Best of... It's a new year. There are plenty of things about last year that were forgettable. I really hope the worst is behind us. Some resolutions: live below my means, invest!!! (in the market, in my health, and in my mental wellbeing), enjoy the kids (they will be gone before you know it), and lastly... never stop learning. This is week 17: JAX/IND: Colts smash. If all the favorites win, Colts are still out. GB/CHI: Cheese to cover. Big Mitchie plays for his career. Over? DAL/NYG: Cowboys to win. They are the best of the worst and still might not make it. Under is the play. PIT/CLE: Steelers to cover. Browns have the VID. MRudolph revenge? Also playing for his career. TEN/HOU: Titans smash. Texans spent it all LW and lost to Cincy.  NO/CAR: Saints to win. I could see a kitty backdoor cover. NYJ/NE: Jets to win. The smart man would pass on this, the bettor likes +180. MIN/DET: Vikes to win. Lions are already done. ATL/TB: Bucs to win. Falcons D to keep Brady in till the 3rd quarter. BAL/CIN: Ravens take care of business vs "Paper Tigers". MIA/BUF: Bills to win. But don't need it. Might be resting. Under is preferred.  LAC/KC: Champs will rest, but still win. Pass. SEA/SF: Seattle to win. I feel like the number is inflated. Niners cover 7. LV/DEN: Donkeys to win. Vegas has no motivation at all here. AZ/LAR: Cards to win. Goff to sit. CAkers to "Try". WAS/PHI: WAS to win. Smith to start. Godert and Sanders to sit. Under is worth a look here. Best movie goes to Greyhound. Best movie based on a comic goes to The New Mutants. I have not seen Wonder Woman. Best shows: Star Trek: Discovery, and The Wilds. Best stocks: TSLA, and ZM. Best book I read was called "Your Money or Your Life" by J Dominguez, MTifford, and VRobin. Best Jam was Up All Night by Khalid. Hopeyalikedit.

Home for the Holidays I had a beautiful Christmas Vacation and visit to NorCal with the family. Stayed in Mill Valley in a sweet vacation rental. It had a hot tub. I have a hot tub in my community that has been cold since March. I really miss that. Bubble baths are nice... but not the same. Santa failed on coming with the PS5 I asked for. Too many elves out with Covid.  This is week 16: MIN/NO: Saints smash. Kamara with 6 TDs for Team Brennan. Merry Xmas! TB/DET: Bucs to win. I could see resting the elders after pulling away late. AZ/SF: Cards to cover. Niners are home for the holidays already, as they proved last week. MIA/LV: Vegas to cover. Even though they are done and have failed to cover in four straight. Over might be sharper. DEN/LAC: Chargers to win. Broncos have thrown in the towel. CLE/NYJ: Jets to cover. Coming off their first W. They proved the players don't care about draft order. CIN/HOU: Texans win. Cincy D hurt me big last week. ML this one. IND/PIT: Colts to win. Steelers O-line looked O-L-D. CHI/JAX: Bears need it. Can't trust Big Mitchie enough to lay points.  CAR/WAS: Kitties with the upset. CMC was an upset for my squad, upsetting me weekly. NYG/BAL: Ravens to win. I would prefer under to laying points. ATL/KC: Champs to win. I would take points and assume this is our SB. LAR/SEA: Lambs to win. They were caught looking ahead to this game LW.  PHI/DAL: Philly to win. Oooh it Hurts... to watch this division. Pass. TEN/GB: Cheese to win. Love the over. Check the forecast for snow before betting that. Money is all over the Titans because they need it more. Might pass this one too. BUF/NE: Bills to flex. They have not been this much of a favorite in NE since 1993. I will be back next week with silly week 17 plays and best of the year awards. Hopeyalikedit.

