In MW, I felt that Adler’s hair base had a certain resemblance to Graves’. And in Vanguard, I thought some Soviet and German characters seemed to be created either based on Adler or from a similar base 3D model—sharing structural similarities, though their facial proportions and emphasized features felt subtly different. If you’re not into 3D models, you probably have no idea what I’m talking about.

To be honest, I was completely captivated by how beautifully the ocean was portrayed in the cliff scene. I was just staring at it.

Then suddenly, the duel began.

He should’ve been holding a flower, not a gun.

My blog, in a broader sense, revolves around that kind of universe.

After arguing with you, Adler often replays the things he said in the kitchen, wondering whether he was wrong. Sometimes, he decides there’s nothing wrong with him at all.

If I'm being honest, the thought came to me after the first chapter of BOCW: "[Sex = Adler / Marriage = Woods]," and I even said it out loud. And to this day, that thought hasn't not that much changed.

I'm still getting familiar with how things work in the Tumblr ecosystem.
I just wanted to say: if I’m not following you, it doesn’t mean I don’t want to communicate. This is my first time actively uploading content here, so I was mostly focused on preparing my posts.
That said, I came across so many beautiful creations while browsing, and I truly enjoyed them. There’s such a huge archive of content—it might take me a while to take it all in and get comfortable here.
Also, I haven’t had many fellow CoD fans around me, so I’ve been quietly enjoying fan activities on my own for a long time. I might be a bit unfamiliar with how to connect and communicate with others, but I’d love to try.

Adler speaks the words, then pauses to savor them, a faintly awkward smile curling his lips.
The lens catches a flicker of light, veiling his eyes in reflection.
…Or maybe they do show.

He could say it—"I'm your goddamn husband." Or stumble through it, frustration bubbling—"I'm goddamn your goddamn husband."

About interpretation
Ah, I just thought—some people might have felt something was off when reading my interpretation of Fracture Jaw that I posted in the community. When I responded, my answer was nothing different from "generally discussed points" which could be found on the wiki and game portals.
So I'd like to clarify that there was no personal interpretation included in that response. I'm just letting you know in case you were curious.

The Trials of 3D Conversion of hair
If you’re not into The Sims or CC making, feel free to skip this post.
3D modeling is truly mysterious. Even when working with the exact same character, they can look different depending on various conditions.
While there are undeniable limitations in what The Sims can express, Adler’s original 3D model was my reference.
The Sims can only create asymmetrical faces using special sliders, and those sliders interfere with each other—using one prevents the use of another on the same area. So this version is a compromise.
Tumblr media
Choosing the right skin texture was another uphill battle. I hunted down similar-looking skins, modified them manually, and painted scars directly onto the UV map. It took multiple rounds of switching between Photoshop and S4 Studio due to the positioning and angles.
In The Sims, full-body textures must fit into a 1024x2048 (or multiple thereof) texture space. Hair textures are broken down into components—base layer near the scalp, main shape, and strands that flow outward—which meant I had to rearrange the whole layout to include everything seamlessly.
As you probably know, this hair mesh is extremely high-poly for The Sims. I started confidently, but Adler’s head shape differs greatly from the default Sims head. I spent a ridiculous amount of time pushing and pulling polygons to get a proper fit.
The character also has a ton of hair around the ears, which made weight painting and data transfer complicated due to jaw movement and cheek animations.
After completing the first version and checking in-game, I found that the delicate texture made the hair appear hollow. I had to create additional plane—something Adler’s original mesh didn’t even have—just to fill the gap. Still, transparency issues persist. I believe it’s due to the alpha channels being much delicate than those used in typical Sims hair CC.
Though I completely deconstructed and rebuilt the mesh three times—which took nearly a month—some structural transparency issues remain. These often happen with hairstyles that include visible partings in Alpha hairs.
So the hair CC isn’t something I can comfortably share.
Still, I take screenshots joyfully and upload them with a smile 😊
Just because something looks easy and fun, doesn’t mean it actually is.

[Fandoms shouldn’t go full potato. If we don’t hit the creators with razor-sharp interpretations of the source material, they’ll think we’re just here to drool over character posters. Then they’ll treat us like clowns and easily remove their characters.]

I first played BO6 a few months ago just to see the old boy.
But I also enjoyed the new characters.
After a few minutes, I felt like Troy Marshall had a class president vibe. I mean that as a compliment—I like characters with that kind of energy.
Then RC entered the vent, and through the camera feed, I spotted the old boy—trapped in what looked like a cage.
I just sipped my soda and watched for a while.
(I didn’t rush in right away.)
And the only thing I remember was him saying: “AM NOW.”
