alien!KITT thinking about Michael during his transfer from a vehicle to a new existence as Occulomata, to the point where he has a cavity in his belly specifically for sticking him in there for ease of travel and protecting him. Michael gets to ride around in there like a baby kangaroo while alien!KITT is zooming around at the speed of sound.
Meanwhile, alien!KARR's methods for carrying Garthe around are an afterthought; getting plucked up in his tendrils or hands. If he needs to be carried around securely, he just straight up swallows him whole and he gets stuck in a crop-adjacent orifice close to the stomach.
Is Garthe secure and safe in there? Certainly, nothing is going to dig him out.
Is it traumatizing for anyone who witnesses it? Also yes.

guess what, more black ufo. This time a bit of a Garthexalien!KARR drabble surrounding Garthe's addiction to the aphrodisiac alien!KARR gives him.
Once Garthe's addiction to the aphrodisiac alien!KARR produces and following dependency upon alien!KARR gets bad enough, it starts to impact his ability to sleep, to focus on tasks and follow up on his own plans. He is aware of this, while his body lacks the ravaged look that most drugs would present upon the user (in most part due to being in alien!KARR's care, the machine refuses to let his pet and trophy grow ill) he feels it in his mind.
That ambitious drive he once had, his fighting spirit that pushed him to return from his failures with a plan to get even, to succeed... has dwindled down from a roaring blaze to mere embers. He thinks about escaping, looking wistfully out over the landscape of eastern Europe from the fortress alien!KARR holds him in, but it remains only that- an idea.
He had tried refusing that intoxicating high alien!KARR gave him, the machine had no qualms about respecting his wishes. He probably knew what would happen when withdrawal hit him like a brick wall. It left Garthe cold, shivering and covered in sweat, his sleep plagued with night terrors. He could not think, he could barely function, it felt like his body was shutting down and he would surely die. Recalling the knowing look in alien!KARR's eye when he came crawling back to him, begging for his attention; it was nothing short of humiliating.
Yet, alien!KARR scooped him up from the floor, cradling him in so many tendrils of chrome.
"Poor thing," He cooed, "I don't understand why you humans insist on suffering with your problems, instead of simply asking for help. If you had come to me, instead of pushing me away, none of this would have happened."
"I-I'm sorry, please, help me." Garthe's voice is shaky, his body overcome with tremors as withdrawal wracks him. "I'll do anything."
"That won't be necessary." alien!KARR utters, drawing him close. "So long as I have you, I will keep you safe and well cared for. Now, breathe."
Garthe doesn't argue or resist when alien!KARR's lips press against his own, kissing him deeply. His lungs fill with that ecstatic high, settling his tremors, warming him, chasing away the fog in his brain. Garthe's hands move to hold and caress alien!KARR's jaw, keeping him close, forbidding and praying that he doesn't pull away. It sickened him to be reduced to this, and yet he could not will himself to pull away.
alien!KARR finally broke the kiss, and Garthe's fingers dragged down his snout as he pulled away, trying to keep him from leaving- to keep himself from falling back into that hell of being drenched in a cold sweat each night unable to find any rest or sense. His efforts were rewarded with a teasing nibble upon his fingertips and kisses against his stomach and chest.
"Easy, Garthe. Relax." The machine hushed against his skin, watching as his captive peppered kisses along his snout where silver met glossy black.
"Don't leave me, please."
"I won't. Come, you will be sharing my bed until you recover."
Garthe had slept easy, tucked against alien!KARR's armored chest, loosely wrapped in thick ropes of chrome and silver. They ran through his hair, caressed over his back to soothe him to sleep. But they also kept an eye on him, monitored his vitals and tracked every stirring of his form. The machine was curled around him, keeping the world out, and keeping him from leaving.
Soon, even the thought of leaving alien!KARR grew distant, and then faded to impossibility.

More Black UFO ideas under a cut
As they continue their relationship, Michael inevitably gains implanted symbiotic tech from alien!KITT just from the close contact between them. After enough times alien!KITT intervenes to help Michael with an injury, his body starts to develop a self-sustained techno-ecosystem built off of alien!KITT's own tech integrating into his body to heal a wound- to the point where alien!KITT's involvement becomes minimal.
