Lestat & Louis interactions in ToTBT are so heartbreaking but also so insane & funny like.

Lestat is telling him he's gonna exchange bodies because he's suicidal and depressed & Louis tells him you were born a monster 🫵 out of nowhere??? Which he later regrets yes & they meet in the church very sweet

Then when they meet when Lestat is human and asking for help and explaining the hallucinations he had of their dead daughter and his paramour with a random nun & Louis refuses to help and tells him he needs to save his soul and his role in Lestat's salvation is to be his guardian angel that directs him to the right choice because delulu is the solulu

Then he leaves & Lestat has a full breakdown where he burns Louis' house except ☝️ for the paintings!!

And then they don't meet again until the end where they dig at each other, and decide to live together. The one thing they both have been wanting since the last book.
