I've been busy with some other projects but I've been testing the waters at some different types of ts3 challenges. Mostly been exploring other creator's custom worlds though tbh.

I'm a little excited cause I just checked my gigantic family tree and realized Wren and River are in the same generation. They are from very different branches of the Nova clan but would be living at around the same time. I was trying to decide which I would play with but I guess I could take them on adventures together. I wonder if they'll get along.

Touched him up a bit, not sure I want to use him for anything but it was fun to pull him out of the depths of my backup drive.

Dragged out the oldest sim I still have access to. This is Nicolei, he was binned in January of 2013. I just gave him hair cause he was bald but haven't edited anything yet. Obviously it's not the first sims 3 I ever made cause I've been playing sims since s1 but I didn't start backing up my saves and sims until then.
I'm pretty sure his family are like vampiric witches cause they are categorized as witches in CAS but have fangs and such. I was really into my supernatural sims during my sims 3 era.

Yes, I was born in the 80s tho. We had one that regularly dropped by my street like once a week. It was great during the summer cause I lived in the desert and my parents would push us outside to play as soon as the sun came up. I think the jingle was "La Cucaracha" lol
Explaining to my Australian ex that ice cream trucks are in fact real and not made up for television.

This is Wren, she was born in the first generation of a legacy I started with her dad Silas. She's Vincent's little sister from a few weeks back. At least I'm pretty sure she's the younger sibling. I'd have to check, lol.

Dug out a little bundle of my legacy spares to make over and possibly do something with. Trying not to hit them too hard with the edit stick so I don't lose the genetics they were born in game with. This is River. She was born in my old Walk of Life Challenge during the 3rd generation.
Don't have all my CAS cc in so she's missing tattoos and piercings atm.

Played through Penny Anne's round in my Far Watch save last week some time.
Peak produce is becoming quite popular. I mean it is the only grocer in town so what choice do they really have?
Decided to expand things and add a little bakery, then hired her neighbor Emery to help her work it. Em technically has her own home bakery but I thought it'd be a fun way to developed her skills. I may have her make Emery the store manager down the road. We'll see.
Life at home has been otherwise quiet for her though. She is just giving love to her flowers and catching up on some skills.

Been busy cleaning up my yard from the storms we've had kicking off this year but I found some time to poke at projects on Halley's main street. The arcade is mostly done, just need to reposition a tree and maybe add some more deco inside. The new lot to wrap things up is probably going to be a coffee house with a live venue stage.
I'm really having the ts3 gameplay itch. Not sure what I want to do, maybe I'll look for a challenge.

I'm gonna have a bit of an internet big sister moment and just say this: you are good enough, your content is good enough, and you're not in competition with anyone.
I constantly see people on my dash comparing themselves to other people and getting down on themselves because their computers aren't top of the line, or they don't feel like the screenshots they share are good enough because they don't use Reshade or edit them the way other people do, or that their gameplay isn't worth posting because it's too boring/niche/whatever, and it makes me so sad.
You are ALL good enough, your screenshots are good enough, and your stories and gameplay are good enough. Ideally, you play The Sims games to bring yourself some joy in whatever context that looks like, and that's what matters at the end of the day. We're all here to document and share our unique experiences and game styles, and that uniqueness is what should be focused on. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, and I encourage y'all to take a look at why you think your strengths have to be the same as someone else's.
Be yourself, and do what makes YOU happy. There is only one You on this earth, and that person is worth celebrating, strengths and weaknesses and all. Be kind to yourselves, friends.

rotfl my bread post got hit by the puritanical AI. I know this is a known glitch rn, just cracks me up that this is the one that got dinged. I haven't been hit with a mature tag in forever and most of the previous ones were frankly fair. There were a lot of male presenting nipples on my page at one point.

Forgot to share my bread. Keep forgetting to take a picture when it's in loaf form. Made another batch today cause my partner is obsessed with it rn and wiped through two loaves since Wednesday.
A Wednesday batch rising.

It's easily one of the best baked things I have produced recently. I've always been more of a stovetop chef but in the last year I've started baking more. Partially to give my households some nice weekend treats since my partner and son both love those kinds of treats and also just to expand my cooking skills. Also I can eat this! A lot of the stuff I make I can't eat cause of my food allergies. >.< lol.
Anyway I've had this recipe since that time in 2020 when everyone was making bread. It's a very simple, low ingredient.
Random Internet Bread Recipe I saved to Google Docs 2 1/2C Bread Flour 1 Tbsp White Sugar 1 tsp salt 1Tbsp Active Dry Yeast 2 Cups Warm Water (may not use it all) METHOD: 1) Combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast into a large mixing bowl. 2) Slowly add warm water, stirring until a slighty sticky dough is formed. 3) Knead dough on floured surface for 6-8 minutes. 4) Return dough to mixing bowl, cover with wet cloth and let dough rise for 40 minutes. 5) On a floured surface, roll dough flat and fold into thirds, adding a pinch of flour each time. Repeat 4-5 times 6) Roll dough into a loaf and pinch the bottom closed. 7) Add dough to greased loaf pan. Cover and let rise for 20-30 minutes 8) Preheat oven to 375F, add a baking sheet with a round pan to oven. 9) Fill round pan with 1-2" of water. 10) Bake loaf in preheated oven for 30 minutes 11) Let loaf cool in pan for 5 minutes, then turn out onto a cooling rack, tap the loaf's bottom to ensure loaf is cooked through 12) Let loaf cool fully, slice into 10-12 slices and enjoy!
Since I'm already rambling here's some more of the things I baked this year:

I also fairly regularly make banana blueberry muffins on Sunday mornings but it's such a habit I never take a picture. Anyway I gotta go finish up making dinner. o7

Meet the rest of the town, this is Robin. He owns the local hang out Tides End. He's pretty new to the neighborhood.
Another newcomer Emery. I haven't really played her yet so her future is bright and wide open. She likes to cook so I gave her a home bakery business.
Then there's Kaylee, she's an aspiring doctor and is the other single gal Freddy has been canoodling around with.
Next was the first pairing of the town, Jabari and Jake who are both are all about traveling and adventure.
Then there's Tabia, who is a teacher and hasn't really found anyone she likes in town yet. She does seem attracted to Robin so we'll see if that pans out.
And finally Ajax and Lola. Lola is who Freddy wishes he could be with. She is pretty classy so I don't blame him but she and Ajax have way more in common. He's in education and she's an architect in training.
Anyway that's my sims 2 game right now. ^.^

A look at the rest of Far Watch. It's kind of a BACC but there's really no specific rules and I'm not diligently tracking anything. Just building when I want to build.
Right now I just have the 8 households. Freddy is in that first one, just wrapped up his Autumn round. Next up will be Penny Anne who owns the local grocery store (Peak Produce).
She and Freddy kind of have a thing but he kind of has a thing with like three girls. His three bolter is engaged to someone else so maybe he's just trying to get over that loss.
#ts2#random ts2 gameplay#ts2FarWatch#PennyAnneWhitehall#FarWatchFreddy#I should call him by his actual name but FWF is a lot funnier to me