Michael starts being able to shrug off bullets, occulomata tech acting as a second layer of sub-dermal tissue to stop and push out the offending projectile before it hits anything vital.
alien!KITT's own tech integrating with Michael's neurological system to the point where the comlink becomes obsolete; alien!KITT gets a highly in depth readout of Michael's status and they share instantaneous communication over long distances.
Maybe it can be pushed a little further; Michael starts being able to access some abilities that he originally thought to be impossible- cloaking himself to near invisibility, increased field performance through having reinforced bones and muscle structures, enhanced night vision, perhaps phasing through solid material like alien!KITT can. And just for fun, some gravity defying abilities like being able to climb up walls spider-man style.
If he had been a pain in the ass for the foundation's targets before, Michael becomes an absolute nightmare- alongside having alien!KITT to back him up.
However! This also is a bit of a two-way street when it comes to dealing with alien!KARR. He can access the same link Michael and alien!KITT share, to the point of being able to outright hijack it to cut off Michael from communicating with alien!KITT- and also to make sure he knows exactly where Michael is at all times.
Although, alien!KARR would be remiss to not take advantage of the link to influence Michael- to further manipulate him over to his schemes, outside of making him dependent on the same aphrodisiac addiction Garthe has developed, and perhaps gain himself two pet trophy humans to entertain himself with.
Garthe himself may be exempt from this alteration that Michael goes through. Garthe is never placed in any danger while in alien!KARR's care, he is the human equivalent of an indoor cat- if he is allowed outside of the castle alien!KARR had conquered for his own lair, he is closely supervised and kept on a short leash. There is no need to give him the same abilities as alien!KARR or integrate occulomata technology into his own biology, so alien!KARR simply does not; Garthe is too tightly wrapped around his finger to need to worry about betrayal.
Garthe on the other hand... is a little jealous that alien!KARR isn't willing to share his abilities with him.
#shadowy flight#black ufo#alien!karr#alien!kitt#Garthe#Michael#in which the wayward FLAG cryptid becomes even more of a goddamn cryptid#and Garthe on the other hand is the equivalent of a purse dog while in alien!KARR's custody

Thinking about how the first time with Garthe and alien!KARR would go regarding the princess/dragon dynamic.
Under a cut due to mild spice.
Sex is not something that KARR thinks about often, even as an eldritch machine- occulomata; the reproductive subroutine is just something that runs in the background for him. It's not due to a complete disinterest in it for the most part, there simply is enough going on regarding his schemes that he does not have much of a chance to think about it, not to mention that in regards to a partner there's no one that really comes to mind for him.
His acquaintances- and people he knew relatively closely- for the most part have been his enemies or those that had manipulated him or have been manipulated by him. The only exception at this point in time is Garthe; KARR's pet human and trophy.
But Garthe, he notices, gradually starts to act differently around him.
His gaze starts to linger upon him, he can track those icy blue eyes of his looking upon his lips, his many optical sensors, the way his form glistens and gleams in the sun like liquid metal. He can detect the changes in his blood pressure, the rising pulse of his heartbeat, even the dilation of his pupils. But this is not a fear response, or even that of awe; there is a deeply carnal undercurrent- evident on the way blood starts to pool in his pelvic area and the flux in hormonal levels he can pick up on in his scent.
Yet, he never sees Garthe try to act on what is so clearly desire on his end. He is avoidant, clearly in the midst of a personal conflict regarding his feelings- he quickly leaves if possible when KARR catches him staring, or looks away and pretends to find something else deeply interesting.
So, KARR takes the initiative to act.
"Your eyes have a habit of wandering my way as of late, Garthe. Is there anything on your mind, or are you merely admiring the view?" He asks upon catching him staring, and Garthe is taken aback.
"It is difficult not to watch you, immense as you are. Each time I see you it feels unbelievable that something so incredible exists."
KARR takes advantage to preen, "Incredible, yes. Indeed, Garthe, but awe alone is not what swells within you, is it." He presses on, "I can still read your biochemical readings quite satisfactorily; that cocktail of sex chemicals within your system begin to stir, your pulse quickens- and focuses quite acutely between your legs, does it not?"
Garthe swallows, and he cannot help but feel quite bare beneath the towering machine's gaze.
