My fresh test-build of ICM novelty – model of german half-track Sd.Kfz.251/6 Ausf.A in 1/35 scale.
Box contains 6 gray sprues with 324 details, clear frame with 10 details (in this model used only two headlight lenses), 4 details of black rubber (wheels & tracks), decal sheet and assembly guide.

Today I made test-build of new “Viking IX Century” figure in 1/16 scale by ICM manufacturer.
Box contains two sprues with 29 details for assembly one figure of a viking warrior and 3 details for stand assembly. Details has perfect quality.
You can give to Your viking an axe or a sword, as You wish Your majesty! 🙂 Also kit contains three arrows (You can stick their in the warrior shield).
Test-build gone very easy, without troubles. As You can see, i was used some quantity of modeling putty (at the seams between parts). I would also like to see a decal with shield graphics in this set.

In total, i think, this is very nice and dynamic figure. Highly recommended for all figure modelers.

Very outstanding dio “A Bad Day for Rudel” by Aitor Azkue (Bilbao, Spain).

HANS ULRICH RUDEL… the most condecorated Whermacht soldier, with 2530 combat missions, 596 tanks destroyed, the battleship “Marat” sunken, two smaller cruisers, nine enemy planes, 150 antiaircraft batteries, 70 landing craft, countless bridges, railway lines and hundreds of sunken military transport river boats, the latter in Stalingrad… and 30 times shot down by the enemy artillery and not by enemy fighters. (in one of these times his co-pilot during 1500 combat missions, Erwin Henschel, will die crossing a river… but not this time! That’s another story.
This vignette represets one of those shot downs in russian no mans land. They leave the plane quickly and cross a river escaping from the enemy, Rudel covering his co-pilot. For this work Jorge Grande, sculpted and painted me, from 2 figures of “Tommy’s war”, the two personal soldiers with their luftwaffe uniforms. An amazing work.

Today we open the box with three figures in 1/32 scale – VVS RKKA Pilots, 1939-42 (32102) by ukrainian manufacturer ICM.
Box-art is very nice and colourful, and much better than earlier figure box-arts by ICM, i think.
Box contains one sprue with 29 details for assembly three figures of soviet WW2 pilots and assembly/painting guide sheet.
Details are very nice quality, faces and uniform details reproduced very well.
Assembly/painting guide are no questions.

Кстати, подискутируем немного? У многих моделистов вижу следующий вариант окраски колес: беговая дорожка/протектор более темный, чем боковая поверхность шин. Но из личных наблюдений вижу совсем обратное: именно протектор выглядит светлее, чем боковые поверхности колеса. Особенно если машина “бегает” по грунтовым и пыльным дорогам. Что думаете по этому поводу?
