You've awoken to the sound of people yelling.

You recognized the voices as your parents

The sound of falling glass hitting the floor abruptly silences the yelling.

The yelling goes on again but this time the voice alternate. Just after that

We're a couple of shots were heard you assumed it was your Father  firing, he must've been having one of his outbursts, which you'd prefer to avoid at all costs.

You wished you had still been asleep instead of hearing all the commotion

Several minutes later

When you hear your door open, you take a quick glance look at the person who opened it. Your heart skipped a beat, thinking it was one of your father men, as it had been the previous time which didn't end quite well

But Instead, it was your older brother Francois  telling you that you should remain in your room.

You've insisted on going with him

He eventually gives up.

You take a walk with the tall figure beside you.

You'd arrived at your parents room....

Your mother's dead body was lying there in blood, glass fragments around her head covered in a mixture of wine and her own blood, which was blending together, while your father faced the window, uttering a small conversation with his man.

My father voice bringing me back to reality

Father man enters once more ,tarp and mop at hand

He than proceeds to place them in front of us,

father responded connecting eyes with us through the reflection of window

"You better get working"

He makes his move and leaves the room with his wine glass at hand,not even looking back once