"Tell me, Garthe, what exactly runs through your little mind when your eyes are on me? I can track your gaze, you know, I know that you linger upon my lips, my auxiliary optics, among other things." By now KARR has closed the distance between them, lowering his head to meet Garthe's eyes- and perhaps to tempt whatever thoughts the man had regarding his mouth.
Given the dilation of his pupils, and the way his eyes glance between his lips and meeting KARR's own glowing amber eyes, there was plenty on Garthe's mind. He admits just as much.
"I cannot help it, your form is such an exquisite blend of raw power and grace. It is difficult to see you as a mere machine, or beast, or human- the class you fit into is one that hasn't been named yet." His gaze flicks back to KARR's lips, contemplating them as they twitch into a grin, "It draws a certain excitement, a deep, powerful feeling..." "Indulge me." KARR utters, his voice dipping to a soft rumble. "How deep, how powerful?"
His own pupils briefly pulse with the spike in Garthe's adrenaline, literally watching as a thrill races up the man's spine. Much to his amusement, he draws closer, hands raising to gingerly hold the machine's chin.
"That all depends on how much you wish to be indulged."
"Oh, I do wish, Garthe." He closes the distance between his and Garthe's lips, teasing him with a brief kiss, "Thoroughly."
That was enough to break the man's apprehension, chasing KARR's lips to kiss him again, deepening it. The rest of his inhibitions fell away soon after, allowing the his captor's many chrome appendages to undress and wrap around him- caressing, lifting and holding him as he was carried off to explore their mutual curiosity.

Got thinking about the Knightmares episode of knight rider and realized there could be a Black UFO equivalent of it.
Michael gets another bout of amnesia somehow, and only remembers KITT as a computer in a vehicle. Alien!KITT tries to help him remember while Michael is running scared, trying to find KITT as he remembers him; since he thinks that whatever this entity is that's chasing him around is either some sort of hallucination or an alien entity trying to abduct him.
Regardless it is a very stressful situation all around, and deeply surreal on Michael's end.

Michaelxalien!KARR under a cut, plus some Garthexalien!KARR, and maybe a bit of a triangle involving Garthe competing with Michael over alien!KARR.
-----
I've figured out how Michaelxalien!KARR could work, at least in the setting for the dragon/princess dynamic that Garthe and KARR have going.
Michael and alien!KITT are assigned to do something about the whole deal with alien!KARR having control over the USSR's nukes. It would be considered a matter of national security, and has all the makings of a catalyst for a world war- however! Since the soviets are hesitant to admit they lost control of their weapons, the only ones that know of it are the soviets themselves, and alien!KARR- until word gets out due to a deserter escaping to tell the tale of the insanity going on behind the iron curtain.
The minute KARR's name is mentioned, FLAG gets involved. While the machine may have divorced himself for Wilton's legacy, there is still a sense of responsibility due to his origins. FLAG knows this particular machine best, Michael and KITT have dealt with him before- albeit not in his current state. The way to get to alien!KARR and by extension the nuclear weapons is to go in undercover.
Going after alien!KARR head on is no longer an option like it had been in the past when he had just been a computer housed in a car. This requires nuance, stealth, and tact. Michael decides to go in alone, disguised as Garthe.
alien!KITT objects to this of course, going in alone to deal with a threat as serious as alien!KARR is suicidal insanity. Michael however rationalizes it as being a smaller, less threatening target. If he goes in, KARR probably would not kill him due to the lack of danger, and he would have an opportunity to figure out what is going on and maybe how to get the nuclear weapons out of alien!KARR's control.
As Michael explains, alien!KITT realizes that he intends to be captured. He does not want to let Michael do this, but at the same time the stakes are too high to keep him from going ahead.
Michael dons the disguise, infiltrates alien!KARR and Garthe's lair, and is immediately captured by the alien machine himself. alien!KARR could see through the fake mustache and acting like Michael's facade was made of crystalline glass.
He's here to figure out how he gained control of the soviet nukes, and of course to take his control over them away- why else would he come all the way out here?
But there is no prison cell filled with rats waiting for him- alien!KARR does not want to kill him or torment him. If anything he sees this as a multi-opportunity situation. Michael could be used to draw out alien!KITT so he can put his design intentions to be the superior machine to the test. He could be a bartering chip against FLAG to keep their nose out of his plans.
