domestic!kun

oh oof he was the reason I originally made this 

because it’s kun, and kun is the reason marriage was invented

anyway, kun has everything planned from the very beginning

not when he started liking you, but around the time he realised he was proper serious about you he started his prep for his life with you

his idea was to have this super magnificent proposal in a fancy af place

kind of to show you off, since he loves to do that 

despite the fact it is too much for you sometimes

like every anniversary he will insist on taking you to a new city which has a well known landmark -

Paris, to visit the Eiffel Tower and he gave you a necklace which was watched by loads of people, for example

a cliche romantic, maybe, I guess, but you like it none the less

because his cliche-ness is balanced out with how not cliche kun is in real life

living with him is like living with a malfunctioning android that has no control over his emotions

that isn’t meant to be offensive.. there are just no two same days

one day you will be laying in bed together watching dumb romantic movies

another day you’ll be at a restaurant sipping wine together, enjoying the view

then there will be the days you spend in the country side in the fields walking together picking flowers

picnics together on the sea front where you take lots of cute photos

road trips through the middle of nowhere at any time during the day

really, there is literally anything he will do for you, it doesn’t matter what is

his friends are in on it, your friends are in on it, they are all giving you hints for weeks beforehand

kun gets on with everyone especially your family and rejecting him is near impossible 

anyway he will propose very simply, just asking you at the end of dinner or maybe when you are walking home 

and he has given you his jacket and shoes to wear and he stops you opposite some bright lights 

I am imagining the Huangpu river in Shanghai for this

and he just kinda..says it

no matter what your reaction is he will be happy, and he may cry

probably will cry when you hug him and he will make it discreet so you can’t see him

but it’s cute nonetheless

and he will tell EVERYONE about it, from his long lost cousins to his childhood next door neighbours

the best part is when he texts a picture of you two saying ‘she said yes!!’ to the group chat he created for everyone

and you’re honestly confused as to how he concealed that chat for so long

especially when his friends, especially Lucas, Ten and Yangyang, most definitely could not be trusted to keep something like that quiet

for so long as well… you seriously think maybe kun threatened them

but no, turns out that they are just really good friends

apart from wen Yangyang almost told you and ten tackled him to the ground to shut him up

and kun explained it as ten and Yangyang having a bet about wrestling, which you somehow believed

needless to say, kun almost killed them both that evening 

he would want whatever you want for the wedding, because he wouldn’t mind being extravagant or just inviting who needs to be invited

maybe the ceremony he will only have close family etc but the reception is one of those massive ones

with literally everyone and anyone invited to it, because it’s a celebration!

definitely will have a nice honeymoon too in a country which is far away from everyone

just you two, no one else around, spending time as a married couple, being cute and stuff

the most important word for all of this is: cute

even when you argue, which can be intense sometimes, kun will always do something to rectify the situation at the end

I see him as being quite.. parent-y?? there isn’t a word I can use to decsribe it 

when you argue, he wouldn’t be one to shout no matter how much you did 

he would step back and listen to what you have to say and reflect on it

which is what everyone should be doing, kun just does it the best. he reflects like a pro

and he will want to sit down with you a few hours later, when you have calmed down or aren’t upset anymore, to talk about it rationally

which usually ends with you both having a deep conversation about something else

like the stars or better ways for endgame to have taken place

but mostly about what was on your mind and catching up about things, especially if you work a lot/long hours

he would 100% encourage your career and loves to see you so dedicated to something too

he isn’t annoyed by many things but occasionally things will irritate him

he is human after all, he can be upset by what you do or what you say, or even just in general

at first, probably before you are married, he would have a problem with hiding his true feelings to situations which don’t involve you

and if you spoke to him about it at some point he would change that and tell you literally anything that bothered him

but if you don’t do that, he will just eventually start telling you anyway

he finds you to be very comforting and if ever he has had a bad day literally just laying with his head in your lap makes him feel better

there are definitely some other things which can take his mind of it, but we will leave it at that

as for kids, when you are both ready, you are ready and he is excited as heck

the kind of dad that reads up on everything and would make sure you are okay at anything 

but he would be super caring and how he treats the younger members of nct is such a reflection of what kind of dad he is!!

has some maternal qualities yes, but is also paternal in the same sense and will be able to help out with anything 

is a bit of an old man around kids though, like haven’t we seen that too

regardless, he would still be awarded the number one dad badge each year by his kid(s)

lets ignore the look he gave that fan when they said happy father’s day

but overall, kun is the most dedicated partner/husband and will give you his all

anything you need him for, he will be there

one thing which may annoy you often is that kun invests himself in helping too much

his attention can be hard to capture when he has a lot on and though he tries, sometimes he will forgot to do things you ask etc

regardless, you tell him that and he will stop doing it and focus on what really matters to him

it is in his nature to just want to help everyone but rest assured that the one thing always on his mind is you

expect him to often cook food for you and often surprise you with things 

he would always have that soft smile on his lips when he looks at you because he loves you so so much 

his family really do mean a lot to him and he would be very family oriented, so all his decisions are based off of you (and kids)

so love him back pls :(