Playoffs??? I would like to start off by apologizing to the teams that got locked this year if you did not make the playoffs. Ususally in the money league we play a consolation bracket. This year I did not. If this is you and you are miffed, please message me and we will work you into the friendly league. This is week 14. NE/LAR: Rams smash. CAkers is the add. I failed to start for CMC, so as usual Thursday night regrets. GB/DET: Pack to smash. Lions are having fun again, so I'll bet the over. 44-20 final. TEN/JAX: Titans to smash. Love the over. These teams will score at will. DAL/CIN: Ginger revenge game. Cincy's team was thin with JoeB. AZ/NYG: Giants to win. They are the poor man's Rams. Cards are a lucky bomb away from losing 5 straight.  HOU/CHI: Bears to win. Now super desperate. DWats has no one left to throw to. No Fuller, no Cooks, Keke is the add. DEN/CAR: Kitties to win. Massive let down spot for Denver. MIN/TB: Tampa to win. I don't think they cover. Considering over. KC/MIA: Chefs to win. Tua pulling the start has me leaning under.  IND/LV: Colts to win. Vegas so lucky last week. Should have lost to the Jets. Over is the play. NYJ/SEA: Seattle to smash. Call it fading non-conference road teams. ATL/LAC: Birds to win. I should fade them too. How many times can the Chargers have the wrong number of guys on the field for the punt team this game? NO/PHI: Saints to win. Under is play here. Two back-up QBs that would rather run.  WFT/SF: Niners to win. Taking points with WTF. Shanahan revenge? ASmith revenge? Under is preferred. PIT/BUF: Bills to win. 3rd game in 12 days for PIT. Wind, cold, and the drops has me worried about Ben. BAL/CLE: Browns to win. They ready this time. For the shot at $ who ya got? Dobbins or KHunt? Hopeyalikedit.

Side Hussle My older son has a lot of motivation. When he wants something. He has started cleaning yards around the neighborhood for cash. This year he bought himself a new mountain bike and last week, a new gaming computer. I gave him his Xmas present early (the monitor) and he is in heaven... but now has little motivation to do anything but gaming. No you cannot take your meals in front of your computer. This is week 13: DET/CHI: Bears to win. They are desperate. Lions to cover with the post coach bump. CIN/MIA: Fish to win. Tease this number down. IND/HOU: Colts to win. Lots of health issues with the Colts. O-line is hurt, D-line has the Vid. DWatson due for a dud especially without Fuller. JAX/MIN: Vikes to win. Tease this down. LV/NYJ: Raiders to win. Booker is the add. Spread is too high for a team that lost by 40 last week. NO/ATL: Birds to win. Revenge spot here. Julio is ok! Under is the play. CLE/TEN: Browns to win. Heavy run games has me leaning under. NYG/SEA: Seahawks to win. Colt McCoy gets the rock for the G-Men. Could be a beat down. LAR/AZ: Lambs to win. Winners of 7 of their last 9. Murray's health is still a question. PHI/GB: Cheese to win. Over is better than laying points. NE/LAC: Pats must win. Big coaching mis-match. DEN/KC: Chefs to win. Donkeys are 2-20 at home in Dec. Adding points together from the last 3 meetings you get Chefs:96, Donkeys: 25. WAS/PIT: Steelers to win. Tease this down. Ben's health has me worried. Snell is the add. BUF/SF: Bills to win. I would pass on betting this one and root for the under. DAL/BAL: Ravens to win. Lamar will start. Dobbins will prove himself a league winner. Hopeyalikedit.

Thanks Yet another year of T-Day football is behind us. I was lucky enough to get to visit my Cali Fam. This time my brother and I explored Nevada City and the town of Colfax. We took a trip down to the Bear River with his husky named Sky. Had the best dinner at Tofanelli's in Grass Valley. So good, and dog friendly. This is week 12: HOU/DET: Texans win. Fuller had himself a day. Both for and against me. WAS/DAL: WFT wins! No one cared. Lost with the under. LV/ATL: Vegas to win. With no Julio or Gurley, we floundering. AZ/NE: Cards to win. Pats are slowly fading out. NYG/CIN: G-Men to win and cover. I think Burrow was holding the offense together with silly string. He is done done. CLE/JAX: Browns to win. Bake show to show some offense in better weather, as the Jags give the rock to Glennon. CAR/MIN: Vikes to win. Over 49 is playable. TEN/IND: Titans to S/U win. ML this to wease the juice. LAC/BUF: Chargers with the upset. Love the over in this play. MIA/NYJ: Jets to cover, Tua is out. Fitzmagic gets the rock. NO/DEN: Denver to cover. I think Saints are in a let down spot here. Unless they surprise them with Jameis. SF/LAR: Niners to cover. Too many points for the Lambs, they don't play for the blowout. KC/TB: Champs to win. Even in this flat spot with Brady pissed. CHI/GB: Cheese to win. Big Mitchie gets the rock back from Big Dick. Weather is keeping me from laying a ton of points... but has me thinking under. SEA/PHI: Love the Seahawks in this one. Carson is back, finally. Will it be in time to save my team? BAL/PIT: I had the Steelers ML and the under but that has been voided at this point. Hopeyalikedit.

