With Vlad's help, Tia and Lou have moved to a farm where they can be self-sufficient. They fall ever more passionately in love. Lou refuses to get a job, but Tia won't let Lou refuse to WORK, so he learns how to look after chickens and bees and grow vegetables. He finds that he is surprisingly capable.

With Tia's pregnancy advancing, Lou proposes. Tia can hardly believe it when the wedding day arrives, during the third trimester of her pregnancy.

The ceremony is attended by friends and family from both sides, and, though the vampires and werewolves are tense around each other, the ceremony is beautiful.

Then the full moon rises, and Lou transforms. Unable to contain his rage, Lou goes on the rampage, causing his horrified new family - and very pregnant bride - to faint.

How will they overcome this?

Tia Straud is sent by Vlad to Moonwood Mill to retrieve a family heirloom from his relatives. She meets her distant cousin, Lily, though the pair dislike each other (it's a vampire v werewolves thing). Then Tia meets her next door neighbour, Lou, who knocked up her half-sister and was a lazy good-for-nothing until Rose got fed up and left!

Tia is thoroughly miserable. She stares at an old portrait of her daddy and wishes she could go home.

Still, much as they dislike each other, a part of her enjoys spending time with Lou.

A very particular part of her.

They loathe each other, but passionately love each other, and soon Tia is expecting Lou's child.

Caleb's sire, the legendary Marybell 'Miss Hell' Smith, has returned to Forgotten Hollow.

Her roommate, Markus, has his own particular history with Caleb.

The gang piles around to Vlad's house - even the Vatore twins - and Vlad is thrilled to see his old friends again (even if they do have their frictions).

Caleb gets chatting to Vlad's now-teenage son, Oliver.

They visit Forgotten Hollow's little underground nightclub, and pop-star-turned-politician Rose turns up, and immediately befriends the group. Markus is starstruck and Vlad hasn't been this happy in ages.

"It's just like old days," Vlad remarks, before stealing Marybell away to rekindle old passions.

Aurelia Howell spent her toddler years in the tranquility of Windenburg, raised by her ambitious mother and distant grandfather. She was mostly left to her own devices. But, her scientist grandmother is lonely and can provide a better environment for her than her ever-absent parents. It’s time for Aurelia to move in with her grandmother, who can teach her scientific skills and get her closer to her dream: to one day go into space!

Rose is stressed, arriving home from work. She's being asked to stand in the forthcoming elections with Maia Goth as her running mate, and the pair get on well, but it's a lot of pressure and she feels barely ready.

Lou's being a surprisingly good daddy to feisty little Aurelia, but he won't take a job, he's a compulsive kleptomaniac, and is always off doing "werewolf stuff". Rose frequently comes home to find the house a mess and Aurelia unbathed.

Truth be told, Rose is a little scared of Lou sometimes when he's in his wolf form.

She loves him dearly, but has always known that it wouldn't last. Now with her work in Moonwood Mill ending, perhaps now it's time to come home.

Katrina has left Oliver, and taken the kids! Oliver rattles around the huge house alone.

Meanwhile, Rose's assignment at Moonwood Mill is taking a lot longer than anticipated, and as her pregnancy develops, she and Lou move into one of the cottages at Prowler's Patch village.

Lou doesn't hate the idea of being a father, but has no intention of getting a job. He confides in Rory, the leader of his pack, that he's not sure whether pampered, ambitious Rose will stick around a deadbeat like him for long.

At Moonwood Mill, Rose meets a mysterious stranger and is soon consumed with passion. She arranges to meet him again the following night, but is horrified to find the house on fire!

Rose is too late to save Lou, and looks on helplessly as the Reaper comes for his soul, but without considering how little she knows him, she pleads with Grim for Lou’s life, and her political skills pay off: Lou’s life is spared!

Lou is grateful to be restored to life, and settles down for a casual chat with Death.

Rose emerges from the shower to find Lou in human (and very pleasing!) form. She resolves not to let Lou out of her sight again! That’s it! She’s moving in!

Rose meets Vlad at the club, and before she can stop herself, she is asking after Tyler. He's fine, but he does miss her. Truth be told, she misses him, too, but she just wasn't ready to settle down with a vampire!

Rose is now three weeks into her internship at the mayor's office. She's becoming quite committed to Unite The World, though Ted is having her dig through mountains of paperwork to find land rights, and she can never be quite sure about his motives.