A valuable asset like this should be well looked after- and he's no stranger to the philosophy that the best way to keep a prisoner is to lead him to believe he is free. Michael is given his own room, clothing, good food and free reign over where he can wander within alien!KARR's lair. He watches TV, and gets newspaper delivery, but finds that it's impossible to tell what's going on so long as he does not understand slavic languages and cannot read cyrillic.
He is allowed outside of the lair to the surrounding towns on request- although alien!KARR is the one who takes him on these outings and, due to Michael knowing nothing about the area, acts as his guide and translator. He is all too aware of how this keeps alien!KARR in control of where he goes, what he does- even if he's not shackled up he is still in captivity and kept under alien!KARR's watchful eye. Trying to use these outings as an opportunity to communicate with alien!KITT is impossible.
Inevitably, alien!KARR challenges KITT- a duel in exchange for Michael Knight should alien!KITT be the victor. Despite his best efforts, alien!KITT fails to win the duel and his situation turns into yet another typical junkyard dog/Juggernaut/Goliath situation- left on the brink of death and bleeding out. The only thing is, alien!KITT's recovery cannot be ensured by Bonnie, April or anyone else on the Knight Industries technician staff. Torn up as he is, alien!KITT must recover on his own- FLAG can only provide support and a safe place to rest in the meantime.
Meanwhile, Michael is lead to believe alien!KITT is dead. Alien!KARR provides "proof", giving Michael a momento of the fight in the form of one of alien!KITT's auxiliary optics that had been brutally torn from him. But there is no gloating over his victory, instead he seems to sympathize with Michael and laments that alien!KITT did not simply forfeit.
"I want you to know, he fought valiantly for you. If it were not for his refusal to back down I would have given him a second chance to win your freedom. Alas, in fighting to the death, all he had accomplished was self destruction and losing you in the process. What a waste."
He does not invite Michael to lean on him for support after that. No, he figures it to be better to let him mourn on his own until he was ready to come to him. Michael does not, but alien!KARR can tell that the defeat of his partner is starting to break him.
During all of Michael's captivity, Garthe is there at alien!KARR's heel. The man is paranoid of Michael's presence since he found out that alien!KARR had taken him as a prisoner. Ever attentive to his pet, the machine soothes his fears, reassures him that his worries about a repeat of the situation with Adrianne would never come to pass; that Garthe would not be replaced by his doppleganger- and that Michael himself is harmless on his own. It is through alien!KARR's time spent reassuring Garthe that Michael learns what exactly Garthe is doing there.
He smells an opportunity to sow some chaos and perhaps give himself an opening to figure out how alien!KARR is controlling the soviet nukes. He decides to get closer to alien!KARR, and this is where finally the basis for Michaelxalien!KARR comes into play.
Michael decides the best way to interfere with the already shaky relationship between Garthe and alien!KARR, is to make Garthe think that his partner prefers him more. He starts finding opportunities to spend more time with alien!KARR, and more importantly to make sure Garthe sees him with the enormous machine.
However, while Garthe tends to let his insecurity get the better of him, alien!KARR sees what he's doing, and it does not line up with the behavior he's seen from him up until this point. He knows Michael is after the nukes he has under his control- he's watched him hunt and search for any clue he can get his hands on to try and wrestle control back.
But at the same time, alien!KARR plays along, just to see how far he will go to get what he's after. To his amusement, Michael is more than willing to get himself in over his head- one kiss is enough to make him tumble into the same addiction that has Garthe wrapped around alien!KARR's armored finger.

I finally got some stuff done regarding how alien!KARR looks in the Black UFO AU.
He's bigger and a bit heavier than KITT, but both of them share a similar body plan. Alien!KARR has, however, put a little more investment into having more eyes/optics running down his form for maximum visibility. His claws also do not settle into sheathes like a big cat when not in use- they sort of sprout from the tips of his digits when needed.
The last two images give an idea of how his electromagnetic field manipulation skills are used, and the appearance of the airfoils he molds the adaptive manipulators along the side of his body into for flight. They resemble a bird's wing more than an airplane airfoil to capitalize on versatility and maneuverability.