Little League Championship Chase's JJV baseball squad: The Lions, made the championship game. He played well and had an RBI single. The team came up short in the end but the game was super exciting and we brought home new hardware. The baseball season continues with hopes that he will stick with it and be "fed" into the high school team.  This is week 11: AZ/SEA: Seahawks to win. I had the above Championship. PHI/CLE: Eagles to cover in the rain. Under is preferred. Ertz is the add. ATL/NO: Birds to win. THill gets the rock. Hill is 10/18 passing in 3 years in the NFL. That had me jumping on the under. DET/CAR: Lions to win. So many injuries. Golladay out. Swift out. Amendola out. Bridgewater is a GTD. CMC still MIA. NE/HOU: Pats to win. Not burying the hoodie yet. Adds are Harris and Meyers. PIT/JAX: Steelers to smash. I worry they might let off the gas late looking ahead to T-Day. GB/IND: Cheese to win. ML to wease the juice. CIN/WAS: Cincy to win. Gio is the start. Under is the play. TEN/BAL: Ravens to win by a FG, so taking points in this one. DAL/MIN: Vikes smash. Might tease. Ginger returns. Over with Dallas scraping up some points here. MIA/DEN: Fish to win. 26-20 final. NYJ/LAC: Jets to cover. Still can't trust LAC (of) coaching. Anyone give a haircut like that, you know he's an a$$hole. KC/LV: Heavy revenge spot for KC. Raiders drove the bus around Arrowhead in week 5 shouting insults after winning. Andy Reid off the bye. Still would rather take the over than lay points. LAR/TB: Bucs to win. Under is preferred. Hopeyalikedit.

The Vaccine 90% effective is what I hear. Zoom took a dive. I cashed out with double my investment. Know when to fold 'em. I know I should invest and weather the storms, so I put it in something less volatile. I went with some kind of fruit company.  This is week 10. IND/TEN: Indy wins. I rooted against Henry. He did not score. CIN/PIT: PIT to win. Super windy! Taking points and looking under. Might even bench Ben. WAS/DET: Lions to win. AP revenge game. HOU/CLE: Browns to win. Dirty Landry/Hooper are the adds. Another super windy! So much for the adds. Looking under. JAX/GB: Cheese to win. One last super windy! Taking points and under. PHI/NYG: Philly to win. Giants are winless in their last 16 if you take out wins vs WFT. TB/CAR: TB to win. CMC out. Tease! My team is now ALL second stringers. Taking points as Bridgewater 22-5 ATS. DEN/LV: Vegas to win. Possibly taking points, leaning over. BUF/AZ: Bills to win. JAllen's Gma passing really helped his passing. Much to the chagrin of my ticket LW. AZ might be the better team but this is trappy. Over is better than the side. SEA/LAR: Seattle to win. If they had beat the Bills LW I would have gone with the Rams. Blame the Gma. Live betting the over if the Rams score first. SF/NO: Saints are the team to beat when healthy. Niners are the opposite of healthy. Still taking points. BAL/NE: Ravens to smash. Final score 30-13. LAC/MIA: Fish to win. Chargers dealing with questionable coaching. Over is the play. MIN/CHI: Bears to win. Not much faith in this one or Big Dick Nick at all. Hopeyalikedit.