Still, he has ways of alleviating her boredom, and there might even be a promotion in it for her. "I'm a human man and I can't help noticing. It's almost as though you're flirting with me! We can't have any ... rumours. You'll go far in life, Rose. You're smart, and you know what you want, just like I know what I want." "Hmm." "I mean, you wouldn't have to ... do things ... to get ahead. You'd get ahead anyway." "I might *want* to do things." "Oh? But you wouldn't want it known that by doing things, you get ahead." "Of course not." "And I wouldn't want to get a reputation ... to be known for ... helping beautiful young ladies get ahead in any way other than honest hard work." "Of course not! You're a man of integrity!" "And you're a smart woman. So we can't have any rumours. Least of all ones that get back to my wife!" "Absolutely not! There will be no ... gossip. None of any kind." "I'm glad we understand each other." "So glad."

Rose had been with older guys before, but she was surprised how much she liked it with Ted. She would have to be bored in the basement again some time.

But first, he was sending her to Moonwood Mill to investigate the deeds of a parcel of land belonging to a local tribe that Ted believes really ought to return to the family fold.

Rose arrives at the "library". In scare quotes.

Geez, what a dump. There'd better be something here worth seeing.

Quick update: Judith Ward has an announcement to make! The Sims Got Talent mentor is pregnant, and the father is former contestant Jack Henford!

Jack and Judith have quietly eloped for an intimate Sulani beach ceremony.

Later, at the club, JJ told Rose how relieved he was that she didn't go through with the wedding.

Before they knew it, again, they were kissing.

Things got pretty heated after that, in the nightclub closet.

When JJ got home the following morning, he guiltily sat down at the breakfast table. With a heavy heart, he told Phoebe that things were over between them.

To his surprise, Phoebe was relaxed about it: they had been drifting apart for a while and she had been planning to break up with him herself.

JJ let her keep the little house in Willow Creek they had worked so hard to buy. Now he has to find a new place to live, and figure out his future, and what role Rose will play in it.

It's the morning of the wedding, and Rose and Tyler arrive with their families to the grand Von Haunt Estate.

Rose gives everything a final check. It's all perfect - but Rose can't shake the feeling that she's making a terrible mistake.

JJ looks furious with her for going through with the wedding.

The guests take their places, and Rose walks down the aisle, but when it comes to saying her vows, Rose can't bring herself to say the words.

She whispers to Tyler that she can't do it - she's going to call off the wedding.

"Oh great!" he says, sarcastically. "You couldn't have said all that YESTERDAY?"

They announce to the stunned guests that the wedding is off.

Rose returns home alone. She ought to feel terrible, but she feels freer and happier than she has done in months!

Rose wants a normal life, but Tyler is not a normal human being. He will remain young and immortal, while she grows old.

Of course, Tyler can turn Rose into a vampire, but that's not the life she wants, constantly hiding from sunlight and begging for blood.

As the wedding date approaches, she shops for a dress, but nothing looks right.

Even the plants bring her out in a rash when she searches for a bouquet!

She goes to the arcade to take her mind off things, and runs into JJ Henford, who is fast becoming her best friend.

As she confides in him, about her doubts, she finds herself kissing him.

Uh-oh! The cracks are showing for Rose and Tyler. Rose is greeting a potential new neighbour, and Tyler accuses her of flirting, and then vamps out and attacks the stranger! The pair are annoyed with each other for the rest of the evening.

Meanwhile, Rose is in a mood after finding out that her beloved father, Oliver, has impulsively married the much-older Katrina Caliente! She already has four children, including the grown-up Dina, who is married to Bella's brother Michael Bachelor and has a baby of her own! Rose wasn't even invited to the wedding, but when she angrily confronts her father by text message, Oliver tells her that he assumed she couldn't make it because she had been on tour.

Rose doesn't want a new stepmonster, but she hopes that the (hopefully brief) marriage will end quickly without hurting her daddy too much. Now Rose - an only child throughout her childhood - has to vie with three siblings for Daddy's attention, including her young step-brother, Colt, who is Katrina's son (father unknown!).

Still, bad moods aside, the newly-engaged pair sleep soundly in each other's arms that night.

As Rose embarks on her new pop star career, she moves into a beautiful apartment - but it doesn’t take long for her to become lonely in the massive skyscraper.

Rose invites Tyler to move in.

He’ll have to behave himself, of course, so he mixes up a Plasma Jane instead of nipping necks - I mean, next - door for a bite to eat.

It’s worth it, to Tyler, to finally fall asleep in his lover’s arms again.

On Love Day, he proposes, and Rose eagerly accepts.

They don’t even make it back to the apartment to celebrate their engagement.