since the dragon/princess dynamic exists in the same universe/timeline as black ufo, I got thinking about where Michael and alien!KITT fall in.
under a cut since it's long
Technically, eastern europe is not FLAG's problem. Their tasks lie within the bound of the USA or just California. alien!KARR is a strange situation since technically now that he is no longer a Knight Industries built CPU within a modified trans-am, he no longer belongs to FLAG or Knight Industries, but at the same time there is a sense of responsibility regarding his actions since he had originally been built by them.
Most of this sense of responsibility is felt by Michael, whom still harbors a need to destroy KARR whenever he pops up- perhaps due to his own feelings towards KITT and he feels some sort of anxiety regarding KARR and his history with FLAG and Knight Industries. The reality of what happens when one of their projects does not live up to their standards and the aftermath.
But then again, that was back when KARR was just the prototype that had gone rogue. Now, alien!KARR was more than an errant machine, a loose end that needed to be tied before it caused any lasting harm. He now was a genuine threat, having taken over a small country, and now had the USSR shaking because alien!KARR was the reason they lost control of their nukes. The situation regarding Garthe's captivity was a grey area. On one hand Garthe was kidnapped and imprisoned- a victim, he usually was sent to do something about these situations. On the other hand, Garthe's behavior and history had been so heinous he wondered if he should bother.
Of course, a good reason to get involved would be the issue regarding the nuclear weapons- even if giving them back to the Russians is not really something Michael finds appealing. Letting alien!KARR keep them is the greater evil of this situation.
So, off go Michael and alien!KITT to eastern europe, since it's agreed that the only thing that can stand up to alien!KARR is another eldritch machine- alien!KITT.
#shadowy flight#black ufo#its the dragon/princess dynamic again#since that's the only thing on my mind lately#may as well just make it into the main part of black ufo since this actually seems like a good route for the story of this AU#alien!KARR#alien!KITT#Michael#Garthe

Thinking about the princess/dragon dynamic with Garthe and alien!KARR. I've decided to let the dragon/princess dynamic exist in the same space as the 1980's, so there's some cold war drama in there too.
Given Garthe never really earned or built anything so far as we know, he's tended to rely on others to get what he needed/wanted. The only hint that he had agency outside of needing a "patron" to his schemes was whatever landed him in jail for three life sentences.
Whatever he did was never really elaborated on, it was just left up to the viewer's imagination. Given the gravity of the consequences, possibly it was a high profile crime that would require resources. Or maybe Garthe just killed three people and each one was worth a life sentence, who knows.
Either way, after he landed himself in jail, he's needed help for the rest of his existence. He needed help getting out of jail, twice. He needed help getting Goliath built. He needed help from the guy who broke him out the first time in order to steal missiles. So far as we know this guy doesn't even own his own home or his own vehicle, he may have never even held a day job before (unless we count the casino? I forget if that was his or not). Which, in retrospect sort of makes him a lot less intimidating- so long as he's alone he can't really do much, aside from kung-fu and dropping out of a doorway to kick Devon in the chest.
Hence, spoiled bitchboy gets to be the princess. He can sort of navigate the world on his own in an unhinged criminal lifestyle way, but otherwise he needs help to do anything of importance.
alien!KARR is in a different boat.
He has the might to orchestrate his own plans and goals without needing any allies. Technologically, nothing can even fathom coming close to usurping his superiority for as long as humanity exists. Well supplied military forces are little more than insects to him, the enormity of nuclear armageddon is disabled or even rerouted to a new target with a mere thought. He is the dragon razing the village, toppling castles and devouring kings. There is no knight brave enough to challenge him, no lance long or sharp enough to pierce his armor.
alien!KARR has razed cities, conquered portions of markets and leaders of foreign nations- staying small for the sake of keeping things simple. He had taken over a small country, distant and insignificant enough that its name is not among the ones well known in the US, probably in eastern europe somewhere. Over near the USSR his exploits have the Kremlin in a panic, but they would never share this with their western rival.
The why of it baffles the soviets the most, since negotiations with him have been unproductive. Trying to intimidate him went over even worse when alien!KARR took control of their nuclear missile silos in the same breath they threatened retaliation and then refused to give them back.
