It was a super simple late-night thing, but I've started binge watching SU recently and I took a crack at Pink Diamond~ I keep imagining her as someone we'll all end up really liking but also as someone who'll make us sympathize with Rose's old motivations tbh

Blue Diamond is Leiji Matsumoto confirmed. I wanted to draw this even since i watched the Steven Bomb leak. Matsumoto’s influence on Blue’s design was very easy to recognize, and now @rebeccasugar herself confirmed that, wow. So here i tried to imitate Matsumoto’s style because i REALLY wanted to see how Blue Diamond would look if drawn like Emeraldas or Maetel, with this cool style *_*

honestly rukia was probably the most formative asian heroine of my childhood. nobody else could burn with kindness as fiercely as she could. who could snarl with such disdain, who could hunger so much to be a warrior, stalking across the battlefield with a sword glistening in her fist like a raw diamond.
i mean. here you have a dead girl, talking about justice. demanding for all spirits to be protected, demonstrating to our Male Shounen Protagonist what it means to be selfless, and a hero. she was thoughtful, earnest, and spoke her mind, and she never apologized for it.

*narrows eyes* So before the final arc even began Kubo said in an interview that Ukitake’s illness would get better
And it’s also pretty obvious that at the beginning of the final arc Kubo had planned on killing Byakuya but was later told to save him
If Kubo was so deadset on making Rukia a Captain at the end, I wonder if he had originally intended to make her Captain of the 6th Division but ended up having to change it

Rukia: I trust Ichigo.
Ukitake: You think he knows what he’s doing?
Rukia: I’m not sure I’d go that far.
