Buddy's Spay Surgery Fund

With a heavy heart I need to ask for help, my bearded dragon Buddy has been going to the vet for over a month now keeping an eye on her. Unfortunately today we got the bad news we've been dreading. Her follicles have stopped forming and she will require a surgery to spay her. Since we've moved we have had nothing but bad luck and have been hit with bill after bill completely draining any savings I had left. We aren't sure at this time how much the surgery will cost but I know for a fact it will be upwards of $1000. While I understand the risks of the surgery I don't want to lose her, I want to try everything we can.. Please if you can donate to Buddy's cause I will be forever grateful. They both glance down at Night who is currently still unconscious. He looks grim and pale, struggling to breathe after such a fall. They look up at each other.

Syl: Oh please Lea, I'm sure you want to go home just as much as I do. She scoffs, completely uninterested in helping further.

Lea: I-I do!! But look at him... If you are able to help him further why would you sit by and let him suffer? She turns way sheepishly lowering her head. We are lost anyways... Syl: More of a reason to keep moving on-

Kenji: Nahi, please, we aren't conspiring against you, Teiji and I just agreed to keep it secret because you would have a strong reaction against it. She knew it wouldn't sit well with you, and there is an even more pressing matter than your memory that she has to keep hidden just in case you start to remember again.

Nahi: AND THAT IS?!

Kenji:I do not know, you will have to ask Teiji herself at some point what it is, but if she has kept it hidden from you, then it is very likely for a good thing.

[Nahi seems to calm down]

Nahi: I... I... I guess that makes sense? I am starting to remember more of myself, so maybe this isn't like what I thought?

Kenji: Look, it is complicated, alright. As much as I would love to explain what is going on in your head, I cannot. You will have to ask Teiji herself at some point.

Cause you seem certain that he is not going to sleep peacefully through any of that...

Syl: While I appreciate your offer- I'm quite certain he will stay knocked out while we treat him. You don't exactly fall down a mountain and wake up immediately from it. She pauses before continuing. Syl: On the other paw, if he did magically wake up we have means to peacefully put him back into slumber. When fixing a dislocation it's best you have the patient as flexible and malleable as possible. What you're suggesting wouldn't work.

Syl: My sister was only suggesting you should leave if you get queasy around such practices. Not everyone can handle hearing bone being popped back into place and its probably for the best we don't share that with a crowd. With a swift motion Syl ushers everyone out of the tent. As Syl said not everyone can handle such imagery so what about to happen is probably better left unsaid and left up to imagination if you so wish to. < Prev | Next >

Nova and Night?

Well!! I'll start by saying a lot has changed since me and Flare first made these characters!! Night was made originally to be my character with his brother. I made them because I had an obsession with a pair of anime characters back in the day and despite them being nothing alike (except Night's brother sharing the name with said character) I was obsessed. Slowly Flare took over both their character roles because he fit them better in rp and it just grew from there! Now they are completely their own separate beings from the anime characters as I'm not really interested in said anime characters anymore. But its a funny thought!! As for Nova she was originally made to be an antagonist? We were always heading into new arcs and always had new ideas so we always needed new characters to keep up with it. Except we really like her?? Her and Night always had good chemistry so it was hard to keep her as a villain that we would no longer use after said arc... So we changed her story a lil. BUT it hasn't changed THAT much, shes just no longer evil. so that's good! :P
