checked my computer storage today and it said i had 17 gigs of files in the apple TV app and i was like wtf when have i ever used apple tv. so i open the app. it's just the 5-hour-long satrips of both day 1 and 2 of µ's final love live

#unless you have any sort of influence in law abt this in which case no it's not #<3 #kinda full circle actually bc when i was running out of space on my old computer i booted all the ll seiyu vids to the cloud #and then when i got my new computer w a bigger drive the first order of business was redownloading them #i don't go back to em much these days and fun fact most of them are actually on hulu in japan these days #i could adjust when ll music got uploaded to youtube officially and uploads stopped being struck down instantly #but the near-inaccessible lives that used to be sold on $200 dvds being on a mainstream streaming service - so EFFECTIVELY free #idk if i can adjust to that #i do sometimes open hulu and it's like 'continue watching µ's endless parade day 2?'#personal #i hope you're all having a nice fallll

anime resale stores here always have absolute mountains of love live figures from every iteration of the franchise with every character and costume you could imagine...except i've never been a figure girlie so i always just look over the shelf in awe because i can't really see myself buying anything. except, that is, for the early love live sunshine aqours figures with no legs. that, i would buy

#were these the first aqours figures ever?? they can't be right?#either way i remember just how early into lls this was #it's really burned into my memory i have no idea what they were made for though #i just always remember them. and their lack of legs #those shops always have the nice boxed up figures and then the ones that were brought to them without a box #left to sit forever in plastic bags on hooks on the store walls (until someone buys them)#some of those come in multiple pieces? like maybe stands or removable parts...?#but i always think it's gonna be one of these and i'm always so disappointed #cmon rashinban sell me one of the ugliest and most baffling love live figures of all time #personal #honestly it's not just figures i'm just really not much of a merch girlie #living in japan is slowly curing me of that though just because of how normalized it is for everyone to have character merch #i bought a really cute kanan keychain a while ago but then it fell off of my bag when i was out :( i still have no idea where i lost it #the normalization of it really helps though honestly #if you'd told me 2 years ago that i'd be buying little nitotan plushes of my fav characters to hold up to scenery while traveling and #take pictures of i definitely wouldn't have believed it #but that's just like a thing that anime girlies do here. i think it's really cute actually #i still haven't gotten around to actually bringing any of those plushes on trips because i forgot 3 times in a row #and then the next trip i took after that was with my family #nooooot a chance. oh my god there's no way i could've explained that and had them been like oh okay

#i’ve never said it but i’ve always thought it and i think a lot of people have given all the attempts to pretend kotori’s color is green #i do actually think it works for yoshiko but just for me it would feel so much like the short end of the stick #like everyone else is wearing sakura pink and sky blue and warm orange and i’m over here in a gray costume like yes this was my first choice #the reason I’m thinking about idols actually is that it took me 2 months of living in japan to realize i can go see idols #more specifically it took 2 months and the member of an idol group to hand me a flyer on the street and like very persistently and cutely #ask me to come until i was like okay yes ofc #i had literally just gotten off the bullet train i was wandering around and there she appeared #i love idols dude I really love idols so much #kpop is so much more accessible between fandom loudness and content more regularly being available for free but jpop!!!!!!!!!#jpop is my first love!!!!#i saw that live Friday and they said they were performing again Monday and o just happened to be staying in akiba again #so guess what i did last night #i am not immune to idols also you get to take pictures with your oshi as a thank you for your first and second time coming #so after both shows i got to talk a little w the member who found me #ik it’s their job but she remembered me the second time around and also the performances themselves were so fun and cute #it just really reignited the jpop flame in me i love idols so so so much #personal #hope you are all having a nice start to your week!!!

i went to open sif for the first time in a while and it asked me to update but when i clicked on the update link in the app i got a “this app isn’t available in your region” message and then i couldn’t find it through search and i freaked out thinking i missed some huge announcement that worldwide support got shut down or the game just kicked the bucket for good but it turns out it’s fine, the app icon is just so fucking ugly that i couldn’t believe it was the actual game
