Chris couldn't help but chuckle, his cheeks warming a little bit after hearing the joke. Rolling his eyes playfully at them " I always mange to say something that can twisted into something funny" The amount of giggles he would hear in class with the whispers. He wasn't stupid. But there was a time and place for those jokes. "Here" He took his hands cupping them into his own. Stars hands were like ice compared to Chris' he brought her hands to his lips a blew air in to warm them up "Let me buy that coffee for you."

"Chris," Starling repeated, nodding a little. "Oh you're one of those, huh?" They laughed before giving Chris a sheepish look. "Sorry; I couldn't resist." Absently rubbing their hands together, Star huffed. "Oh, well, look at me, I'm Chris Winters, I'm not cold in the wintertime. But yeah; I was gonna get a small sugar with some coffee to try to fix that problem. Then, who knows. The day is young. I don't have plans yet."

"please don't yell at me Elijah I-" she sighed "I just care about you and if I had known…" She shook her head "Maybe this was a bad idea…. just go to bed I'll be gone in the morning…" She would stay at the hotel till she could find her own place.

Elijah scoffed and shook his head. "No, we're not gonna talk about this. I don't want to talk about this." He raised his voice slightly, getting irritated quickly due to the drink in his system. Elijah picked her bags up and set them on his couch.

"Honestly…" She huffed a laugh "If I had a choice I would have left a long time ago." And even though that was still her plan she wanted to wait till their daughter was old enough to make the choice to stay there or go with Freya. "Just, typical Teenage stuff. She thinks I'm the lamest person in the world and I'm pretty sure she broke the record for most eye rolls during an argument the other day..." Freya was certain this would be the same if Will was involved, Freya and her siblings went through it as well there was no skipping this phase. It was a parents right of passage "it suits you..." she was being honest before snorting a laugh looking down at her track suit and house shoes "I usually look more put together...I normally don't run into people when I drop her off."

"Hashtag rich people problems." He shot at her with a smile. "No, tell me, what rough patch have you hit with her?" Will asked, sitting back and he knew exactly what she was trying to do, distract him from trying to learn about his child. He played along. "It's the beard." He gestured to it. "You look good too."

"Well then you're in the right place" Valkyrie smile a soft laugh pushed through her nose. "We can be freaks together then. Have you seen my office?" She motioned around them, the Jars of creatures and the taxidermy that littered the shelves and frames on the walls. "You're more than welcome to keep warm a long as you need. I didn't see much on the itinerary for today anyway..."

auden looked up at the sudden voice entering the room, fingers clutching the mug of coffee in their hands before they realized it was just valkyrie. "i dunno, i think death is pretty fun, but i'm also a freak." they paused, holding their mug up. "just trying to get a little warm. cold shovels and bare hands in freezing temps don't mix well."

"I might have a spare back at the club if you want, I wouldn't mind. Certainly would save me some money! this stuff is so expensive!" She joked, like the coffee wasn't pocket change for her. She took a seat on his desk. "It wasn't bad I guess, he saw me with my daughter....I guess it was only a matter of time before he saw us." It had been 16 year, she avoided him surprising well. Glancing at her friend she shook her head "We need to spice up your life, love"

he laughed in their hug "it was, it spat at me the other day. it's an aggressive coffee pot, we need a new one" his eyebrows shot up when he was taking a sip of his coffee "you did? how did that go for you?" he asked, checking to make sure she was okay "nothing exciting over here, mountains of paperwork and late nights at the office"

Chris sighed and shook his head "No, and it was a whole spectacle for the whole town too see. Who ever it is they wanted us to all know" He ran a hand over his face "It was hard seeing him like that, He was one of my students..." he couldn't even let him self think about if it had been Josie. He might have actually snapped.

"oh yeah i heard about that," raymond mumbled running a hand through his hair. "what's the whole thing with all that? did they catch the person who did it yet or no?"

