Good reading here; is important to recognize how bad behavior is easily repeated if we are not conscious of their signs, since these are can not only be present in people with bad social and moral behavior, but also in our interactions and how effective is our support in this community.

Uncomfortable creepy behavior in the Resus community that everyone needs to read up on

“Guys just can’t control themselves when they get horney”  Weird how girls can isn’t it? This is a stereotype, it is not a joke, it is not funny, it excuses crappy male behavior and writes it off as something that is not bad or learned or unhealthy and abusive behavior. IT IS SOME MYSOGANISTIC BULLSHIT AND MUST STOP  Guy: I like this  Me: I’m sorry I’m not into that  Guy: oh well maybe you haven’t tried it we can try it anyway  This is gas lighting, its a text book abusive behavior, if someone says “I don’t like this” then you go “ok we won’t do that” and if you’re not compatible with someone’s likes and dislikes its ok. If you’re so desperate for connection with someone that you don’t get that then consider you may be doing something to freak people out which is creepy behavior that needs to stop. If you see someone doing this it should be a major red flag that you’re dealing with an abuser  1st message:  “Hey wanna rp?”  or  “I’m doing this to your body…etc”  Firstly, fuck off I am not your sex object I am a human being. If that’s not enough said for you consider the internet may not be for you. See the first scenario- learn self control. If you can’t because of a neurological disorder, this may not be a safe place for you, you may want to not be around any more. Find a different outlet, sorry if that’s mean but I have ADD and I have no problem controlling myself when I’m horney around a cute guy or girl, because society doesn’t tell women “oh l.o.l. you can just be that way because that’s how you are.” You post lewd photos you must want to trade photos or do an in person meet up  I post photos for me, for my self confidence, because I liked how I looked that night while I was enjoying resus and I wanted to share that with other people. Not as an advertisement, I’m not a prostitute I’m not here for your sexual enjoyment I’m here for mine (I appreciate the photos of the equipment that have been posted and I’ve been tagged in or gotten privately, that’s an ok way to flirt and completely consensual I just wanted to clarify because I got a lot of those and I laughed because I totally didn’t expect it and it was ok)  related to the above:^^^ 1st like 5 messages  Do you have skype/kik?  You’re hunting for photos/videos, you’re not smart everyone knows what you’re doing, stop.      I’m so sorry all the other guys are assholes  This comes from a good place, but it honestly doesn’t mean shit because people say this and then turn around and do it. I know “not all men” but honestly you need to step back and think about how you talk to people. Idgaf this is a sex community, it is not a sexual assault community, and just by being “the nice guy” doesn’t do anything, it’s a sign of messiah syndrome and it’s also a major red flag to controlling abusive behavior.

Me: I asked them to leave and they did  Person: Well I need to know to protect the community  No you don’t, I got this a lot after my first creep left when I asked them to. No one is responsible for protecting the community, we all have a role and it starts with looking in the mirror and going “do I do this?”  I need everyone to share this, I need everyone to read it and I need anyone else who sees creepy behavior that I’ve missed to list it, it will stop.
