So, I've recently been doodling in a sketchpad, looking through fairytale books, and just trying to get some marks on paper.

This rough doodle (1st image) started out as a pen sketch (2nd image).

I overshaded with the pink pen, tried to save it with the black, and messed up with that too! I decided to scan it instead and see what I could do with it...

The fabulous @lucyluton recently debuted some printed copies of her story, Troll, at the Luton Literature Author and Illustrator Fair.

Following some printing issues on the day, people were given the chance to decorate their own front covers. Here's a somewhat cutesified design that I came up with :D

I highly recommend giving Troll a read! It's funny, dark at times, and very reflective about the often grim ways in which people behave when given "permission" from others 💛
