The journey went like so:

First, searching for anyplace online to watch it at all, because aside from a few crappy dailymotion uploads, the only place I could find it was NKR's website. Which is nice because it's free. However, no English subtitles and I don't speak any other languages fluently, and this show is Norwegian.

I dig around for a while to no avail. I even attempt to locate a torrent. No luck there, no seeders.

Eventually I find a Firefox extension that lets you load in subtitles onto most online videos. So install the extension, load the subtitle file, and you're done, right?

NOPE. Works for for episode 1, but the subsequent subtitle files don't take into account the "previously on" portion of the episodes. So they're out of sync.

Now I download another program to edit subtitle files, adjust the lines (thankfully can do it all at once) and pop THAT in.

And now I can watch this show for my own weird curiosity because...

....

The ordeal that I went through to watch Øyevitne with English subtitles just so I could play a fun comparison game with the American Eyewitness was extremely stupid but we got there in the end and tbh was actually kind of worth it.