Desperate Cheeto New POTUS! Old POTUS to get salty and demand a recount. No blue wave to surf this time, so stocks should be steady. Now lets work on opening to 100% occupancy so I can go back to work! I don't hate the downtime. I get to go to Cali twice in the next two months. Zero complaints from me. This is week 9: GB/SF: Pack smash. I lost with the under. SEA/BUF: Seahawks to win. DeeJay Dallas is the add. Too bad it's not the Cowboys this week, coulda been DeeJay does Dallas. DeeJay does Buffalo doesn't have the same ring. DEN/ATL: Birds to win. Ridley is out so I am leaning under. CHI/TEN: Bears to cover. 24-21 final. DET/MIN: Vikes to win. Stafford is in so go over the total. DCook put up an Al Bundy on/for me last week! lol. BAL/IND: Ravens to win. Under 47. Fire up Dobby this week as he topped 100 yards LW finally taking over as lead back. CAR/KC: Champs to win. Kitties cover DDs. HOU/JAX: Texans smash. Seeing what we have in Gluten-free. Immobility is my guess. NYG/WAS: WFT to win. Under is my preferred play here. Snoozy. LV/LAC: Vegas to win. Jacobs is in but he's sick and hurt, that and weather has me leaning under. PIT/DAL: Steelers smash. No Dak. No Ginger. No Nooch. Dallas signing guys off the street to play QB. 4th stringer now. Good luck man, you win the Kathy Ireland award TW. (She plays the female kicker in Necessary Roughness, so you know.) MIA/AZ: Cards to win. I miss you Chase Edmonds! Going under rather than laying more than 3. NO/TB: Tompa Bay to win. Taking points with the Saints. NE/NYJ: Pats to win. Boos to the scheduling gurus on this one. Feeling like the wonderful Sunday night visit to the dentist of PHI/DAL all over again. Starting DHarris and taking under 42.5. Hopeyalikedit.

Halloween Hangover Halloween falling on a Saturday this year made for an exxtra spooky evening. We hit our neighborhood. There were a lot of un-manned bowls due to the virus. The kids loved those houses the best. Don't worry, we used alcohol wipes on all the candy we took in. Then we started season 1 of The Walking Dead. This is week 8. ATL/CAR: Birds win! I had the Thursday night fantasy regrets, and a little league game. IND/DET: Colts to win. Under 49.5 is my play in this one. MIN/GB: GB -6.5 is my play. Under should be considered in heavy winds. NE/BUF: Bills to win. Under 40.5 is my play with heavy winds again. TEN/CIN: Titans to win. 35-25 final. LV/CLE: Raiders to win. Super windy here. Under should be in consideration. NYJ/KC. Champs smash. Bell revenge game. 34-10 final. LAR/MIA: Fish to win. It's Tua Time! Taking 3.5 here. PIT/BAL: Steelers to win. Taking 4 points here. NO/CHI: Saints to win. I want to lay 4 but I took under 41 instead. I hope it works out. SF/SEA: Niners to win. I wish I was getting 3. Over is very playable as well. LAC/DEN: Donkeys to win. Gordo revenge game. Under is my lean. DAL/PHI: Eagles to win. Can't lay DDs even with no Dalton. I dropped both Dallas WRs that I owned in fantasy. TB/NYG: Bucs smash. Tempted to lay DDs. Have not done so yet. Hopeyalikedit.

Early Voting I have never been more motivated to vote than this year. My state has made it easier than ever. My ballot came in the mail, I filled that thing out and mailed it back the next day. I try not to get political on the blog, or ever, but this year I feel particularly manipulated by our government over the virus. POTUS recovered in a weekend. Killa Cam did not turn into an actual Killa. He was back after a forced early BYE, same with all of the Titans. This is week 7. NYG/PHI: Philly to win. I lost because I laid points. CLE/CIN: Browns to win. Baker benched LW. I still like the over based on how they played each other last time. DAL/WAS: WFT to win. Under is the play. Still not trusting the ginger. Have the Boys turned on McCarthy already? DET/ATL: Lions win. I took the other team last week and we won. So this is the reverse Juju. Over is the play. CAR/NO: Kitties to cover. Best two WRs from the Saints are out. BUF/NYJ: Bills smash. I don't see a line high enough to make me want any part of the Jets. Under again with the Jets struggling so. GB/HOU: Cheese to win. AJones is a late scratch. JWilliams is the add. Over is the play here with the way the GB Def is constructed.   SF/NE: Pats to win. Sharps have bet this down from 5.5 to 3. So maybe I'm wrong here, but I see Niner woes continuing. I might just go under. KC/DEN: Champs to win. Snow is the forecast, so under is the play. TB/LV: TB to win. They have picked up ABrown. Raider O-line missed practice due to a positive covid test.  PIT/TEN: PIT to win. Difference is the D. I like the over but that might be because fantasy-wise I am riding with Rothlis-homie since the Dak injury. JAX/LAC: Chargers to steam-roll. Leaning under as these teams are not lighting up the scoreboard of late. SEA/AZ: Seahawks to win. Fresh legs after a non-forced week off. CHI/LAR: CHI to cover. I really don't like either side but I do like the under because of that fact. Hopeyalikedit.

