In Gaza, we don’t count days we count bombings, hunger, and the hours without food. Children ask, “Why isn’t there anything to eat?” My mother fainted from hunger. Electricity is gone, water is undrinkable, and bread is a dream.
People are dying not just from bombs, but from starvation. This is real. This is now.
How long? How long will we be treated as if we don’t exist? We don’t want pity we just want to live. To breathe, to eat, to sleep without fear, without warplanes, without bodies, without tears.
