        After a big win, Nora often finds herself at the bar just around the corner from her swanky uptown office. It’s not the usual sort of place the upper echelons would retreat to --- a dive amongst the glitz and glamour of the usual Upper East Side haunts. But it’s familiar and the bartenders know her by name now --- perhaps she does a bit too much celebrating. Perched upon a bar stool, she motions to the bartender for another round, before nodding towards the person beside her. “And one of whatever they’re having too.” She’s in a good mood --- today was a victory. It’s time to spread the wealth.

( Olivia Munn, Cisfemale, She/Her. ) ♛ Isn’t that Nora Steele? The 36 year old criminal defense attorney is unmistakable. She has a reputation for being resourceful and strong-willed, but also calculating and competitive. There’s a reason they call her the Chessmaster of the jet set, after all. 

hello everyone! i’m super excited to be here with you all. i’m liz & under the cut is some more info about my bb nora. i’m still working to flesh her out, so what i have is a bit bare bones right now!  if anyone is interested in plotting, give this post a like or hit me up in the ims ! @jetsetstarters

nora comes from a long line of attorneys. her father and her father’s father both made their name ( and fortunes ) specializing in the defense of white-collar criminals --- & nora is no exception to this, finding her specialization in the same niche field. 

most expected nora to follow in her mother’s footsteps however, as just another piece of socialite arm candy, but the girl has drive & determination. 

nora is the youngest of three siblings. she has two older brothers who both did not follow in the family path of entering the legal field. one is a stockbroker and the other is a filmmaker. both are successful, but nora knew that someone had to take up the family mantle --- & she hungered for it. 

nora’s got a reputation as a shark. if you’re in hot water, come to her ( and cut her a big, fat check) and she’ll work her hardest to get you off, scot-free 

because of her workaholic tendencies, her social life is definitely lacking --- something which bothers her mother to no end. she wants grandchildren from nora ( or at least a fabulous wedding at the plaza so she can show off to all her friends ), but settling down isn’t in nora’s plans anytime soon. 

she spends too many nights at her cushy office --- & after a big win, too many nights at the bar around the corner. her apartment gets barely any use ( which is a shame, its gorgeous ) 

some would assume she’s kept up at night, plagued with guilt over some of the verdicts she’s brought about, over some of the awful people she’s helped get away with their crimes --- but as far as she sees it, everyone has the right to a defense, and if she’s hired? it’s going to be the best damn defense.