Choptober I know I've said it before, but I love game sevens. It is my version of must see TV. Especially when one of my teams is playing. Yes baseball. Yes the Braves. I feel shorted by 100 games this season. I am happy with what we got all things considering. If you were considering a last minute birthday suggestion, I would love a win tonight from the Braves. This is NFL week 6. CHI/CAR: Kitties to win. Bears strategy of waiting and praying for a 4th Q miracle seems thin. DET/JAX: Lions to win. Under is the play on this snoozer. ATL/MIN:  Vikes to win. Ugh. Can I please get a post coach bump? Ice has looked pedestrian. HOU/TEN: Titans to win. Texans got their PCB last week. This is the divisional speed bump they always get slowed on. WAS/NYG: WFT to win. Loved the pan to ASmith's wife every time he got sacked last week. He was literally running for his life? Smith will not start today. CLE/PIT: Steelers to win. I question the health of Baker. This should be more like -7. BAL/PHI: Ravens to win. I question the health of Jackson. This should be more like -3.  CIN/IND: Colts to win. I prefer the under to laying points here. GB/TB: Cheese to win. Brady getting old. What down is it? 4th sir. I don't know how motivating his sideline explosion will be going forward. NYJ/MIA: Miami to win. Fish blowing out bad teams. Weather might be a factor. So again under is preferred to laying points.  DEN/NE: Pats to win. The convenient covid BYE for NE helps them tremendously. Cam is back. Lock is back. Gordo has a DUI. Join the club. LAR/SF: Rams to win. Niners in disarray. AZ/DAL: Cards to win. Little trust in the ginger. KC/BUF: Champs to win. They have LBell now. Another convenient schedule change for the NFL. Both teams coming off their first loss. Gotta go over. Hopeyalikedit.

Tuesday Football BUF/TEN to be played Tuesday night. I don't remember ever having Tuesday Football before. Using the virus to your advantage. NFL is stoked for extra prime time coverage. I like Bills to win and JAllen to shine. Covid Negativity: DEN/NE is PPD until Oct 17th. So Saturday football in extra prime time coverage. I will take the under if no Killa Cam when and if this game happens. This is week 5: TB/CHI: Bears upset the Bucs. I had Bucs D. They were disappointing. CAR/ATL: Birds to win. Desperation mode. LV/KC: Taking points here. I will lean to the under with heavy winds and run game. LAR/WAS: Rams win. Taking the under in this one. Reasoning: Bad weather, 3 headed run game in LA, pace of game, and KAllen getting the rock for WAS.  JAX/HOU: Texans get first win with Romeo taking the clipboard in this one. AZ/NYJ: Cards 2 smash. Flacco gets the rock and won a SB 20 years ago! Desperation mode! Bell coming back and Flacco's age have me leaning under. PHI/PIT: Steelers to cover. Extra time off has me seeing Wentz on his back again and playing under. CIN/BAL: Taking points here. Divisional matchup and BAL has under-preformed.  MIA/SF: Niners win. Jimmy G is back. Is he really an upgrade? Under is preferred to laying points. NYG/DAL: Cowboys pull away late. Laying the wood. IND/CLE: Browns win. CLE will establish the run. Under is the stronger play. MIN/SEA: Seattle to win and over being preferred to laying points. Vikes are trending up. SEA D is thin. LAC/NO: Saints and the over. Try not to overthink it. Hopeyalikedit.