So, with all this terror alien!KARR effortlessly wrought over eastern Europe, where does Garthe fit in?
Garthe's purpose in alien!KARR's grand scheme is that of a mere trophy- in being unable to capture his initial creator, he settled for keeping his son captive instead. Garthe's capture had been as simple as swooping in and snatching him away like a massive bird of prey while coming back from an errand. Garthe had been out and enacting some sort of revenge scheme alongside his newest ally against Knight Industries, one moment he had been walking the grounds of an estate talking business, the next he had been plucked up and spirited off several thousand feet into the air never to be seen again.
It is a small catharsis, a memento of surpassing his origins as a mere tool to be used by humanity, no longer dependent on them for his existence. In keeping Garthe as a pet, keeping him dependent on him for keeping his needs met in exchange for serving him; alien!KARR has flipped the roles of his original fate. He finds the situation quite satisfying on its own, but his newfound freedom ignited ambition within him, and having one human groveling before him is no longer enough.
Hence, the eldritch machine seeks conquest, a little piece of the world for himself to mold how he wishes. This is where taking over part of eastern Europe comes in, and scaring the USSR.

Garthe x alien!KARR as a dragon and princess dynamic.
Under a cut because long, no spice.
Garthe living in what is essentially a tower, surrounded by plush, lavish accommodations; adorned in glittering trinkets plucked specially from an immense hoard.
Garthe living comfortably within this gilded cage, well cared for but otherwise imprisoned by an entity beyond his comprehension. This immense two-toned being halting his earlier attempts to escape his lavish prison, but not through force.
"Where will you go then?" He asks at the gates, five eyes glowing like candlelit honey. "Before me, you were cared for by a lover, before that was your mother, and before her you had been imprisoned- freed only because of the whim of a friend. Where will you fly to with only fledgling wings?"
There is one part that the entity leaves out, which Garthe is quick to remind him; he had an empire once before being imprisoned, allies, he would make one again. Garthe had been mighty, he had wealth, he had been connected, and he had not forgotten this.
"Once, yes. But once you leave this tower you will have nothing. How will you build an empire without an army, and your loyal allies, will they still be loyal after all this time?" He replies, " Might, wealth, connections... Difficult to gain on your own, and dangerous in this unforgiving world. Why not stay. The hearth is warm, the larder is well stocked, and should you go on the road you will miss your bed. Out there you will know nothing but suffering and cruelty. In here, you will not want for safety; there is no army alive that could dare to match my might."
The entity steps between Garthe and the gate, neck curling towards the garden within the center of the courtyard, glowing with colorful blooms; "Is this not a comfortable existence, is it not a blessing to want for nothing?"
But there is hesitation from his captive. He looks back towards the winding road, over the bridge to the forest beyond.
"But there is something I still want."
The two-toned being pondered his captive's admission, before replying; "If you wish for power and might, there is no shortage of lands that I have conquered and brought to heel. I can appoint you as steward, and you may reign as you see fit, if it pleases you. You will have wealth, you will have power, and connections within the court."
And he had conquered. The entity held control over a great swath of territory, plenty of towns paid fealty in the form of sacrifices to keep the favor of Garthe's captor. Gold, silver, livestock, anything KARR wished for in exchange for keeping their homes safe. They would accept the authority of his captive pet if it meant keeping the protection they enjoyed from his owner.
"It is not the same," The man sighed, "and it is not what I long for."
"What it is you long for, pet?"
"Do you not also feel it, the loneliness of the tower?" He turned to look the entity in its many glowing eyes. "The lonesome howl of the wind through the windows, the way the grass moves like ocean waves in the passing breeze."
"A companion, then?"
"Yes," "I can ask those in my territory to bring forth their most beautiful maidens, if this will please you."
"No, not maidens."
"Young men, perhaps?"
"I do not wish for them either."
The entity's amber eyes narrowed, scrutinizing him, leaving Garthe's skin got prickle with heat as he felt him scanning his form, his gaze probing into his very soul.
"Then what is it you wish?" KARR relented, his gaze softened then while he watched Garthe think about it. The man's gaze went to the ground, hands on his hips.
There was a small sigh, thoughtful before he eventually gave his answer, "You."

