Why do people portray Lyney as the oblivious/dumb member of the Fontaine siblings(they're all extremely intelligent)? The only reason I can think of is that he is energetic and outgoing.

When he was in Meropide, after the whole sluice gate incident when you get to decide whether or not to tell the siblings about it, he literally deduces a lot of the secret based on little evidence. He is clearly pretty clever.

Also, his story quest was literally a complex scheme to get the people who killed Cesar to turn themselves in? That he succeeded in?

Arlecchino also chose him to be the next "king" of the house, and I doubt she'd choose an oblivious idiot to run things.

There are more points I can't think of at the moment, but I hope I was able to voice my thoughts coherently enough lol
