because I've seen a couple posts like this recently:

Do not be discouraged if you see someone with the same idea for a fic as you! Because that's what we want--the same exact stories, over and over, through the unique lens of each writer! That's the beauty of fanfiction: you can read the same story, slightly to the left, as many times as possible!

So please, post that fic that has the same premise as someone else. Write your version of it, and rest assured knowing that at the very least, one person will be delighted to find the same kind of story as one they just finished!

see writing is funny because sometimes you have to google things like “can the human body survive with every rib broken” and other times you have to google things like “is there an ikea in manhattan???”

When someone dies, the afterlife they go to is determined by WHERE they died. Dying in Scandinavia sends the soul to Valhalla or Hel, but dying in Greece lands them in Hades, and so on. You have just died in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

El Lobo was so fucking good.

His first scene was seriously iconic. I actually felt a little shiver of menace, and I am a grown adult. They just brought this intimidation to him instantly, with the whistle and his deep growl and the way they illuminated his eyes.

The way he kicked Puss' ass but kept encouraging him to grab his sword.

The way he growled corre, corre, gatito.

And the coins on his eyes later.

You know. Ferryman of the dead.

The way he fights with the twin hooks, and he combines them into a double ended scythe.

Oof. Seriously epic.

And when puss defeats him too is iconic on its own.

Truly a spectacular villain.