"You know there is a think called bluffing...." Which Dean was absolutely doing. He knew the basics but he wasn't on the ice much and it was enough to get him too and from he Zamboni without getting hurt. That's all he needed and he felt stupid even thinking about asking Dabi for lessons. Dean was way to old to learn, and he knew in the morning he'd regret this. His muscles will tell him off soon enough. 'oh?' he smiled a little at Dabi's surprise "You think I stay this late for no reason, I wasn't kidding when I said I bring that machine out here for you..." going behind the counter he dug around and found the ride size. He took a seat to put them on "It's not an excuse, I can't be skating in some that's the wrong size." Standing up dean shook his head "well go on, get on the Ice...."

"you wish you could skate circles around me." dabi said all to confidently. he'd been skating for practically his entire life, the moment he was able to express interest in something it was skating and then eventually hockey. "oh?" he now said with a raised eyebrow having not expected that. now he chuckled and stood up after his skates were laced up, making his way to the counter. "they probably have everyone's size, they want money just like every other business you're just making excuses at this point."

Tw: Abuse, Sexual Abuse, and Death

Valkyrie was the youngest and the only girl of her family. Unfortunately her mother left when she was very young that left her to be raised by her older brother and her father.

While her brother was her best friend, he was rarely home. Doing whatever their father wanted of them it left Valkyrie and him a lone a lot. He would treat her like a stay at home wife, Doing house hold chores, taking care of him and because she grew up to look a lot like her mother her father treated her as such. Forcing himself on her at a very young age. At a very very young age, it wasn't until her brother came home and walked in on him that Valkyrie really starter to try to fight her father when he still continued to abuse her.

She began the resent her brother. Hoping that he would just take her away from the monster that was their father but what was proven to be nothing but a pipe dream. Her brother found a girl and ran away with her never looking back at the mess that was the moon family drama.

She was 18 when she met the strange man who would eventual become her husband. He was almost nearly too old for her but the two had a connection she couldn't deny but she kept him at arms reach. Scared he too would leave her. She ended up sleeping with him as a way to take control back of her body.

He professed his love to her and told her that he had to take care of somethings and that he would be back for her. She didn't hold too much weight And in the meantime she studied to be a mortician. She was always fascinated with the macabre, death and even witchcraft. This made her even more of an outsider wherever she lived.

Her father would eventually pass away, while his death was sudden and it raised a few brows no one had said anything about it. At the end of the day he was just a Drunk asshole with a weird creepy daughter. And as if like clockwork, Valkyries man came back but he had bad news.

he didn’t have much time to live so they eloped, got married and he left everything to her in his will. He spend the rest of that year with her in Salem MA, suddenly Valkyrie was a very rich Woman with the keys to a lovely home in his home town called greenview.

She moved from her home in Salem to Greenview and despite being well off she took a job as the mortician in Greenview.It’s been 6 years since she moved to Greenview and she still is seen as an outsider.She’s been painted as the “Black Widow” in town because of her connection to the Funeral Home, Her Reclusive behavior, and how odd the whole situation is with her Late husband.

Short paragraph describing the character’s feelings regarding Jason’s death: Teddy saw Jason as like a little brother. While Teddy was hard on him, he only wanted Jason to be the best he could be. Teddy always had an open door policy, it was a safe space. He could come to Teddy for anything. Even if it was something as scary as feeling like his life was in danger. After hearing about Jason’s Death Teddy had to take a moment, He was heartbroken it was like losing a family member. Now that he has had time to think and calm down he can’t help but worry about his other loved ones and even his own secrets coming to light.

Teddy grew up in greenview, was born with the the plan for him to take over for his father when he was ready to retire from his coaching position at the college.

though for a while those plans were uprooted when at only the age of 3 he was diagnosed with type one diabetes. His parents became very protective of him. Despite them thinking this would hold Teddy back, he beat the odds and became nearly super human. He was a giant in height and in muscle and was able to use what his parents thought would be a crutch to his advantage. He was extra careful with his body and grew up to be the towns golden boy.

unfortunately because of this Teddy put constant pressure on himself to prove himself to his parents. He's never really taken a break or taken the time to get to know himself. Until he went to college, he of course was still in town but he was on his own in the dorms for the first time in his life. Its when he started to realize he liked masc presenting people just as much as Fem Presenting people. and while Teddy was a hopeless romantic he never really got serious or settled down with anyone. Focusing mostly on his career. His plan to take over for his dad still in action.

