I have been wondering about this for a while, but what is Mel's goal by talking to Ganz and giving ideas to him? Is he trying to help Ganz? If he is, why would he? I mean, he's created by Ganz's negative feelings, correct? Why would he want to help?

To have Ganz give into Mel so that Mel can become the host of the body and not Ganz.

Like Jekyl and Hyde.

In the end of GZTale that I have in mind, yes, he does end up in the Omega Timeline because his AU got destroyed by Papyrus.

About my question on Mel: I was referring to the old GZtale comic where he seemed to try and help Ganz be more honest, but then I took a look at your profile and saw that you don't intend to continue the comic.

So you're going to remove that part of Mel? And just make him like an evil part of Ganz? Just wondering.

Originally Mel was made to be Ganz's 'nightmare'. A manifestation of his depression. So in the ending I have in mind for GZTale is that Mel is evil.

But I dont mind if people see Mel being a good person. I just cant see how depression can be 'good' for someone like Ganz who had been going through so much in his life.

Hello? Sorry Im nor really familiar with tumblr things

I just wanted to say some words and share something I drew a long time ago

I grew up with Gztale as my favorite au. I was first introduced to it in 2019 when I joined the fandom and it easily became my fav as I felt Ganz and Mel dynamic as what I feel. I left the fandom but I was still a big a fan if specifically this au. Recently I’ve returned and had to draw them. I wanted to say thanks to everyone involved in keeping this au alive.

First pic is the art I drew like a year or two. Second is a few days ago with the one from 2019 below.

I wanted to ask if Ganz has multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia or all the things he sees is just a side effect of the pills?

Well if you're refering to Melancholy Ganz, when Mel was created, he was purely for the sake of having a 'Nightmare Catcher' version of Ganz because of my old AU called 'UnderNC' (aka Under Nightmare Catcher). But Golzy took Mel and incorporated him into GZTale as an entity to represent Ganz's depression. Just as what a Nightmare Catcher would do. Mel is not a monster like Sans, he's more of a spirit that manifested because of Ganz's depression. Not because of the pills. It's like how Chara is to Frisk but for monsters :D

GZTale's story is filled with angst and gruesome moments. I would say that the whole story has a neutral route vibe :O

Why did you take ownership of Gztale? A very well loved comic- like I'm tryna ask what you're planning to do with it?

Because one, I've been a huge fan of the comic. Two, I know Golzy personally and has been there to watch the beginning of the comic.

And three, because I don't want people to go bombard Golzy to continue the comic. They've got their own original works to focus on and has long moved on from the Undertale fandom.

As of now I don't have that big of plans regarding continuing the comic since I also have projects of my own. But golzy gave me control of what happens to GZTale, and Ganz's story. So I'll try to work on that :D

I mainly took owner to have people tag me instead of Golzy because I'm still active in the fandom. Despite currently being being with college and other works myself. :)
