After playing and watching the ending of chapter 4... yeaaaa (half) of the Deltarune fandom was justified in their anger 😅

Tbh, what I got from that scene was actually just Toby who wanted to explain what Sans meant when he said, "I 'befriended' your mom last night" in Chapter 1. Because it took place at night, right? And the reason why there were quotation marks around the word 'befriended' was because the way they met and got to know each other wasn't exactly normal. Instead of sitting around and casually chatting, they turned on a silly song and do the silly dance together.

BUT. I also get why people got upset with Sans. His timing was bad. Asgore clearly still had feelings for Toriel, so maybe Kris was hoping their parents would talk things out and finally get back together. Or at least become friends again. But then here's this guy, Sans. Who seemed to take advantage of the situation to insert himself and steal the wife's attention.

As for me, rather than blaming Sans tho', I actually took offense to Toriel's behaviour more. Because, if you were really going to cancel the meeting at the church, at least let your kid know. Call them. Tell them where you were. That you were hiding in a store from the sudden rain, and Kris and Susie should not have come home yet because the house was still locked (Kris and Susie were out of the Dark World when the rain started, so Toriel had ample time to give them an update on her whereabouts). But instead of doing exactly that, she was just dancing and drinking with some guy she barely knew. In the house. At night.

Seriously, did she not have a phone?

Man. The ending of Chapter 4 made me feel even more sorry for Kris. TwT

Heyo op!! So recently I’ve been on Undertale kick again, and I’ve refound ur amazing Underfell comic series!! And I see that it got new chapters!

Which is crazy cuz I rmb reading this bad boy back in flipping 2019/2020 smth, so seeing it had updates was such a cool surprise!! But I noticed the newest chapter was released over 2 years ago, and was wondering if you’re ever gonna continue it? 😅

If not, that’s completely fine, obviously! No pressure, I’m just curious 😙

Agh sorry I keep forgetting to check tumblr. My brain is not here. I have a few asks about Soulfell so I’ll put them here too!

So as far as Soulfell goes I’m afraid I definitely lost steam, had art block, lost the hyperfixation, was moving, and ultimately I just couldn’t make myself work on it anymore.

That said, I did a poll a little while back to see if people wanted to know how it was gonna end and the plot I had planned and stuff. The consensus was yes!

With such a weight off my shoulders I immediately,… did nothing about it LNDKDKGJLFNDKD

But I do plan on doing a write up. I just have to organize my gibberish notes and make it all a little easier to read. I also had aspirations to do the animatics I had planned, and I might still try now that my life has calmed down a bit, but for now the only new Soulfell content will be the summary/plot I release at a later date.

Im rly sorry because I desperately wanted to finish it, I had big plans, and I didn’t want to drop yet another project, but as it took years and years to get through even the first act, I started to really feel the drag of it. I still haven’t fully remembered how to just draw for the sake of something that isn’t a Big Project. I ended up making big (less big) projects for my current hyper fixation too and I’m so bad at small project. KNDKGNGKDN

So anyway tl;dr no more pages but I’ll tell everyone what I had planned and a summary too!

I've said on my Spirit Track's post before that I'm gonna redesign Beat's outfit. Now, after literally 4 years, I decided to stop being a lazy A and fulfilled my own promise! >-<

….tbh, it's cuz I just got done reading LU fanfic that I finally remembered this haha

There are no significant changes to the overall outfit. I just changed the size of the music notes on the tunic then added some on his red shirt sleeves, gave the said tunic a split on each side, added a telescope holder on his thigh, and most importantly, a hanging belt to hold onto Beat's charms. I especially want to fix the latter cuz I feel like putting the charms on the back of his belt is kinda…idk…cumbersome? After all, how did he manage to clip it without taking off the belt? That sounds like too much work '3'

Anyway, Beat looked merrier now. It fits his peppy personality :D

I remember watching Back to the Future when I was in middle school and got super HYPED when the third movie was in a cowboy setting. Unfortunately, my national television decided not to air that one, idk why. Still haven't watched it to this day. Maybe I can finally do it now that we live in the era of the internet and Netflix…

OH SHT, WIND BREAKER IS A FOUND FAMILY STORY!!! I DIDN'T KNOW!!! I WOULD WATCH IT PREMIÈRE IF I KNOW, DANGIT!!!

I was too preoccupied with Sonic Movie 3 before that I forgot Natsume Yuujincho season 7 was already out. So, when I was done watching that and was otw to read some fanfics, I saw a crossover story with Wind Breaker.

'Huh, I heard about this anime in passing before. Why would they crossover'ed it with Natsume?'

And here I am now. Sobbing non-stop because, FCK, this is a shonen manga! Why is it so full of feels??? My heart is not okay 😭😭😭🤧🤧🤧

Then Knuckles and Tails appeared, telling Shadow to focused on the Eclipse Canon for now while they handle Sonic. This way, we could see that Shadow did try to establish a camaraderie with Sonic. That he did try to forgive and change."

I was hoping when Shadow met Tom-disguised-as-Walter, he lashed out. You know...misplaced anger and all. That he blamed Walter for not trying hard enough in stopping GUN. That Maria died because the bullet Walter tried to stop caused the explosion. So it made sense when Shadow was surprised Walter's face suddenly turned into Tom. Because he thought he was punching Walter, not someone else."

"When Shadow pulled off that Chaos Spear attack, it came out of nowhere! Even to me, who had already watched the game. Like... how? From the beginning till the middle of the movie, you were just doing your teleportation attack. Since when were you able to conjure a spear out of chaos energy? And when you needed more power to push the Eclipse Canon out of Earth's way, since when did "taking off your bracelets" mean "powering up"?"