He met Jason when he was only in high school and could see the potential and why his father wanted him for the team. So he took Jason under his wing and became like an older brother to him seeing himself in the boy. He was so excited when Jason got in at Greenview uni and couldn't wait to see what he was going to do with his talents.

When Teddy's mother died very suddenly, and he saw his father spiral it got to a point where Teddy went to the dean of the school and asked to apply for his fathers position. He ended up being hired and his father was able to retire. Teddy was given some of his mothers journals to keep as a memento. He didn't realize the secrets they would hold. He soon found out that he wasn't his fathers son, and couldn't help but wonder if that was the reasoning for his fathers crash out.

He couldn't ponder on it long, while it broke his heart and made him question so much about his life. He had a Job to do and the team back at the university was counting on him. Once again feeling the weight on his shoulders too prove himself.

Jason's death rocked Teddy's world even more, it was like loosing a family member. And now while he might still be his chipper self he can feel it slipping. Worried that his sacrifices for the team will come to light. After loosing his two best payers in such a short amount of time...he had no other choice.

Bio

Cai always had a very rocky Home life, being forced to take care of their younger siblings since their parents were too busy using drugs and drinking they became the main provider for their siblings. They did whatever they could to do so, taking odd jobs here and there. Their real passion was music so they started off with that and went from there.

As They got older they were a musician by day, sex worker by night. And for a while this kept the lights on and the fridge full. At one of their night time gigs they offered a contract with a man who promised them the world. They were 18 at the time and very naive. They didn’t know they were signing their soul to the devil incarnate.

For years they were contractually obligated to do both. Perform and write songs like a normal musician but if their manager needed them too they were to be sent out to clients of their manager. Cai’s biggest selling point was that they could give a great musical performance and then “perform” backstage for investors, producers, and any other important people that needed to be seen. 

Meanwhile, Cai and his band mates to the public eye were just a regular band out in London and they were getting fairly big for where they started. However They never really saw much of the money they were promised. What they got they gave it to their siblings when they were aloud to see their family.

The only way Cai could find any escape were the Drugs and the alcohol they were given by those they surrounded themselves with. One night during a hookup, Cai couldn't help it. In a fit of rage mid session they put reached for the ice pick and stabbed a client. Running out of there as soon as they could, taking all the money they could from the clients money. And suddenly they got a horrible idea, they would do this to most of if not all their clients *if* the opportunity presented it self. And OH boy did it, almost too much.

One night, Their manager confronted Cai about all the Clients that were going missing. When Cai wouldn't talk, Their manager Pinned Cai down had his way with them. They finally snapped and fought back. Taking their weapon of choice. and ice pick from the mini bar and ending their managers life swiftly. 

They dropped off as much money as they could to their siblings, Told their band mates they were finally free and just left. They've been running since.

They have been labeled ‘the ice pick killer’ to true crime fans. No one has linked Mordecai Pluto the famous singer to these death’s however.  

Cai has simply told their fans that they are on an indefinite hiatus and that that band is taking time away from one another.

Josie new from a young age that she was a rainbow baby, she could see how much her parents spoiled her. Because of this she became very good at manipulating them. Mostly her Father because she was 'Daddy's little girl'. For a good long while she could get her mother to fall for her tricks however something changed the older she got.

Josie figured out by middle school they didn't exactly want to mold to what the social norms of gender were. She never really identified with the masculine side of things but They also didn't fully identify with the feminine side either. Since 6th grade they've been using They/Them pronouns. This infuriated her mother and was the cause of a lot of arguments in the Winters house hold. Chris understanding her struggle with identity and sympathized with them. He welcomed her with open arms where their mother? almost always threw the bible at them. Pushing Josie to go to church and tried to keep her away from her friends thinking they were the reason for this sudden need to uproot their lives.