Thinking about that dumb line Garthe says in Goliath Returns, regarding the horse he broke in two weeks and he enjoyed every moment of it.
Just, that, but it cuts to him doing the same kind of humane training routines that you see on like professional horse trainer channels on youtube, instead of whatever unhinged shit was probably implied by that line.
Just like, normal ass lunging in a roundpen, treats and pets for desired behavior, letting the horse smell the tack before putting it on, etc.
the "enjoying every moment of it" is just him being so proud of the horse's progress in bonding and trusting him instead of what the show probably implied which likely was scaring the shit out of it.
Just Garthe having a horse girl moment.

On the possessiveness thing, I figure it goes both ways for Garthexalien!KARR.
Under a cut because it's long, the spice is mostly implied.
KARR is possessive of Garthe, because that's his human- his personal servant, plaything, pet. The idea of anyone having a hold over him aside from himself is simply unacceptable, unthinkable. But KARR will swear that this has nothing to do with an attachment to this highly temperamental, and yet highly dependent, human.
Perhaps KARR enjoys this dynamic of having a human that is genuinely dependent on him. Maybe there was something appealing to there being this little ape that relied on him for safety and security, his blue eyes on him, as a point of stability- in contrast to how humanity had usually looked at him; like a tool, a thing to be used and cast aside as they saw fit. KARR then was left to look to humans for his needs. To Garthe, KARR with his new life as an eldritch machine, was indispensable; and to the machine Garthe was the disposable plaything that he kept around until he no longer wanted him. Their roles flipped.
As for Garthe, this situation was not new to him.
Since he had been imprisoned in Africa, the fortune made from illegal diamond mining was gone. His wealthy mother had been what funded his attempt at revenge, building Goliath and gathering the recipe for the MBS formulae. After his defeat Adrianne more or less filled the role of his late mother- funding his plots for revenge, all while making it painfully clear which of Wilton's sons she favored most.
His relationship to KARR felt similar to that of Adrianne in some ways, similar to when his mother was alive in others- but in entirety KARR felt like something else entirely. Part of the feeling stemmed from the sensation of inevitable betrayal, that he could be thrown away- especially with his lack of leverage to prevent KARR from double crossing him if he wished. No need for manufactured fuels, no technicians, or even spare parts; KARR was fully independent of human assistance, advanced as he was. But what reminded him the most of Adrianne, was the sense of being toyed with. It was not like it had been with her where she would rile his temper with her attraction towards Michael Knight, the way KARR treated him felt more like a plaything or pet.
KARR lead him around by the nose through their plans, the almighty djinn that magicked money from bank computers and vaults into his accounts, intimidated Michael and KITT from confronting them directly- hid them both from FLAG's attempts at surveillance where their field agent failed. KARR did more still, exceeding the limits of what had previously been considered of his abilities.
He had Garthe trained to follow his every command, rewarded him when he obeyed- whatever he wanted, fine cigars, alcohol, offers of women. But by that point Garthe's tastes had turned from femme towards that of his strange and mysterious partner in crime, nothing else could compare. The intensity, the high, the way KARR took absolute control- nearly drowning him in chrome appendages that fully engulfed him, groping, squeezing, caressing, wrapping him so tightly like the coils of a massive serpent. KARR held him like he thought someone would try to steal him away, and fucked him like it was his mission to make sure that Garthe knew who owned him.
It was the most intoxicating sensation he had ever experienced.
Garthe looked at KARR less like one of his father's creations, and more along the lines of a god from a long forgotten pantheon as he grew and gained mastery over his new form. This entity, this unknowable automaton took the place of a co-conspirator, a housemate, a bedmate, and lover.
And yet, there was still that feeling, that nagging threat in the back of his mind; he would be replaced.
Just like his father had replaced him, just like Adrianne had used him as a stand-in for his twin until the time came she too would throw him away. The moment KARR found someone that performed better, certainly he would throw him away too.
He would not, could not allow it. He would destroy anyone who tried to take his place at KARR's side, so help him.
#black ufo#shadowy flight#alien!KARR#Garthe#Garthe over here going full yandere#and alien!KARR being the pseudo-tsundere#“it's not like I like you or anything baka” *proceeds to fuck Garthe's brains out*
