7 Ordinary Mistakes Students Should Avoid in Examination

As we know every year students made some mistakes, during examination, which leads to marks deduction. Exams are just around the corner and students must be busy with their preparations. As we observed that students make some silly mistakes during exam writing in the examination hall. Students should avoid these common mistakes in order to achieve good marks in exams.

 Read Questions Correctly- Always read question carefully, before attempt the answer. Due to the lack of time, as they are so much in hurry to answer the questions and sometime they are write the answer. As a student you need to maintain patience in the examination hall. Read the question properly, and check that you have understood the question.

 Poor Time-Management- Before you start writing an exam, count the number of questions and manage your time. This will tell you, how much you have time for every question. Always carry a watch with you during exams, this will helps you to manage your time properly. It is important you spend a relevant amount of time on every question.

 Avoid Spelling or Grammatical Errors- Stress of the exam, situation can lead you to make some grammatical or spelling mistakes. You need to be able to write Basic English, without any spelling or grammatical mistake in the examination. Just check basic before submit the exam.

 Avoid Bad Handwriting and non-reasonable cuttings - This is also one of the most crucial factor to maintain neatness and cleanliness on the paper sheet. Do not over write or repetition on the answer sheet. Sometime examiner tend to mislead, what you write. So maintain handwriting flow and way of presentation your answer.

Don’t randomize answer sequence-During examination, there can be several choices of question to answer. So you need to choose your answer wisely before attempting any questions. So you can first attempt easier questions, which you can easily tackle. By doing this technique you can building up early marks.

 Avoid Panic Situation- It is very much crucial to maintain coolness and calmness in the examination hall. Because it is also a common mistake, due to the nervousness, stress and exam pressure students copying the incorrect data from question paper, which lead to the wrong answer. So before exam keep calm and cool and take proper rest and feel fresh in the exam.

 Check Your Answer Sheet properly before submitting- This is particularly important in the examination, check your answer sheet before submit your teacher or tutor. So when you completed your exam before time, sit silently and check your all answers such as have you answered all the given questions or you filled out all the compulsory information.
