New memory!

■ So, im a Na'vi, specifically one from a vast desert - and before yesterday I had like no other info than that!

■ A memory came to me as I was swimming (which is weird ik) and I was VERY shifty while swimming - despite needing to be very aware of what was going on ( :'( )

■ I remembered: swimming with various trees around me (though they were few and far between) as I was in a huge oasis surrounded by hut-like domes that I assume my people lived in!

■ I'm glad I have more information about where I used to live and the people I used to live with, even if it was just a small flash of my past!

Dating and non-humanity

■ SO, I recently broke up with my human partner - something that was a long time coming.

■ I think a large part of our separation was their inability to really accept my non-humanity as a human, and while this may seem like a small snag really, my non-humanity affects me daily and is a serious experence to me.

■ Their lack of understanding and lack of taking my identity seriously really hurt to be honest.

■ I'm so many things, and I've lived so many lives - leaving me with some odd habits and wanting to express them and talk about them.

■ Sadly, talking about my non-humanity was taboo with them, and this just doesn't feel right. If I have a partner, I want to be able to be authentically me - and that includes my want to be a personal android assistant, increase my hoard, and make dens.

■ I think some time alone will help me figure out what I want, but I know so far I want to be with another non-human. It'd feel wrong to be with someone who doesn't understand.

Alterhuman Survey

I have finally completed it! Please reblog and share this elsewhere, I am trying to get as wide of a dataset as possible.

It will most likely take most of you less than ten minutes to answer these questions and could put together such a big picture of our wonderful community together. Knowledge is power after all and I know if I (at thirteen) had known about the demographics of this community back then I wouldn’t have felt so isolated and alone in my identity.

I may over the next couple of months do some more follow up work on this survey before publishing the results. Potentially try to interview some folk and gain some more in depth insights. I think it’s long overdue that someone took on a project of this scare within the alterhuman community.

poob is rolling back its DEI initiatives. poob fired all of its employees after they tried to unionize. poob's ceo was recently on david sperm's podcast saying that he thinks women are the same as dogs to him. but poob is the only service that has candyworld chronicles on it so its really hard to just stop using it :/
