- wakes up at 6 am and runs around the octopod "IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MATEYS"

- spam calls calico jack till he picks up and tells him that they are visiting him

- birthday celebration in the jungle or somewhere piratey

peso:

- a bunch of the sea creatures he's helped surprise him with cards and cute finds from the ocean

- he gets cute bandaids and stickers for gifts

- "guyss you didn't have to do this for me" while on the verge of happy tears

shellington:

- knows it's his birthday but doesn't really care

- he comes out of his room finally for dinner and the octonauts jump out surprising him

- their legs are sore after waiting for so long

- "should we text him??" "no it'll be too obvious" [proceeds to wait for two hours]

- vegimals made a cake shaped like a magnifying glass for him

dashi:

- SCAVENGER HUNT MADE BY KOSHI LEADING HER TO A SURPRISE!!

- they go out to a pretty island to take photos

tweak:

- she gets new video games

- probably gets dupes but is too grateful to say so

- two weeks later "hey kwazii do u want this game" "OMG YES" he's the one who got it for her

inkling:

- swarm him in huge hugs

- overall calm celebration

- TONS of gifts

- surprises them w breakfast in bed

- tries cooking for them but fails

imagine if the octonauts was just one big child friendly documentary about them

like

they do live in the octopod, but some of their stuff is filmed for the documentary

what would go on behind the scenes,,

like i bet u kwazii has the mouth of a sailor and sometimes they have to redo takes or cover stuff with music bc he forgets to not curse while filming

and then peso would be the opposite, constantly reminding kwazii to say more "friendly phrases" and thats how he came up w like "shiver me whiskers" and "ill be a sea monkeys uncle" etc

shellington is most definitely neurodivergent (coming from an nd person) and they prolly had to cut clips and cut him out of the screen sometimes bc of infodumping/stimming etc

tweak and dashi lesbians real. theyd sneak off when theyre not in an episode to go on dates

i could go on and on so i might write a fanfic about this hehehwhejqbrwkbdkwbf
