Hi love! As of right now I can’t run the Big Bang, as I’m in the process of moving across the world for my job and I couldn’t realistically focus all my attention on organizing the Big Bang this year.

Hello! I’m so sorry about the late reply, there won’t be one this year as I’m super busy with irl stuff (I’m preparing to move to a different country for a job)! And also currently doing other events for this fandom and different fandoms too.😊

It will definitely be back next year though so be in the look out for that!😊❤️

two days ago I wrote thirteen thousand words to finish this and it is still occupying my every waking thought–

welcome to my @obikinbigbang fic, the ageless dark. 

Wherein Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master and General of the Grand Army of the Republic, does not know what to make of his opponent, Separatist General and Sith Lord Darth Lessus…especially when he dreams of Lessus’ eyes, his smile, his voice saying Master, you’ve gone where I can’t follow.

(parts of this fic are nsfw!! but mostly it’s ~25k words of angst and drama and the mortifying ordeal of coming to know yourself)

ALSO there is amazing art for this fic done by my greatest love @pontah ❤️ it’s spectacular!!

Okay guys i can finally post about my fic Desperate Times Call for Desperate Measures, a horror obikin fic for the Obikin Big Bang 2021!!

Allow me to indulge in posting the summary:

After refusing Sheev Palpatine’s offer to become a Sith Lord, Anakin Skywalker flies to Utapau to warn Obi-Wan Kenobi of the incoming betrayal of the Republic orchestrated by the Chancellor. Though they barely manage to escape Order 66, their ship gets caught by newly-Imperial forces at the edge of the Subterrel sector, leading the pair to crash land on an uncharted moon in an uncharted system. It seems the moon is uninhabited, but they’re not alone…

In the days following their landing, Anakin and Obi-Wan skirt around the Imperial forces sent to capture them while trying to get a distress signal to Polis Massa Base. The signal appears to be blocked, and the majority of the Imperial camps they run into have been abandoned and trashed, clearly attacked by something much bigger than the average humanoid. It doesn’t take long for whatever is hunting the clones to turn its attention toward the two Jedi however, resulting in a worse threat than anything the newly-founded Empire could have ever thrown at them.

I, and others, made a huge effort to keep out summaries short and to the point, because in the server a mod literally said to keep it around a page. It’s extremely frustrating to have cut things, taken extra time, cut MORE... only to find that I didn’t need to in the first place. Someone asked how long it should be. A mod answered. I, and others obviously, followed the mods directions. Because they’re a mod. There is more I wanted to add, but cut because of this. I wasted my time, omitted things I wanted to add, and needless stressed over that, only to see others submit massive summaries that say the entire plot. It feels disingenuous and disorganized, and as though there’s no use asking a mod for advice.

Not sure where to put this since I’ve gotten a lot of anons/asks and some of them not so entirely nice, we just wanted to deeply apologize for any confusion we have caused about the summaries. When being submitted the summaries we received were long but they were a about a page long. And if anyone wants me to push dates back and redo the summaries to add more depth (still kept anonymous) we would be more than willing to do that.

And of course this is in no way meant to offend anyone or invalidate anyone’s feelings or to make anyone feel bad.

If there’s anything that we can do to fix it please let us know.❤️
