so as a nonbinary, they/them lesbian, i get a lot of questions about how this is even possible since i'm not a woman and "you have to be a woman to be a lesbian" (which i know is wrong im just restating their logic). im lucky enough to have friends and family that support me and take my word for it when i say "it just works" but id actually like to have a somewhat coherent answer for them. and i *know* i don't have to justify my existence to anybody but it would be nice to be able to educate other people and explain myself to them. does anyone know how i can articulate and explain the existence of they/them, he/him and nonbinary lesbians?
tldr what the fuck is a nonbinary lesbian and how do i explain myself to other people

hi i need genuine help and education because i’m losing my mind rn. i went through the comments on this tweet and majority of them were just invalidating they/them lesbians and as a person who is a they/them lesbian this just hurts?? and now i’m doubting myself which is scary i’ve never felt this way. i really don’t know how to feel because i’m slowly starting to believe the people who say that i’m not valid. i came across this https://enbysbians.carrd.co/ and i did feel better but i need someone to genuinely educate me about this i feel low.
