Greater stag beetle (Lucanus cervus)
Recently I have read about these insects, I love them so much

Their area of living is large! From North of Portugal (and some places in South Spain) to The middle latitude of Russia

Lucanus cervus have a visible sexual dimorphism, males are larger than females and have big mandibles. Also they have differences in behavior: males are more observed in flying, fighting, they have a more aggressive 'character', females like being on/in a ground and staying on trees.

By the way, their pupas look fascinating (as for me)! It looks like a coral or an unusual plant!

Greater stag beetles have an interesting life cycle: most of the life they live as larvae (for pupating they need from 3 to 7 years) and then live as adult creatures only few weeks

Unfortunately, they're in IUCN Red List, I hope we will see more individuals in their living areas (and even in cities) : ] Thanks for reading!! by the way, some artists love drawing them, beetles look silly : 3

It's named Bamboo by me But it's not a actual bamboo, it's a Dracaena sanderiana (or just dracaena). Its popular names are 聽ribbon dracaena,聽lucky bamboo,聽curly bamboo,聽Chinese water bamboo,聽Goddess of Mercy's plant,聽Belgian evergreen. People call this plant like this due to similar appearance to bamboo Bamboo was gifted me for my birthday by my godmother and her husband, I just recently have started doing something for it (fertilize, read about this plant and etc) , but I already see how much it feels better. It has new leaves and he became even greener, I'm glad that it's becoming happier and healthier, I love it so much
