. Austria-Hungary states that its peace demands include “keeping Austria-Hungary together as one sovereign nation” among others agreed with the Ottomans. This may provide difficulty in compromise, as the US has strong views of self-determination (allowing countries to rule themselves).
Delegates seem optimistic, with Austria-Hungary concluding that “we are very close to ensuring stability in Europe for years to come, and ending this war once and for all.”

Israel Denies Wrongdoing as PRC Delegate Demands Investigation Over ‘Coincidences’
by Annie Cheng Qi from Xinhua News
UNOOSA - Israel has declared itself a nation of peace, denying all allegations of aggression despite two high-profile military incidents. However, the delegate of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) has called for an investigation, warning that the international community cannot afford a ‘third coincidence’ from Israel.
Following the devastating explosion triggered by the Israeli hypersonic missile deployments, Israel has insisted that it does not seek to attack anyone and remains committed to peace. However, delegates from the PRC and other nations have raised concerns over the pattern of events, with the PRC delegate explicitly stating that Israel’s actions can no longer be dismissed as mere accidents and must be investigated.
“Another incident of Israel!? You sent drones into my airspace and killed my people!” exclaimed the delegate of the Persian Federation in a heated discussion.
Despite mounting diplomatic pressure, Israel has disregarded all claims against it, refusing to acknowledge any responsibility for the destruction. The delegate of Israel maintains that they have acted in self-defense and remain dedicated to stability in the ongoing conflict, claiming that it is impossible for a rocketship to do an intentional “180 degree turn mid-air” and denying all responsibility for the attacks.

People of East Malaysia don’t want to survive; they want to live
Tumblr media
by Yonhap News Reporter
DR - The MPs are assembled to address the disparage in the socio and economic aspects of Malaysia, primarily focusing on the East Malaysian states of Sabah and Sarawak.
MP Masjid Tanah called out the underdevelopment and underrepresentation of Sabah and Sarawak’s healthcare, infrastructure and education, stating that the talk concerning empowering education is useless despite the students risking their lives just attending schools. This sentiment was echoed by the MP Putrajaya, who declared strongly that the people of East Malaysia don't want to survive, they wish to live, to thrive. He stressed the gap in necessities and quality of living, as well as his displeasure with how the government is handling this topic.
MP Tambun, Larut and Pagoh all shared similar statements, advocating support and investment in East Malaysia to improve infrastructure and reduce the gap between living qualities in West and East Malaysia.
MP Pagoh in particular, implored for an increase in Sabah’s autonomy and their army, citing that the MA63 allows for it. He presented numerous solutions, suggesting the establishment of a legally binding timeline to transfer power to Sabah and Sarawak, stating that they deserve it as part of the top 6 contributors to Malaysia’s GDP. MP Pagoh also called for decentralisation of healthcare and education, as well as allowing Sabah and Sarawak to impose a higher sales tax on petroleum as an immediate action to improve East Malaysia’s economy.
Criticism also arose for MP Pagoh’s suggestions from MP Seremban who questioned why MP Pagoh hadn't executed his proposals during his term as a prime minister.
The voices for East Malaysia’s improvement are strong in Dewan Rakyat, working together for investment in Sabah and Sarawak. Even so, whether a solution that can manage to appease everyone being formed is still a mystery.

UNESCO proposes the Global Digital Heritage database for the long-term preservation of cultural heritage.
Tumblr media
by Emma Zhang from VN Express International
UNESCO - The delegates of Kenya, Australia and Iraq propose the creation of the Global Digital Heritage Database (GDHD), a comprehensive digital archive of cultural heritage sites and artefacts at risk of destruction. It is planned to be established under UNESCO in collaboration with INTERPOL and leading technology firms.
GDHD plans to use technology such as 3D scanning and photogrammetry to create high-resolution digital replicas of monuments, artefacts and historical sites. It is also proposed that information regarding its history be added to further educate citizens effectively.
It is a huge step towards global cultural education and awareness. By allowing citizens to add their own cultural heritage to the application, the application promotes global inclusivity and ensures all cultures, especially ethnic minority groups, are represented and rightly preserved.
The delegates urge technologically advanced nations such as China, the US and South Korea to support this by providing funding, infrastructure and their expertise.

DISEC contemplates life
Tumblr media
by Kyodo News Reporter
DISEC - An informal session has been held in the Disarmament Committee to clear up confusion within the council.
Many delegations, including those of Egypt, Iran, and Indonesia had stated that the topic of the debate switched constantly, making it difficult for them to keep pace.
This prompted the chair to begin said session temporarily, which allowed delegates to effectively reflect before resuming the discussion.

An AI-Generated UNESCO FIASCO
Tumblr media
by Times of India reporter
UNESCO - A dramatic development occurred in the UNESCO council room as it was revealed that the French bloc’s draft resolution was the product of Germany’s ideas, and being accused of an AI-generated resolution.
After a shaky presentation by the French, Danish and Canadian delegates, chairs of the council questioned the transparency of the draft resolution and its authenticity as the delegates were not able to defend the resolution to the fullest. However, Germany then stood up and finally claimed ownership of the draft resolution.
The draft resolution, focusing primarily on the deployment of a military task force and the establishment of a global fund, was revealed to mainly consist of Germany’s ideas.
However, in a shocking turn of events, Germany pulled out of the cosponsor list and instead opted to sit and listen to the draft resolution rather than present it.
This revelation did not please the Chairs, who reproached the council and urged delegates to never repeat this incident.
The council is now in motion again with other delegates presenting their draft resolutions.

MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT TO ASSIST BORNEO
Tumblr media
by RT News Reporter
DR - Despite the fruitful natural resources in their state, Sabah and Sarawak remain undeveloped compared to other states in Peninsular Malaysia. Both the government and the opposition wish to resolve this issue by decentralising Malaysia's investment in education and infrastructure and integrating the two states properly into the federation.
While the government stresses heavily on these points, the opposition argues that East Malaysia also needs better border security, something that the government has overlooked in the past. , because of this, East Malaysia experiences border incursions and illegal immigration from other countries like the Philippines and Indonesia. Says MP Pagoh.
Also, Malaysia should not miss out on investing in opportunities like eco-tourism by overinvesting in Sabah and Sarawak, added another opposition party member.
East Malaysia also has a much higher rural population by percentage than Peninsular Malaysia, which hinders Sabah and Sarawak even more as the two states are much larger than the rest of Malaysia yet they have a much smaller population, which makes the population more spread out than the cities in Peninsular.
Despite these challenges, the Malaysian Government could achieve these goals and fully integrate Sabah and Sarawak into the Malaysian economy, increasing the possibility and introduction of new industries from the 2 Borneo states.

Israeli Hypersonic Missile Deployment Triggers Devastating Explosion Amid Peace Talks
by ChengQi from Xinhua News Agency
UNOOSA - The deployment of hypersonic missiles by Israeli cruisers has led to a catastrophic chain reaction, destroying half of the strike craft deployed for peace negotiations and killing all negotiators present.
The matter-antimatter engines aboard three ships detonated, unleashing explosions equivalent to 500 megatons of TNT—a devastating escalation that has placed Israel at the centre of global scrutiny.
As the situation worsens, the delegate of Israel has vehemently defended their position as pacifists. However, the two ‘coincidental’ attacks have created doubt among delegates.
“We are peacemakers!” Claims the delegate of Israel. However, there is a high level of uncertainty among the members of the council: Should they continue to trust a nation whose claims do not match their previous actions?