SIMS GOT TALENT - GRAND FINALE

Rose and Tyler didn't realise that they were being filmed, and millions of viewers at home now know Malcolm Landgraab's grubby little secret.

After all their hard work, finalists Malcolm and Rose head to the theme park with their friends. Valeria thinks there's a terrible mistake and that sweet, thoughtful Malcolm couldn't *possibly* have been the one to ruin her chances in the competition. Even so, she agrees to watch Roses's drink when they go for lunch to make sure that nobody can tamper with it.

The following day, mentor Judith gives Rose some last-minute advice before the grand finale.

Malcolm isn't worried: his consistently high audience ratings lead him to believe it's a slam dunk. After all, there's no actual PROOF that he cheated his way into the final.

On the afternoon of the competition final, a glamorous group assembles at Studio BPB.

Rose sings a cover of 'Could It Be Magic' that is absolutely spellbinding. Even people who don't like Barry Manilow are blown away by that version. It is just, inarguably, perfect. It's obvious by two minutes in that by any decent measures she should have won.

Malcolm sings 'I Didn't Know My Own Strength', framing himself as an innocent victim of a grand conspiracy in which he was being blamed for the misfortunes of other contestants.

The audience goes wild and we can even hear the roar of approval of the crowd gathered outside the venue. Tyler flutters onto the stage to embrace Rose and nobody even tries to stop him.

It’s been a strange adventure, but this chapter of Rose’s life is over.

Time for the next to begin.

EPISODE SIX

Rose Mynt can hardly believe her luck as she settles into Judith Ward's extravagant mansion, with paparazzi lurking outside at all hours. She will be rehearsing for a gruelling nine hours a day, preparing for the semi-final, but she is thrilled to have secured the public vote in the previous round, when metal stars Iron Crown were eliminated after Carla Goth's on-stage accident affected her performance.

The semi-final is on New Year's Eve at the prestigious Club PBP. The contestants arrive early and spend the day in dress rehearsals, while specially invited friends arrive early ahead of the crowds.

Rose: Would you like a drink? Maia: No, it's fine, thanks - Malcolm already got me one. Peyton: How are you feeling? Rose: Nervous. I think I'll need another drink to steady my nerves!

Rose finds JJ at the bar, still disappointed that his band isn't playing. JJ: It just doesn't add up. The way that Carla's heel was broken, as though somebody had tried to saw it off! I don't mean to cry foul, but I think someone's trying to sabotage this competition. Rose: You know what? I think you're right. There's just been too much bad luck for it to be a coincidence. Maia: I'm beginning to get a hunch about who it might be.

After changing costumes, Rose and Malcolm deliver their performances, but just before Some Precinct are about to play, Maia rushes to the bathroom to vomit, and Skye collapses outside, feeling dizzy. "The show must go on, darling!" insists Judith, inwardly seething at their lack of professionalism, since clearly they must have drunk too much!

Unsteadily, the band performs, but it's a shambles.

Maia staggers backstage. "I feel like I've been poisoned, and I have a good idea how. I think Malcolm slipped something into my drink!"

Rose concurs: "You know, I've been suspecting Malcolm myself, but I have no way to prove it."

"You're completely right," says a voice behind them. It's Tyler!

Tyler: I've been watching the show at home, and he's been sabotaging us from the start.

Tyler: Think back to the auditions. Who was the very first person you spoke to? Rose: Malcolm. Tyler: What did he say to you? Rose: He gave me this friendly advice to live in the moment, that I'm too young to be tied down and that I should accept whatever pleasures come my way. Tyler: And he said the same thing to Caleb. He manipulated you into making out in order to get rid of me. Next, he manipulated Octavia into swapping Dark Water's song at the last moment, eliminating them. He also convinced Maia and Kim to trade places without realising that Maia was the better singer! Then, he broke into the Roswells' room and stole documents to try to incriminate them, then convinced Venessa Jeong to drop out to care for her newborn, and persuaded Miko that she couldn't perform without Darling. After that, he broke Carla's foot, and made Maia and Skye sick. You have to win this competition, Rose! You have to stop him, for all of us!

Rose stares at him. It all makes perfect sense. Rose: You're not still mad at me? Tyler: No, of course not! You were manipulated. I know that you love me, and I love you ... eternally. Rose: I love you, too, and thank you for telling me all of this. I will win this competition if it is the last thing I do, just to wipe that smug smile off Malcolm’s stupid face!

There are only two acts left in the competition: Rose and Malcolm.
