ive been working on this not quite dead playlist since i started listening a couple months ago and now im sharing it on tumblr! its not very long but when im thinking of neige and alfie and even casper i shuffle this and let my mind wander hehe

includes songs that characters canonically like as well as songs i think theyd relate to! pretty emotional and powered by love

I remember it used to be that when I was editing Alfie and Neige together I'd get super self-conscious about it and extremely worried they just sounded like the same guy

one of the things that makes me feel really proud of my progress as a voice actor in specific is that I don't even worry about it any more. i still get self-conscious and worry about the quality of the performances but it never feels like I'm editing the same person

idk i just think that's neat!

the conversation at the end of NQD 50 has been written since the start of S2, though ofc it's been redrafted a bit since then

I remember when I was writing it I was worried about the emotiveness of Neige there, worrying that I wouldn't be able to pull it off, but it's one of those moments in this show that's just everything to me?

idk. it's always the little things. there's something about this moment, the quietness of it, the weight of everything both of those characters have been through. Alfie's so honest in his desperation here. Neige is so reluctant to meet him out there in that vulnerability.

I wrote it the same day as the day I wrote the bit where Alfie is listing everything Neige has strong negative feelings about with extraordinary irritation, jealousy, and a not insignificant amount of desire turned into something bitter.

I don't know why that's the place I go to look for them, but the last 2 haven't been added there.

I'm not sure why that's happening, and I don't have anything to do with how the RQ page works, but I'll flag it. I don't work at or for RQ; they just help me promote my work in exchange for a cut of my ad revenue.