The Virus Strikes POTUS has caught the virus. That is pretty big. Stocks are down. So are the Titans and Killa Cam. PIT/TEN  game is rescheduled to later in October. NE/KC game is currently in limbo. If you are playing fantasy this can seriously impact your team. Hopefully your commissioner has given you a deep bench. I will try to include plays/pick-ups to help your squad this week. This is week 4: DEN/NYJ: Donkeys win. I lost with the under. IND/CHI: Big Dick Nick get the rock. Much to the chagrin of my team last week. I will lay 3 with the Colts, pick up M. Alie-Cox, and play ARob with confidence. NO/DET: I like the Saints minus 4.5. Defense in NO is hurt. LMurray is a sneaky play. Over 54 is also possible. AZ/CAR: Cards to win. Under seems playable. Bridgewater just seems like a back-up.  JAX/CIN: Lean to Cincy. Soft pass. CLE/DAL: Dallas has been great on first downs. Once Dallas takes the lead they won't look back. Pick up MIN/HOU: Texans -4.5 is my play. Minny couldn't practice. Their defense is so bad. HOU schedule has been so rough. SEA/MIA: Russ Can Cook! This game feels like a trap. Pick-up and start Fitzmagic if you are in need at QB. I am taking points with caution. LAC/TB: Under 43 is my play here. TB is hurt on offense. Play your damn Gronk. BAL/WAS: Ravens smash. Start all Ravens with confidence. I almost like laying DDs. NYG/LAR: Rams have looked super efficient. Giants have looked JV. Pace of game has me worried about DDs but has me leaning under 53. BUF/LV: Bills seem pretty strong. Diggs was the greatest addition to this team. Start Renfroe as the deep options for Vegas are thin. PHI/SF: Give me the Niners -7. Philly has been outscored by an average of 36 points in the second half this season. Huge list of adds from the Niners. JWilson is my favorite. ATL/GB: Birds +7. Ugh. Not Quinning!!! Quoosing!!! Pick up MVS and RTonyan if you need help at WR. Hopeyalikedit.

Home School School is different to say the least this year. We were given chrome books and now have class at home. I have sat in on class a number of times and get to see how opposite my children are. It has been interesting. I can see and hear the instructor struggling to get kids to log on and turn stuff in. So far the grades are good. This is week 3: MIA/JAX: Fish win. I skipped. LV/NE: I like Pats to win. Hoodie! Where do you get these wonderful toys? LAR/BUF: Bills have been solid. I will lay 2.5. HOU/PIT: I like the Steelers here. Texans can't run. Fuller is ghost made of glass. SF/NYG: Niners limping into this one. They must be grateful to see the wimpy G-Men. I will lay points here.  TEN/MIN: Vikes have just looked awful. I can't back them at all. Total at 50, I look under. WAS/CLE: Taking points with WFT. I like the under here too. CIN/PHI: Cincy D is so poor. I lean to Philly but could see them losing. CHI/ATL: Holy melt-down Batman! I haven't felt so let down since... (shudders) Laying points and crossing fingers. NYJ/IND: Colts over Jets. Skip double digits though... ugh. Defense is legit!  CAR/LAC: Team Doctor punctures QB1's lung! What? Gimme the Kitties plus points. DET/AZ: Lions have led by 10 twice and lost both games. I see them 0-3 after this game. TB/DEN: Taking points here. Call it desperation. Home Field is real here. DAL/SEA: Taking points here too. Over 57 seems big. GB/NO: I like the Cheese. Sharps like the Saints. Brees is checked out mentally. Both WR1s are gone. Scoring will be down. KC/BAL: Champs and the over. Hopeyalikedit.

The Growth With the virus costing me my job, I was was worried my insurance would run out. That is a scary feeling. I had my wellness check-ups and that included a colonoscopy. Well they found something. So I had it cut out. I had a four night stay at the hospital. It has cost me about $1000 in just co-pays. My first experience on morphine. Imagine angels licking the insides of your veins... annnd the good news, the growth comes back benign!!! This is week 2: CIN/CLE: Dumb KHunt was the play. I also had a win with a backdoor cover. LAR/PHI: I like the Eagles here. Rams got lucky, as did the WAS FBT. I am concerned about the amount of time Wentz has spent on his back so far. Hurt O-line. CAR/TB: Taking points here. Godwin is out. Might sprinkle a little ML on the Kitties. DEN/PIT: Riding PIT to win. Under is also getting some love.  ATL/DAL: Taking points. Birds showed flashes of what we can do. Now lets do it. Over is playable because our D just can't keep up. SF/NYJ: Jets looked pretty bad. SF will be pissed. Under is better than laying a TD. Kittle is out. Crowder is out. BUF/MIA: Bills to win. Again I prefer the under to laying points. MIN/IND: Colts dominated and still lost. Minny showed rust. Colts and over is where I sit. NYG/CHI: Giants to SU win. Dimes over Big Mitchie. Both clunkers, making the under is playable. JAX/TEN: Titans to win. This game opened at 11. Now down to 7.5. I call that public overreaction. WAS/AZ: I won with AZ last week, and lost vs WAS. That makes me want to bet AZ even more, yet I have a hard time laying 7. BAL/HOU: Ravens to win. I like the over in this game as well. KC/LAC: Chargers looked waaay too conservative to keep up. Champs are 14-2 ATS in their last 16. NE/SEA: Pats to win. Riding the hoodie. Playing the 12th man tonight: a large cloud of smoke. NO/LV: Taking points. Our first home game. Beavis and I are going to bang on the doors of the Death Star and scream: "DON'T BE TOO PROUD OF THIS TECHNOLOGICAL TERROR YOU'VE CONSTRUCTED!!!" Hopeyalikedit.

