For my final photography project, I’ve been toying with this idea of putting anon statements on signs and having a model hold them up or placing it beside them. To do this I would need y'all to send me anon statements. Things you’ve been holding in and want to get off your chest. Something that most may not know about you.

I know this might seem scary to do, I understand if you don’t want to. I won’t be posting them or anything, and only my prof and I will be seeing these! (Unless you’d want to see the final product? Under The Stars (G.D.) - Part 19 Under The Stars

POV: First Person

Both of us were silent as Grayson drove through the night. So silent it was engraving on my skin and causing an itch underneath. The street lights illuminated his face every few seconds and he was resembling a pretty similar emotion as to what I was feeling; I’m not ready. When he turned off on to a road to go up some sort of hill and away from the city, it became much more darker; I felt like the darkness was swallowing me whole as if to signify the meaning of tonight much more.

I went to scratch my arm out of nervous habit, but Grayson silently reached out for my hand and intertwined our fingers. I brought his hand up to kiss it and nustle my cheek on it. I’m really not ready yet.

Grayson is leaving for a Vidcon tour tomorrow with Ethan. We’ve obviously been far apart before for an extended amount of time, but that was before we were actually dating. I feel so pathetic with having this feeling... and that I’m even having the feeling that it’s going to suck without him around all the time. I never thought I’d get to this point with some guy; Grayson is definitely not just any guy.

As he came to a stop on top of the hill where we could overlook the entire city, all my built up emotions exploded. “Grayson, please don’t go.. Can this just be some normal, regular date and not a last night together for a couple months thing?” As soon as the words left, I knew they weren't right. I was being selfish.

He laughed weakly. “Kat, I wish it could be..But this is part of my work..My career..You know that.”

I shifted back to look straight forward and I nodded, and looked down at his hand still tangled with mine. “I know.. And I support you completely.. It just sucks we won’t be together for a while. God, I feel so pathetic..”

He forced me to look at him and he rested a hand on my cheek as his eyebrows furrowed. “Why would you say that? You’re valid to feel this way. I feel the same way. Fuck, I might feel it more than you… I’ve never had someone like you to leave..” He looked away now, removing his touches on me, and looked back at the faint lights.

I swallowed hard, stunned. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing would come out. I looked forward again and tried to grasp some form of a thought.

“I’m sorry..” I finally whispered. “I haven’t made this easy… I really am sorry. You know we’ll have messaging, and hopefully video calls.”

He didn’t say anything. I could see him make a small nod from the corner of my eye.

I sighed. Man, my heart ached.

After another few minutes went by, I got out of his Bronco and went to the trunk to grab the blanket he had stashed back there. Then I went around to open his door. I reached in to unbuckle him and took his hand.

“Come on.” I coaxed and started to tug him out.

A small smile set on his lips and he finished his way out as he shut his door. I lead us over to a vacant spot in the light meadows and spread the blanket out before I laid down on it. I patted the spot next to me and he shook his head, but laid down next to me and cuddled close.

His earring tickled my face a little, though I didn’t mind. I shifted so my face was in his chest more and I looked up at the night sky. All the stars seemed much more vibrant than I was expecting tonight; They were all twinkling and shining, trying to out shine more than the one next to it. Instead of hearing the electricity current in the air, I heard the sounds of insects talking and the nearby lake’s hushed waves.

“I love you.” Grayson whispered.

I looked at him and he was staring at stars as well, some of them lighting in his eyes. “I love you too.” I nestled even closer, kissed his shirt covered chest, and closed my eyes. I sighed in contentment and let all my anxieties and worries leave me for now.

I’m glad we’re spending our last night together, for a while, like this.

to the anon who sent these (yes, i can tell it’s from the same person), the acts you describe here are sexual assault. no one in these situations has given any form of consent. not the reader, who is often asleep (and therefore incapable of consent), or the twins, who are asleep (and therefore incapable of consent).

if the scenario was one of them being in an explicitly sexual relationship prior, or consent being discussed before hand (i.e. “i like to be woken up to being fingered/eaten out/fucked”), that’s another story. but in these situations, it seems these are the first sexual encounters the reader & best friend!ethan/best friend!twins encounter. which means consent was not given prior, and not given during, which means: no consent given at all. thus, this becomes sexual assault.

please do not touch people when they’re sleeping. please do not normalize the idea of one person coming on to the other while they’re asleep. and, finally, please do not send me asks like this again.