"I think...when you did the flashback, it'll be good if we get to see the first time Shadow conjured a Chaos Spear. Because he couldn't control it, the scientist then put a limiter (bracelet) on. And now that they realized how powerful Shadow was and how dangerous he is, the leader of the GUN decided, 'You know what? Project Ultimate Lifeform is not worth our safety'. That was how that tragedy happened. The tragedy, where they tried to escape yet failed because of Maria's death."

That was...kinda not good.

REVIEW BELOW (I'm not complaining just for the sake of complaining, by the way)

Don't get me wrong. The action scenes were great. Legit was hyped at most of them, it got me leaning on my seat. Gerald's character study was good; you can definitely see how the death of his grandchild drove him to insanity. Drowning himself in sorrow and ignoring what's in front of him. Dude, I feel so bad for Eggman!! He was abandoned by all the people that he knew. And when he finally got the family that acted and understood what it felt like to be a mad genius scientist, he still didn't get the TLC he wished for! Eggman looked so devastated, you can totally see it in his eyes! Sonic Movie 3 did the feels right, and I can give it a thumbs up for that.

But the pacing. Oh my god, it was sooo bad. Even worse than the Mario movie. From the introduction of the new characters (Gerald and Shadow) to the character development (Shadow and Eggman). Everything appeared and happened almost all at once and it felt so bloated, I almost couldn't breathe. Those flashback scenes about Shadow and Maria were perfect, but the background story for Shadow himself was still not enough. Gerald felt like the main antagonist instead, and that is such a missed opportunity.

In my opinion, they blundered at the placement of the events (subjective takes here). Rather than a scene where Shadow ran away from GUN, I think it'll be better if we get that Shadow and Maria flashback first. We get to see their friendship from the very moment the movie started, so it'll be a lot clearer why Shadow beat the crap out of GUN agents the moment he woke up.

Seriously. From the moment I saw Gerald in the trailer, alive, I had a bad feeling that they wouldn't be able to focus on Shadow for the entirety of the movie. Guess I was right...

Also, wasn't Master Emerald empty? From the ending of Sonic Movie 2, after Sonic turned off his Super Saiyan mode, he threw those colorful Chaos Emeralds to who-knows-where. And Knuckles reforged the Master Emerald WITHOUT the Chaos Emerald. So why were the Chaos Emeralds here? And why was their size bigger than the previous movie? It was supposed to be as big as a coin, right? But this time, it looked like the Chaos Emerald from the game. It's as big as your palm.

Okay, maybe it was just the camera perspective, and they just want to make sure the viewers could see the Chaos Emerald, but still. Why were they here?? Did Knuckles find it when he had that adventure in the Knuckles series? I didn't watch that one, but my friend said the fire fist he learnt was indeed came from there…

One more thing. Won't it be cool if Sonic turned Dark instead of Super this time around? After all, he activated the power of the Master Emerald with anger, instead of the need to protect the people that he cares for. So we will be reminded of Knuckle's warning about the danger of giving this stone to the wrong person. Because it could even change the pure-hearted Sonic into this hateful creature. Like Shadow

Then again, Dark Sonic is not canon. Super Sonic looked angry enough already, so it's fine. This part is just me being nitpicky.

Tho' if we want to talk more about me being nitpicky...

Overall, 7.5/10. The action scenes were great. That Sonic vs Shadow battle was #chefKiss. Gerald's character study was good. And that part where Tom and Maddie learned new hobbies because they were bored was hella funny (they've became adrenaline junkie lol). But the pacing was really bad. That part where Jimbotnik dances around the laser with his grandpa could be scrapped, and those couple of minutes could be used to dive into Shadow's backstory a bit deeper. I know it was just your usual Jim Carrey randomness, but even if you take that part away, it won't affect anything. I still like the marriage scene from the second movie better because at least that scene was used to showcase Tail's gadgets. A.k.a. to show that this fox is really beyond genius.

I am not kidding. 20 minutes into the case, and I guessed who the killer was already based on the character design alone :'D

Ace Attorney is famous for their unique character design. And that 'uniqueness' is usually tied to their animation. Even Apollo, one of the characters with simple design, has a reason for that two-horned hair. A.k.a. the animator will make those things move to show his current emotion. Like ahoge.

So, when I saw Fifi and there's no animation where she opens up her jacket whatsoever, I realized what the plot twist is going to be :'D

One of my favourite webnovels is Spare Me Great Lord, where the main character (Lu Shu) is a complete jerk. In a troll way. He used others, disregarding their opinion if it didn't benefit him, and won't hesitate to rob them blind.

This webnovel has 1332 chapters. And do you know at what chapter did he change his way? Around 1000 chapters. And even then, he's still greedy.

Character development needed time. Let them be jerks for a while. If they changed for the better, good. If they don't, then leave. Sometimes, authors create their characters just to be hated. There's a reason why 'villain' exists.

'What if the main characters we were supposed to root for were unlikable?' Like I said, just leave. Likeable characters are subjective, just like real-life people. Don't force the author to change them because the said 'likeable characters' were not to your taste :/

MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK LEGACY COLLECTION

Managed to beat the whole thing in two weeks. Well, I didn't play 4. The second game backtracking annoyed me already, I felt like 4 is going to destroy my sanity so I skipped the game. But I finished the other. Totally having a blast~

The third game story is the best, imo. The fifth game DoubleSoul gimmick is better (except for that stupid Samurai minigame. That thing can go to hell). And the sixth game dungeons are the most enjoyable over all the other. Seriously, the last game dungeons made me grin like a maniac. It's so fun XD
