A mood today.
Sunday. I am searching for a connection to Nature, purity, purpose.
Today I've been listening to a lot of the Atmos podcast - 'The Nature Of' - very beautiful listening.
I am trying to carve paths, and habits and become more aligned and practice what I want to learn, my values, and become better at also being comfortable with myself and sharing my passion.
At the moment, I want to learn to control my consumption of content, information, news. Different things trigger new ideas, and I need to finish some first.
Today is so over whelming with how much is going on in the world. How does work last, ideas matter, how does craft stand, how can we make impact in such a fast paced world; this is all top of mind.
The contradictions of 'I made this for me', but 'made this for someone else', 'made this for a community', 'for an idea', 'for someone'.
I want it to feel like myself, but want to be of use, I want it to be engaged with and if ever possible, of use for the world. But perhaps none of this matters. It's our own drive and understanding for ourselves of why we made it. We don't have to justify it. We just don't want to get analytical about it, manipulative about it. Just needs to come from a place of pure heart and authenticity if possible.
I hope through practice, my practice, I can connect in a deeper way to these things I care about through things I'm doing.

Ismail Ferdous, Sea Beach
Colourful life at the beach: Cox's Bazar lies at the southernmost point of Bangladesh. It is a popular destination for many of the country's population, stretching along the Bay of Bengal. It is considered a cultural melting pot, where people from every walk of life and place in society search for a few moments of relaxation and recreation. Though he is currently based in New York, the photographer (born 1989) originates from Bangladesh, and returned to this special place to capture the beach goers and atmosphere in brilliant colours.

Fashion film by Melanie + Ramon draws inspiration from Chris Marker’s experimental 1962 French science-fiction movie La Jetée.
What drives my interest in fashion film is my interest in women and people to clothes. Not just clothes themselves.