It only got worse when her mother caught Josie with one of her many partners in her room together. Josie knew her sexuality pretty early on, she grew up kissing and making out with a lot of her friends just for fun and it didn't matter how they identified. By her freshman year of high school she would proudly say she was pan-sexual. Her mother pushed church even more at her daughter and it got to a point where Josie was wishing and hoping that her mother would just leave her alone. That her parents would divorce and their mother would be out of their life for good. Because of her mothers constant controlling ways Josie became a big into partying. Was she popular? no not by any means, they were considered a freak by most of their class mates. Josie wore dark clothing, dark make-up, and platforms. She was the stereotypical outcast. because of this She and their friends were the targets of a lot of bullying.

Jillian Abbott was the main source of her bullying, Josie never took it, They were notoriously known for fighting back physically. This cause Josie to have a lot of marks on her record. When Josie was 13 years old, she lost her mother and suddenly....everything they ever wanted was finally coming true. she was Free. She was heart broken for her father. They understood that he loved her with all his heart but to Josie couldn't help but celebrate. For two years they felt like they could breathe and be their true self and then...it all went to shit. Josie's best friend Jay pendleton was missing from school one day. It didn't take long to find out that he was pronounced dead. This rocked Josie world because they were in love with Jay. Josie quickly turned to drugs, drinking and Sex. She dated here and there but she was never faithful. 90% of the time she was sleeping with someone because they had the Drugs she wanted.

Despite this, Josie did very well in school and even scored and Scholarship to GVU (thanks to some convincing from Chris that Josie was a good kid, just dealt a bad hand just like him). Chris had one rule, She had to attend AA and Group therapy for her issues.

Josie is now attending GVU and is stuck with her high school bully in their small dorm. They can't help but Hate Jill for the way she treated Josie and her friends in high school. Part of her can't help but blame Jill for what happened to Jay.

You would think being an heiress to one of the richest families in Greenview would be a dream come true. Unfortunately it was hell on earth for Freya. She was constantly reminded that no matter what she wanted she was going to be the owner of the Yacht Club. It had been in the Chamberlain family for generations. Of course that didn't mean that Freya didn't rebel. She did in her own ways.

She was a good student growing up and this extended into her college years. However, Freya was big into partying and this amplified in college. She was about 20 years old when she started seeing Christopher Winters in secret. They had been friends since high school, Freya had always had a stupid crush on him. Unfortunately he was always spoken for and she left it at that.

when he came to her one night for a late night drink, she let it slip that she had always had feelings for him. Next thing she knew, they were tangled up together in her bed. The next morning he told her it couldn't continue and she agreed. His wife was also her friend and she felt awful for what she had done. But not enough to stop completely. The affair continued on for quite a few years.

In between sleeping with Chris, and her usual partying she met William Butler. He was a freshman in college and she was a senior about to graduate. The two hit it off and hooked up at a party one night. A few weeks later Freya found out she was pregnant. For a short amount of time she considered going to get an abortion. She was only 24. She wasn't ready to be a mother, however she decided to go home and ask her parent's for help.

To no surprise at all her parents shamed her, told her she was going to carry the baby to term or she would be completely cut off. They offered to house her for her senior year to keep her away from the eyes of anyone who wanted to start rumors If she would stop fighting them and take over the club when the time came. She said yet and the rest was history.

9 months past and she was able to join the world again, with a fresh new baby in her arms. While there is a part of her that knows who the father is. There is a small part of her that hopes Chris is the father just for an excuse to get him to commit to her and her daughter.

For a long time it was just her and her daughter. Her Parents soon retired and moved away from greenview. And so did most of Freya's siblings. She still has her friends and now after explaining why she disappeared for so long things were getting back to normal. She even started seeing Chris again.

While she now owns the Yacht Club she doesn’t necessarily run it. She is mostly there to help keep the club in the Chamberlain name. The Crew that have been there way longer than her run it just fine. She is just there to write the checks and be the neutral party if there are any disagreements.

She has avoided Will as much as could for so long and wants to keep it that way. Her daughter is currently in her phase of hating everything and anything that involves her mother. Spending more time with her friends than at home.

Freya is still quite happy with how her life turned out. Despite pinning for a man who will never commit to her.