The Cheese Welcome back!!! I hope you had a great off-season. Mine was different. My Government shut down my place of business and then put rules in place so my company would not be able to bring me right back. The Government sent cheese as retribution. I invested some of said cheese in something called Zoom. So far so good on that. This is NFL week 1. HOU/KC: Champs smash. I lost with the under. MIA/NE: Pats win under the strength of the hoodie. I like the under 41.5 because both of these offenses are kinda fresh off the boat. CLE/BAL: Ravens win a close one. Might take points with CLE. Prefer the under 47.5. Call it lack of pre-season this time. NYJ/BUF: Bills win by 3. Love the under 39.5 here. Call it 18 MPH winds. LV/CAR: Kitties win by 3. Gruden is not big on conditioning. I don't think they will be tackling by the 4th quarter. SEA/ATL: Dirty Birds win by 3. If I was a teaser guy I could catch +8.5. I could see a 26-23 total. PHI/WAS: Eagles win. Barely. Philly RB Sanders is out. Prefer under 42.5 to laying points. CHI/DET: Lions win and cover. WR Golladay is out. Under is the re-occurring theme. I say prove otherwise first. IND/JAX: Colts smash. I don't have any faith in the Jags. Under 45 is the play. Slodgey is a word I've made up to describe this game. GB/MIN: Cheese win. ML that juice. Under 46.5 is my lean here too. LAC/CIN: Clippers to win. I think the Nuggets have given up. AZ/SF: Niners to win. Worried about air quality. Considering taking points. TB/NO: NO wins by 3. Brees already talking retirement. Mike Evans is looking limited. This is one of three games I like the over in. DAL/LAR: Cowboys win in a shootout. This is the last game I like the over in. PIT/NYG: Steelers smash. I imagine the scene in Necessary Roughness when the team from jail steps off the bus to see their opponent has a female kicker. TEN/DEN: Denver to win with the altitude being their home field advantage. That's what I got. Hopeyalikedit.

The Championship Weekend Welcome back to the blog. It's a great weekend for fantasy football. Starting BPerriman rn and not crazy about what I see so far. Long weekend still. Star Wars 9 this afternoon. Can't wait for that. Work tonight. Then two more off days. Picking up a basketball hoop tomorrow. Nice! This is Week 16. Bucs over Texans. Need Perriman in the second half to rack up yards. Bills to cover at NE. This should be more like -3.5. Niners over Rams. Tease this down to a better number. Birds over Jags. Jags pulled out a crazy win last week, so did the Falcons. Saints over Titans. Brees likes the TD race. Giants over Redskins. Jones back in. Snoozy. Steelers over Jets. Bell revenge. But I think the Steelers are the ones who want to hurt him more. Fish over Bungles. Bungles don't want to play football at all. Colts over Kitties. Grier gets the rock for the Kitties. I don't believe he's NFL ready. Ravens over Browns. Browns look defeated. I would have sat OBJ too. Broncos over Lions. Lions looked pretty bad vs the Bucs. Chargers over Raiders. Snoozy. Eagles over Cowboys. OVER is much needed.Seahawks over Cards. Taking points as the Cards should be able to keep up. Chefs over Bears. Taking points here too. Gimmie some good football to close out the season. Pack over Vikes. -200 for that. Vikes RB1 is out. Kirk Cousins does not have a good record in prime time. Lets just keep Diggs out of the endzone. Best movie: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Best Book I read this year: Hell's Angels, by HST. Best show: I love the Mandalorian so far. Thanks for reading!!! Hopeyalikedit.
